Awww, those comics I got a 210k score on the event song after FCing with 40 greats. My goal is to get it down to 30 greats and pump my team up by another 800 points w/ the event SR... and then with both 13% skills, I'll spam event songs and hope for a really lucky run to get to 220k if I can.

I made yakisoba once and it was amazing and tasty. I'm really excited to try more once I start living away from home and doing more of the cooking by myself. Onigiri here I come! xD

I'm really happy to know that at least one person agrees with me, Ang3l, about basically everything you brought up. It's important to expose people to what we love about visual novels, not misplaced or questionably comical screencaps. I'm not sure how clear it came across in my original post, but I want to explicitly say that I don't think this is the right way to bring people into visual novels, or even to make them popular, because then a particular and uninformed opinion gets formed by many people, which (by the looks of many of those posts) could negatively impact the community. Sorry if I overstated this, but it's a topic I care about, because I really really get bothered by those 'funny' pictures of touching scenes from Katawa Shoujo (and others, quite possibly) that completely dismiss the feelings and value of the story.

It's the best visual novel I've ever read. Up there with Tsukihime. That said, I don't appreciate stuff like those reddit posts because I hold Katawa Shoujo very close to my heart and they put it to such callous and joking use. I won't impose on other people, because I understand most people don't feel the same way and don't treat it so reverently, but that's their thing and I must disagree. On the topic of vns making way into common media, that's nice to hear. Even if lots of the specifics are unsatisfactory to me, it's a vague but definite step in the direction of popularity for visual novels in the West and something that most everyone active on this site should recognize and feel empowered about. I simply hope that it helps others who cherish these stories and characters as much as I do find their way to the world of wonderful visual novels.

Umm, depending on the game mode it can be friendly or brutal. Ranked queue is pretty up and down, but normal games tend to be pretty nice if you put your best foot forward

I really need to read more. I have quite a few sci-fi and fantasy books on my shelves, and WAAAAY more on a list on my computer, but I tend to watch anime, read manga, and read vns more often (but I need to read more because Dune is SOOO GOOD AND I'M SURE THERE'S SO MUCH MORE AMAZING STUFF WAITING FOR ME ON THE OTHER SIDE)

probably not worth, but you could test. I havent fc'd it yet (170 combo max) and I'm at like 550 in the rankings with 197k score. Hoping to break 210k, but top 200 seems like an impossibility T.T
