Quoting myself from a while back in this thread: 1. They could all be lying to me, but as long as I believe it to be the truth, then it is no lie, as far as I'm concerned. 1) Get your left arm cut off. 2) Get your left leg cut off. Fear not, you'll quickly get healed, you'll just have to live without either your leg or your arm.

As we all failed miserably, it seems. I will, however, let you know that you may want to change the resolution of the images you post here. As they are now, it's somewhat impossible to read what they say. We can only guess through the usual issues and problems.

Why are forums so anal about old topics and posts?
Mr Poltroon replied to Dark Ariel7's topic in General Discussion
I don't mind it either, really... I personally can't do this, though, I'm terrible at making opinions. There might have been a misunderstanding here. I'm talking about making a new thread when the old one is already dead. Two threads about the same thing just get merged anyways, unless one of them is already dead. Again, although that works, people won't read 10 pages of posts and it could just become a repeat and a cycle: Then again, it's not like that's a bad thing. I just think that making a new thread allows people's opinions to get read. Look at this example of how I do it: 10 page thread: I read the first and the second page, get bored and jump to the last one. 4 page thread: I read 1,2,4. 3 page thread: Read everything. Of course, that's me, but I'd wager that not everyone feels like reading through tens of pages on a particular thread, especially when most of the opinions are the same. Therefore, 3 threads with 2 pages a month, are more likely to get read than 1 thread with 6 pages every three months. By my logic, that is. Er... Clearly that's not the most practical example, but I'm trying to make a point here. If nothing else, new members get a clean playground to have fun on. -

New users also enjoy sharing their opinions. Creating new threads help that. There have been times before in which I wanted to post, but I was unable to contribute anything new to the thread in question. Most things had already been said or discussed. New members might feel the same way about old threads, so they make new ones. Of course, this doesn't negate the fact that it's mostly laziness. By redoing the discussion, new members get a clean slate, while old members can either ignore it, copy&paste or revise their opinions. -
The most unforgettable moment in your VN experience
Mr Poltroon replied to AMMSY's topic in Visual Novel Talk
For some reason, when I think infinity series, I think 'TUNA'. It's certainly 'unforgettable' for me. -
I have a rather strange method. If it's a stranger, I act like a gentleman. If it's a friend, I don't really care. If it's an acquaintance I don't like, I avoid them. Otherwise I always do that kind of stuff. The best bit is when the person in question ignores me and I get to say 'Your WELCOME'. They usually can't say anything back to that and either glare, or find it funny and thank me. Regarding whether girls get special treatment or not. I believe in equality. What's so bad about doing it for a man? I'm indifferent to gender.

Please remember that Fuwanovel is a Visual Novel themed website. Strangely, I can't help but notice that Free! is not, in fact, a visual novel. There we have it. A legitimate objection that is by no means subjectively influenced by the fact that it is a man in that banner.

Oi oi, they're either women or men. My favourite type of traps are the women. What's so strange about that? Those look like two types to me, both traps, but two kinds.
-
I wish I had any more examples to contribute other than those above. Regretfully, I don't. But I will make it clear that these are my favourite type of traps.

It does, in fact, require installation on the fuwanovel download. Nevertheless, that's irrelevant, he hasn't installed it yet. The problem is that he can't. For now, I recommend seeing if all your files are on 'read mode only' (you can check that in the properties) if they are, uncheck them. Fuwanovel also warns you about this, but make sure your still not seeding the torrent. There have been games I've been unable to do anything with until I made sure the files were not on 'read only mode'.

Forever is always terrible, regardless of what activity we are indulging. 2) I'll go with Tail's Adventure, as I have slightly more liberty with what I can do within the game. 1) Have a maid working for you. 2) Have a butler working for you.

I shall add more and more colours to your avatar until it becomes white. Consequently, it will merge with the Fuwa background and you it shall die from solitude because noone can see it.
-
Granted, you are 'decent'. But that's all, it's still terrible compared to all the good people. I wish I knew more words to add to my already overly complicated sentences.
-
Granted, your expectations were crushed. I wish I could make a useful contribution to a community for once.

What's your favourite type of heroine?
Mr Poltroon replied to Mr Poltroon's topic in Visual Novel Talk
Hmm... On better thought I'll revise the main post to make it clear it doesn't have to be from visual novels. -
Your mustache shall be shaved and you'll die from the shame. Mario's no Mario without his mustache. (I've also fixed my post to accommodate your cheating)

Bad Saber. You can't cheat or I'll have you exiled from this topic. Anyhow, thank you, I now know where it's from. -
What's your favourite type of heroine?

Where's this lass from? I've run out of bookworms you see? It's also interesting to see that most types of 'dere' seem to be popular. -
Granted, but she subsequently arrested on charges of being in the wrong worldline, that is, ours. *Ahem* I have successfully corrupted your next wish, even though you have yet to publicly share it, Mr. Sanada. Don't question it. I wish I could actually sleep when I go to bed, instead of spending two hours staring at the ceiling.

The preparations have been completed. You shall now be sent to a country where it is illegal to dance. Be prepared for capital punishment if you violate the law. You cannot leave this country without the proper documents, which I have conveniently confiscated. And don't worry about the living costs, you shall receive a pension which should allow you to live comfortably all year. Edit: At the date of this post, the avatar above was permanently dancing.

I see, you're a tougher opponent than I thought... Very well. I'll have you kidnapped and sent to the Russian tundra. ...It's still a kind of desert, right?

What's your favourite type of heroine?
Mr Poltroon replied to Mr Poltroon's topic in Visual Novel Talk
I'd be careful if I were you. You're in Fuwanovel, certain things must be kept to yourself unless you want to end up dead -
I'll steal your backpack and your rations. Then, you'll starve to death in a desert. (I believe you live in the middle of nowhere, yes?)

When I say 'heroine' I'm referring to the girls you can end up with in most visual novels. And when I say type, I'm referring to: Loli, Tsundere, Childhood friend, or whatever, make up your own parameters! I'd recommend providing examples and explaining why, although it's up to you. Examples can come from any visual novel, anime or manga you deem appropriate for the topic at hand. So then, I'll start with mine. My favourite type of heroine is usually the Kuudere character. An emotionless girl who gradually opens up. A variation of the previous heroine is the bookworm. It doesn't really need to be books or anything, but that's what most of them are like. The following doesn't really fit any archetype I can think of, so please, go ahead and enlighten me if you can. Now, bellow are some other types I also like: Tsundere, and I mean the ones who open up to you. Not the ones who go berserk and turn back in a matter of minutes. Loli, I can't survive cuteness, I'm afraid. Childhood friend, honestly, I find these a bit strange and unrealistic. For starters it is highly unlikely that one would fall in love with a childhood friend, secondly, who the hell would harbor feelings for someone for years on end, and instead of going out and profess their love, they decide to drop hints that they may or may not be in love with said person...? No matter, that kind of dedication makes me like these heroines. And that all, folks! P.S. When I searched for threads similar to this, I found one, but since it was long dead and buried I made a new one. I apologize in advance for any mistakes on my part.
