Has there been any h codes for happiness motion? Really having a hard time finding one.
-
Oops yeah, I forgot. When I think of Key I think of clannad and little busters since Rewrite didnt really felt "key" like. Edit: To be specific, For drama/romance try clannad or little busters, rewrite is really different from the rest of key games and summer pockets I have no idea

Try checking out Key games, all of their games are nakiges which are drama/romance games.

Nice to meet you too! Good luck on learning Japanese, It might seem daunting at first but with motivation you can bulldoze your way through, and that feeling of achievement when you feel like you can finally read has an amazing catharsis. Playing through a lot of VN's since I tend to alternate alot when I get tired. Favorite is fate/stay night since that was the first VN I really felt addicted to that I couldnt stop thinking about. If you'd like more choices for untranslated VN's you could message me anytime

I've actually been using fuwanovel forums a lot and generally lurking or asking for recommendations. I used to use r/vn a lot but as I dived into the abyss of untranslated visual novels, finding discussions for untranslated vn's became hard. And thus, I found this forums and immediately searched like a madman for recommendations, and this forum defined all the vn's I played. It's sad that in real life there aren't much people to talk about VN's(or probably they're hiding their hobbies like me). The last person I told about my VN hobbies was surprised since I never watch anime, read manga or act like an "otaku" would. Well, their surprise leaned towards the negative side so after that I stopped talking about it in RL and just used forums. Seeing everyone in the forum is kind(probably), I hope to get along with everyone as this is the one of the few places I can talk about VN's

Akari from Onigokko and ritsuko from princess evangile just melt my heart, also i realize a ton of heroines I tend to like are black-haired so yeah that's a plus. Anyone has suggestions for vn's (as long as it doesn't too dark like gore or ntr or anything my frail heart cant handle. Nakiges are fine though, except utsuges) that has heroines like them.
-
While playing Natsu Uso, their past was really interesting. Out of all the VN's I read that was probably the only ex-gf setting vn. There's somehow something interesting about two people with a past that makes them awkward. Are there any other games with heroines as ex-gf?

Playing Minamijuujisei Renka atm, not really interested in Mitsuki and Sakuya, probably gonna skip them and go ahead to kanori(true route of some sorts). Anyone else who played this knows if If this is a bad idea? I don't really want to play a charage and force myself to play through someone I wasnt interested in

Looked at Hatsukoi Sankaime's tags, and it's really interesting. Saw the mystery tag which made me more interested. Is this a nakige or something? Ghost heroines dont usually end very happily, also mystery tags are there so yeah
-
Is this similiar to Hoshi Ori? I really had trouble playing it due to its slow-paced nature at the start

By believable, I mean its well paced up to the formation of their relationship, and where the girls love the MC for being the MC. After finding out what I really like(I thought I liked ichaicha and moeges but it led to me dying inside because it was predictable and my suspension of disbelief was stretched too much.), which is a good transition from friends to couple. That transition affects my enjoyment for the rest of the game, as I can't forget if this certain couple only became a couple because this MC was an altruistic idiot and was kind at the right times that they loved each other. Not a requirement but I would enjoy heroines who are like Rina from Fureraba and Usagi from PxH 2.It's the charismatic and confident types. Untranslated(just not a bit too complex) and english is fine.

Primal Hearts 2 spoilers ahead

Yeah, I just realized that in terms of what i usually enjoy are romcoms. But what truly made me love VN's in general VN's like fate/stay night and steins;gate. Likeable characters plus amazing plot that you won't forget. The difference between the usual romcoms i enjoy is that i'll probably love that certain character and forget about it after a few months while plot games like steins gate or fate stay night will have unforgettable stories. I still have a strong memory of that moment in Heavens feel

By kind, I don't mean anything specific. Just what do you enjoy best in VN's. I'm curious about what other people enjoy on this kind of medium and the reasons behind it. Personally, I enjoy charages and romcom VN's. People who know me in real life would probably be surprised at my choices since the books and movies i usually consume are dark, suspense mystery kinds. I can read anything pretty much with books but in VN's the romance and ichaicha are unique to this medium. Mangas and animes usually offer unsatisfactory romances or pander to fanservice too much. VN's can take their sweet time developing romance and you actually feel the story since it's easier to immerse yourself inside the medium. Books and movies are restricted by their length and manga and anime are well, anyone who in their past tried to watch romance VN's know the constant misunderstandings to stall progress and that is a big no. Wrote this while being extremely sleepy but being unable to sleep. So I might have said something i didnt realize but oh well.

Recently started reading untranslated visual novels. Noticed that I really enjoyed light or drama-free works like Kari Gurashi Renai or SMEE games. Probably because a lot of VN's that are usually comedic in tone suddenly shift to forced drama, and that's a big dislike for me. I don't necessarily want only drama-free works but if there's drama it should be good and natural. VN's I liked, Smee games (Fureraba,Making lovers, etc) Kari Gurashi Renai Natsu no Ame Princess Evangile

First VN was Phoenix Wright. At that point, I didnt know i was playing a visual novel. For me it was just a point and click game( sort of) . The first vn i played that i thought was a visual novel was fate/stay night. Kept seeing "play the game instead" "anime's bad" (this was before the ubw adaptation). Downloaded it and kept playing it straight for a week . Fell in love with the genre right there.

Error in Japanese, need help understanding

Apparently deleting the saves help, as annoying as it is -
https://imgur.com/a/vkyOXey Was playing kin'iro loveriche normally yesterday and suddenly this error pops up now. I've tried reinstalling but it's the same
-
Yeah the problem was using the original ITH, i'm now using ITHVNR and it hooked properly but there was no threads appearing for kin'iro loveriche. Was there an h code for that? Or is this another bug
-
Also , I don't know if this helps but sometimes this appears https://imgur.com/a/KfwBAX4

ITH has problems hooking the text from SiglusEngine games. At first, it was hoshi ori and i thought there was an issue with the game but i played Kiniro loveriche(another siglusengine game) and it was totally the same issue. I've played other VN's and it was fine, only with these siglus games There are 2 issues 1st, is that the games sometimes crashes when being attached to ITH. Sometimes, it works and sometimes it doesn't. I still have no idea what factors are in play here but i just continually spam running it until it magically works and when it works... It's the 2nd issue The 2nd issue is that the text is cut-off or missing. I've tried playing around with different options and text speeds but it's still the same.
