Favourite anime songs you can't understand
Otaku1612 replied to Otaku1612's topic in Anime/Manga Talk
Well, this is certainly awkward. Didn't see that thread, probably should have actually looked before making this -
As we all know, pretty much every anime/visual novel has songs in Japanese which we unenlightened people who do not know Japanese cannot understand, yet love regardless. Just thought I'd see what people like and sample some stuff I haven't found yet. Here's mine.

Alright, I confess I missed that one. Regardless, the Loli/Moe quo has now been restored.

I'd pick the normal income, simply because being rich kind of makes you a target. 1. Become a symbol of fear and hatred in order to save people and change things 2. Become a symbol of justice and truth in order maintain the status quo Best I could think of on the spot.

Welcome to the Madhouse that is Fuwanovel! No exits. And where is this man's customary welcome Loli and Moe pics? Slackers

Memorable or one of your favorite quotes you get from an anime :D

Yet another Code Geass one. From R2 I think. "Let me ask you something, Lord Guilford. Suppose there is an evil that justice cannot bring down. What would you do? Would you taint your hands with evil to destroy evil? Or would you carry out your own justice and succumb to that evil?" Lelouch Vi Britannia -
I have to say, two of my favorite book series are the Edge Chronicles and the Broken Sky series. Both are awesome. And I also love a nice touch of WH40K, although nothing not related to either the Eldar or the Imperium. I cannot abide the stench of Chaos. Lord of the Rings was also good, nice to see some stuff not included in the films like that dick of tree and Tom Bombadil. Anything else...............the Conqueror's Shadow by Ari Marmell was very good, nice mix of comedy and seriousness. And that's all that I can think of for now.

Yuno for the win.

At Chapter 3 of G-senjou no maou, probably going to play either Katawa Shouko or maybe Cross Channel next. And of course replaying ME2. And playing Call of Juarez Gunslinger. Shooting people in the face is awesome.

Bit of a strange one here, but the 'which dere are you thread' got me thinking. Which kind of dere would you like to be in a relationship with? Personally, yandere, simply because I love Gasai yuno from Mirai Nikki. http://deluscar.wordpress.com/2012/01/02/a-guide-to-the-deres/

I shed some man tears at the third ending of Shinigami Kiss Wa Wakare No Aiji.

SAO, Kirito: The price of your actions in the virtual world is that it changes who you are in the real one. Code Geass R2, Suzaku: I've been naive up until now. Stubbornly maintaining that the means are more important than the end result. I was idealistic and self righteous. And here's an old one that I love for some reason, from Ranma 1/2, Ranma Saotome itself: I'm a guy! -
Mirai Nikki: Yuki! Parts that make no sense yet I love! Man Tears! SAO: Like the Pacific Rim of the anime world in that it is dumb yet still GODDAMNED AWESOME! Log Horizon: The thinking man's SAO The World God Only Knows: What every visual novel player/reader aspires to be

*Is torn between supporting solidbatman by watching the stream or not due to not having played Little Busters yet*

Currently playing Sleeping Dogs after picking it up for free on Xbox Live. Torn between getting the Banner Saga or Long Live the Queen. Probably the Banner Saga, LLTQ looks good, but it doesn't have Vikings. Or Varls. Both of which are awesome.

Animes and manga that you wish to be produced as a VN?
Otaku1612 replied to Tadayoshi's topic in Visual Novel Talk
A Code Geass VN would certainly be interesting. Only just started watching it, and it is awesome. -
Ore no Imouto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai ~ VN Edition
Otaku1612 replied to Tadayoshi's topic in Visual Novel Talk
I am SO looking forward to this translation finishing. I'll probably finish the Kuroneko route first, which I think should have been what happened in the end. Last 3 or so episodes are what ruined Oreimo for me. Probably Ayase next. It's gonna be awesome. -

Infinite Stratos for me as well. POSSIBLY Ranma 1/2, although that's a bit old. A version of Rosario Vampire I could actually get my hands on. And TWGOK would be very interesting to see, I agree. -
The closest I come to is probably Yandere with maybe a little kuudere. Although with no person to get obsessive over. Go psychotic people!

At the risk of starting a fan war, I have to say the character I hate most is Kyousuke Kousaka. I DID like him, but then 'the ending' happened, and 'the ending' is not the problem I have, it's just the execution which pisses me off. *Begins praying he has not started something bad*

If I had known there would be moe I would have joined sooner. Funny that the only reason I came here was the Fuwapocalypse. Never before has something good come out of something so horrible....................

Just felt like asking a quick question of all of you. Which do you prefer, anime adapted from VNs or VNs adapted from anime? I simply ask this because both could be seen to have their merits and downsides. Nice to see a VN get some animation and more character, but can be a pain if the final choice of heroine isn't the one you picked. Likewise, it can be nice to have a chance to pick the heroine that you wanted from an anime. What's your opinion? As the great Jeremyjahns says, comment below, let me know!

I agree with Shikiller mostly. Although if it IS harem then you need some good comedy, and action is always nice. As long as it doesn't seem like it's trying to be everything and/or failing, I will give a show/visual novel a try.

Hello there fellow VNers, just a quick little intro Name's Otaku1612, lover of anime, video games, and of course, VNs Was into anime for awhile before I stumbled across The World God Only Knows, which got me intrigued about VNs, which led me to this site. Already have four under my belt, those being the, in my opinion excellent, Galaxy Angel trilogy and Shinigami Kiss wa wakare no aiji. Am also currently working my way through G-senjou no maou. I look forward to VN discussion and further work from the amazing Fuwanovel team

H-scenes are kind of a mixed bag for me. If they get in the way of the story, kind of like what I've found in G-senjou no Maou, which is simply my opinion, then I just can't be bothered to play on despite the excellent story because I know every time I'd like to see more of a character's story when I pick her route I have to go through one every time, and seriously, it's sex, there's not alot of variation in it so it just becomes boring. And there are some VNs that prove you don't need H-scenes to be a good VN, the Galaxy Angels trilogy being my example here. Not that H-scenes are bad persay, the ones in Shinigami Kiss wa wakare no aiji fit the VN. Way I see it, they shouldn't be there if they get in the way and don't have to be to make the VN good.
