Great prose, and an accurate translation. Unfortunately, there's nobody active in the VN industry who has both of these, so the bar is already low. Shitty prose, incomprehensible dialogue, and inconsistencies throughout. If the story doesn't read smoothly, then it's obvious the translator doesn't have a proper command of the language.

You should be fine then. Some VNs you have to double touch (double tap?) to advance a line of text, but it's not a big deal and you get used to it.

You would experience the same compatibility issues any other windows 10 device would, if applicable. The specs for that specific device are fine for 95% of visual novels that are compatible with windows 10. Only recent releases, or heavy game-play VNs, have high requirements, e.g. Rance X/Chronobox require >=2GHz processors. My tablet is 2GB ram, 1.33GHz, and I've only had issues with recent releases.

You don't really have much to choose from on PS4--you would have a ton more to look at if you had a Vita. Pick something that looks like a moege/slice of life, they are typically easy to read.

Go to vndb.org, and browse to the Releases section. Filter results: Platform -> PS4; Original Language -> Japanese. Not everything is going to be available digitally through the Sony store, though. PS4 is definitely not very popular for VN releases.
