  7. true next person wishes for more non school related anime.
  8. see the problem with your statement is that while yes its a slice of life show it uses mystery as its central reason for the characters to interact. without the mysteries oreki would have left the classics club after knowing they had a single member as he said because he was no longer needed to prevent it from being shut down as his sister asked. it was through chitanda roping him in to solving mysteries that the relationship between the characters advanced. so if the reasons for the characters to interact at least in the beginning is presented weakly it does throw off the feel of the show. dont get me wrong i'm not watching it solely for the mystery genre or the romance genre for that matter i'm simply watching because i read a review stating it was one of the few slice of lifes to come out recently that was well done and figured id give it a shot as character driven drama and slice of life are some of the most enjoyable anime to me . but if you think that the mystery or romance content are unimportant id have to disagree.
  9. true he tends to post the best moe next person agrees with me that its hard to understand why one piece is so well liked.
  10. well i started this anime when i got up this morning and i'm currently on the 10th episode. here are my current thoughts on the series. chitanda is so freaking cute that it makes my brain hurt. i love her character. so far all the main cast of characters are good but the chemistry between chitanda and oreki is what really drives my enjoyment of the show. the mysteries they solve seem really tame and with the exception of the missing chitanda memory of her uncle they have thus far been essentially pointless other then providing a setup for character interaction. oreki is fun to watch unlike most protagonists in recent years hes not flavorless and useless. his lack of motivation is something i can relate to as well seeing as how i also like to be left alone and not forced into doing stuff i have no wish to do. so far its looking like its gonna be a show thats average but with above average characters. what have any of you who have seen it thought of it ?

  20. i have all the volumes of the translated light novels and new testament and i was wondering is it worth reading the volumes already covered in the anime or just skipping ahead to where the next part of the story starts? i don't mind the extra reading but if there is no purpose to it then maybe ill skip ahead what do you guys think , i'd like opinions before i start digging in to the series.
  21. yeah here in the usa the indonesian culture is pretty much a unknown. we have entire areas of major cities devoted to china, japan, korea and others even vietnam and thailand but you never hear about indonesia . i personally would love to play a vn or two set in the indonesian culture or history preferably with a supernatural element thrown in to learn of the cultures myths and legends a bit as well.
