If you have access or read any/most of japanese works, that come out every month you wouldn't be making such statements. What we like on the west is nothing but a drop in the sea of crappiness. Current visual novels, where nearly everything at the moment turns out to be cheaply made moege, full of boobs and panty shots is a climax of years of highly increased market competition, cramped up within but a tiny space of possibilities. That said I can't except any quality writing from high schoolers. In overall, it's not about what they want or would like to write about, but what market demands them to write.

Most of modern protagonist archetypes are undeniably stupid and I'm not even talking about being plain dumb; being forced to look upon the world through their own eyes is the worst kind of torture, japanese developers unleash on their players. And "japanese" does not mean I'm favoring western creators, either. Their creations are simply off the charts in terms of stupidity. Rare exceptions happen in overall (at times quite unusual, to say the least), but in most cases there's little to none sympathy I feel to most of the protagonists, especially heores from that sea of mud "called" moege.

Just as expected. I'm so done with doing ANY draws in this game. I'm just going to hoard stones from now on and use them in events. At least that way you can get an idolized card if you do good enough and proper 10+1 at least guarantee a single SR. I'm so dissapointed. Everyone in my timeline gets SR's, one after another and I can't get even a single card, not even a decent rare.

You're all lucky, haha. I'm wondering, whether I should secure the stones for the next event, or just try my luck and use them for single draws. New SR's are kinda tempting, but last time I tried with singles, I got ugly rare repeats. Somehow, I never get lucky, when I need it - my luck is completely random and often comes in least expected situations. I have one ticket as well, so either I'll do a single draw, three, or two and secure five gems for the future. I want new cards as well! ; ^;

This is a literal pile of bullshit and best (worst) excuse ever any dev could pull out of the hat to "protect" their business. I'm really wondering when developers of all kinds will learn that increased positive recognition means increased profits.

You miss in what sort of way? Berserk is still an ongoing series. There's nothing to miss, rather a lot to expect.

That's what you get for being a true fan of japanese visual novels and spreading the word about games you love. Currently, anyone can report a video on YT for practically anything; it didn't used to be like that in the past, but Google had to comply with various major copyright holders that pushed their claims YT is spreading piracy through their unrestricted video sharing services. That claim you got is preety much absurd, by the way, but I doubt it gets resolved. If it really was someone from Pulltop, they propably don't want to have their games streamed by filthy gajins.

Swan Song should pick your fancy. That said, english readers are missing on most of the greater works. There are titles like Muramasa, Kajiri Kamui Kagura and Dies Irae (to name a few) which topple everything else in terms of really dark themed stories with fantastic characters and fleshed out settings. Unfortunately, they are still available only in japanese and that won't change for a very long time (apparently, Jast might have picked up Muramasa, but there's no new info when do they even plan to start working on it).

The descriptions seem to be completely misleading, then. I guess the most efficient way would be to spam the expert song, provided you can S-A it. What about the 4x versions? Are they cost/point efficient, or more just a way to spam large ammounts of tokens at once? I guess that's the main reason why japanese devs introduced them ingame.

Can someone explain me what the hell it means when an event song is taking tokens, but the final score doesn't count towards the event ranking? I failed to comprehend what did they even meant with addition of those new song versions.

Speaking of threats, the feminist community is propably trying to piss of gamers as well - they are petitioning Steam to completely shut down it's services for a whole hour as a form of protest against their oppresive behaviour. I agree sending rape and death threats is an awful thing to do, but why should the worldwide community take responsibility for what was done by a bunch of people? I find that particular way of thinking no different from previous commitments of those guys.

Even VPN's don't give permanent protection from tracking. If someone wants to track this guy really badly, he'll do it anyway. INB4 /v/ and /a/ launch a holy crusade on him, as well. After all, he's against the "simulated rape" games, everyone around holds so dearly. You don't threaten eroge gamers, period. It's a nasty and dangerous force to be reckoned with.
