i actually didn't mind that scene . it wasn't romantic but it wasn't written to be romantic it was utilitarian they had a desperate situation on there hand and circumstances involved caused rin to force shiros bitch ass to actually do what needed to be done rather than over complicating it with emotion concerns.

nosebleed pretty much summed up my tastes as well, omnibus format works best for romcoms with multiple heroins. but at the same time there is some cases when the multiple heroines harem style is fine as well depending on whether a definite choice seems likely to be made like they did in the shuffle adaptation. as far as arcs go i prefer them to be done in a concise and appropriate length. iv made my feelings about the second sao arc known before here but it bears repeating it was rushed and crammed in a space too small for it i mean to Ln volumes jammed in ten eps when the aincrad arc and short storys were maybe 15-16 eps long . it was like this with the da capo adaptation as well they crammed too many routes together to the point it was almost incoherent from the original work. im ok with shonen anime when the arc structure is done well like the difference between bleach and dbz. both contain lots of battles and story arcs but dbz takes way to many eps to show a single fight where as bleach not only sums up all but the most important fights in only 1-3 eps they show multiple battles from various combatants simultaneously in order to cut down the amount of time dedicated to a single conflict.

i love light novels, sadly i cant not read jap. but ive read all the current sao, and am currently trying to decide on the next series to start its a toss up between highschool dxd, haruhi, oreimo, and kokoro connect.

well i just finished hayate the combat butler season 2, the ova and the movie, so im currently watching Hataraku Maou-sama! to take a break before starting season three of hayate even though i hate the way the new studio is handling the animation and character designs i feel i must complete the series after all at this point im 78 episodes and a hour long movie invested in the series.

acthualy if i remeber corectly they dident follow the ln perfectly the order of events in aincrad were off some what from them incorporating the short storys from the second volume as well as some from material edition . i get what your saying though too much filler would have been bad but the timing in the second half felt realy rushed like they dident have the right amount of eps to truely cover the material in fairy dance as it was intended . but every one has there own oppinion.

the problem with the second half of first season was the pacing imho. they took 2 books and tried to cram them in to like 10 episodes it was a bad idea they should have just added more short story filler eps or possibly a original aincrad arc to season one , did fairy dance as season two and then moved on to phantom bullet for a third season . pacing is key in reki senseis books.

i cant help thinking about what the hell ougi is he/she said that they work punishing liars and the darkness does similar actions punishing apparitions that have strayed from there intended role. maybe he/shes a personification of the phenomenon? hmmm it has been bugging me . plus ougi wasn't around in the other series yet shows up randomly knowing everyone and saying things like oh yeah we haven't met yet i forgot. what the hell is ougi outside of the rules of time or possibly the chain of cause and effect? then again he/she also states they are oshino meme's niece yet later we learn oshino has never had any family.

yeah they already announced that kizu was goona be made as a movie instead of a arc and that last i read it was expected to be done in 2014 but theres been no further announcements since then. frankly im looking forward to it immensely. oshino isn't my fave of the girls but shes third on my list so i cant wait to see more of her in a more active role.

i finished stiens gate the other day took me almost 100 hours cuzz i dident use a walk through and had to do stuff over and over to get the right results

ill keep looking but we packed tons of stuff in random boxes and storage bins the last two years because of our son being born

Seitokai no Ichizon is great and the second season was good too i wish i could get the light novels in english io know theres fan translation going on for it but its taking a long time and id realy like to support that series. yeah i cant wait for the next episode also i wish they would announce when were getting kizumongatori allready im tired of waiting with no hope clearly in sight.

um the fad of trapped in a mmo actually goes back to dot hack and possibly further but id have to check on that . as for my thoughts every year is about the same quality wise i actually think that most years the bar raises by a bit the thing is most people compare it to either the giant hits that happened in the past like full metal alchemist bebop etc. or they look on the past nostalgically . but the problems with these two methods is that theres usually a hit only every couple of years and its been that way forever and the nostalgic view is skewed because if you go back and rewatch most of the stuff you remember fondly from the past you'll usually notice its not as fantastic as you remember it being.

popotan its a vn adaption but its realy good i havent played the novel but as a stand alone anime its pretty entertaining .

also if the more serious ones are your cup of tea as it seems id suggest crosschannel it was fantastic

Honestly this sort of thing is why I like this game, and vn's in general. I think the routes in this particular game are good because every character is flawed, and the creators push their flaws to the forefront. I don't mean the obvious flaws, but rather the flaws that everyone has but nobody wants to admit. To use the example from before, Lilly's route is more about Hisao's heart condition on the surface. True, but I noticed through out that route Lilly went from seeming almost as if she had no problems in the world to finally revealing she was just as flawed a person as Hisao. i get that i do but i also know that artists who go pro can often crank out stuff that others enjoy at amazing speed with out realying on a muse. i spent years trying to become an artist and i have more inner turmoil than i can use in a life time , i put in the effort and time yet can still not draw to a point that someone can say "{i need you to draw this basic concept by this deadline" and actualy do it not only that but everything i draw i see major flaws in to the point where all these years later i still have no pride in my work. but it dosent casue me a identity crises . i guess what im saying is art isent about self identity the way they tried to portray it the art dosent make the artist the artist makes the art. gah now i cant even coherently make my point
