The character development is pretty stellar, and I loved looking at the end of the sixth volume and going "this is a completely different person than the one in the first novel" yeahhhhh. I re-read the entire thing in April (my first read being years ago....), but I'll read it again when the 7th novel comes out. Everything's coming to a head!

....I'm gonna be calm and centred (of course, my main argument was about RinXD's derogatory comments towards people who don't want sex in their games). Frankly, this is a whole new market for Frontwing. There are three real companies in this market: Sekai Project, which has shown the greatest amount of profit/support in its all-ages ventures (very few of its games are 18+, remember), Mangagamer (which, by its own staff's admissions, is barely keeping afloat/relies on non-story games to make its money - even when the story games have sex, they're crap shoots), and JAST (and we're surprised they're even releasing a game!). It's not surprising they're a little bit cautious. Add in the fact that in Japan, the 18+ and all-ages games are considered so different they need different titles. Their course of action isn't the most shocking thing. Sekai Project's PR, of course, needs work. But this sounds like a new thing. It actually sounds like they're still in negotiations with Frontwing and trying to work this out.... I'd wait a little before the knee-jerk reactions to how they're handling this.

Let's talk about "smut romance novels" with story not on the level of a nukige! That sounds like an interesting topic! What one would you say has humour on par with Grisaia? Or characters? I'm curious. Go for it. One that gets guys to read it as well as girls. Wow, they must feel marginalized with all the erotic content clearly not aimed at them surrounded by that great story they want to enjoy. They write them originally with erotic content and then, hey! They remove it! Because they want other people to play! The original developers decide, "hey, we understand that requiring erotic content in our game is kinda restrictive, so let's take it out!" And there's nothing wrong with it.

Admittedly, this is an attitude I despise in vn players, so forgive me for the attitude, but hey! This straight woman doesn't want to constantly read sex scenes aimed at guys, and otoges aren't translated very often or have the same level of story! People playing in public want options, too! Could you not tell a 20-year-old woman to "grow up" because she dislikes sex scenes in vns? There are reasons for it. Not only that - this may sound like a concept, but bear with me - if the original author writes the additional scenes, there's no censorship and it follows their intent. The important question here is whether the original authors wrote the vita content, but someone working for Frontwing certainly did or approved it, and I'm frankly getting sick of the VN scene's utter dependence on sex scenes when a hell of a lot of the time they're simple opportunities to fap that believe it or not can be replaced.

You're not supposed to hit the brakes, though? They limit the car's ability to steer, and the possibility of running into the object if it surprises you is high - you don't really have enough time to brake effectively (Canada's Worst Driver is life and law might be the actual reason I chose that answer). Yeah! The ending doesn't ruin it, too! Get hype! BL... good entry level stuff.. You can try Seven Days if you don't want sex scenes and Sorenari ni Shinken nandesu if you don't mind them (there's only one or two at the end - not one every chapter or anything if that's your worry). They're both quality I think most BL fans agree on... If neither of them look good, ask me for more. My mind isn't fully functional right now.

Yeah, Shoushichi's powers would be good. Kuki doesn't have powers to my knowledge, and if he does then they're battle-based, so that's not practical, and neither are Katou-sensei's. The moment you got in a fight tho they'd be badass~ ...Sakura's power would be good, too. The ability to be able to calm others in intense situations is great, considering I just spent an entire day in the same room as people who sighed every 5 seconds..... Would definitely use.

After Hirunaka, then. My next manga mission. Taking priority over even BL, I swear! Will report back!

Read the last Hirunaka no Ryuusei chapter. Good ending. Going back and rereading the entirety because I want to remember how good it was the entire way through and the ending didn't ruin everything. Solid romance shoujo manga for anyone looking for that sort of thing. With this strong of a recommendation, I'm interested. Can I ask if it's ecchi? I... just plain don't read ecchi, 'cause I do enough ignoring female nudity for male gaze in visual novels....

The worst thing to come out of his sexism that I can remember was a scene used entirely for comedy (the pink shark pack scene). I can't say I'm fond of when every female character in the entire novel falls for the MC, too... Some of them must have different tastes.

My attention span is that of a gnat, as I've said before. Given that they're the same quality, shorter VNs have a better possibility of keeping me there the entire time. Also, shorter = less time investment to get to the point to see if I'd like it. Longer VNs also seem to have more fluff...
