I'm level 24 Magician apprentice. 12 more levels for a job change! I'm surprised there hasn't been any wizard (or how to avoid being a wizard) thread yet. lol

Confession: I still use a flip-phone without data... All these talk about hand-held consoles and smarter "devices" gives me a weird feeling .

My cousin is set to go to Univ. of Wisconsin (Madison) this year. I'm going to go with her when she moves so I can have an excuse for a road-trip (New York to Wisconsin).

Very nice channel~ I like it. So far she explains stuff pretty well, but I think you'll have to be able to follow her. People would need to be accustomed to her speed.

I just finished recently with two of my students. If you want 1-on-1 grammar sessions, you can hit me up. I teach (only) grammar from the scratch up until the end of "basic" grammar (it's about the end of JLPT N3). You can ask either Nosebleed or Keaton how the whole session thing goes. The biggest problem I can see though might be our timezone differences, and it's one of the main reason why I can't teach the others properly. Or if you have any general questions really, you can always hit me up!

As of tonight, I have successfully (???) taught both Nosebleed and Keaton (Grieviious) most of the basic essential grammar. I just want to thank both of them for their participation and patience with me. Any feedback as for my teaching sessions are appreciated (send them via PM please). Couple of things I learned throughout the sessions: 1. I think interactive skype call is way more efficient, and effective than chatting. 2. Average (with a sample of two people) pacing seems to be two sessions per week. 3. Average topics covered per session is about 4-5 depending on difficulty of topics. 3. It's kinda hard to get you guys to study new material on your own... 4. It pretty much became a 1-on-1 teaching session throughout vs. "Try to learn it first, then come to me with questions and clarification." 5. I cannot spend the effort nor time to track retention or immersion outside of the sessions. I might take new students in the future. I don't know. Maybe when people start their summer vacation, I might.

Well when I was a kid, I was pretty much unsupervised. My dad was a salaryman who I would almost never see during weekdays, and my mom is in another country. I had to learn how to moderate things early on.. I did go quite out-of-hand a couple of times but I pretty much learned restraint and control on my own.

I have one high school classmate who died from straight-up playing on the internet for hours and hours.... I mean I used to do it too when I was young. I was a MAJOR internet addict (mmos like Ragnarok online). But I never deprived myself of food or sleep. I don't know how people can get addicted to the point that they'd neglect basic bodily needs..

I think I got locked out of exhentai because I failed at my password so many times. I realized I had my caps lock on the whole time... I think something is telling me not to look at the dark side. lol...
