  1. Welcome to the forums, addict! As welcome, have an image that will put you spinnin':
  2. A most detailed introduction. Welcome to the forums and hope you enjoy your stay! Have an image! A lovely welcome gift:
  3. My favourite hair and eye colour is Blue hair and Brown eyes. Unfortunately, it is my belief that would not fit your character. A fine question, I'm wondering about this myself. Either everyone as a giant folder bursting with images or I'm missing something here.
  4. I feel I may be endangering my life by exposing myself like this, but this is way too interesting to pass on. I shall take control of The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland. "The King wishes to maintain the status quo. The Royal Fleet shall set off and take back the currently German occupied Denmark. Should it be deemed necessary, the country will take previously German territory as punishment for it's boldness." (Such as to not waste attack points, since Denmark only had 7 territories to begin with, if I get an attack count higher than 7 I'll use it to take german territory near Denmark) Edit: I feel I should put slightly more effort onto it, I'll do the maths. Do to terrible luck, this is mine: 0+52/10 = 5 The Germans lose 5 territories in Denmark.
  5. Allow me to make one thing clear. I prefer it this way, as I said in my initial comment, it would've been a pain for Maou to be in the side stories. Even if the visual novel did not state the why, it's better this way, as far as I care.
  6. Well, I didn't remember any such thing. If I knew the context and the timing of the quote perhaps I'd be able to speculate. As is, I'll just say that Maou had a spare heart stored away somewhere to put in use whenever Kyousuke fell in love.
  7. They can explain it however they want. The point here is, the visual novel makes no effort of its own to do so. He brought a whole town (or was it something smaller? Can't recall) to ruin and destroyed it., he killed endless amounts of people and he'd stop his plans because "Kyousuke found someone to spend his life with"? Somehow, I don't buy it.
  8. Doraemon, which was airing on television at the time. Digimon and Pokemon were too if I correctly recall... The first anime I actively tried to watch was Keroro Gunsou.
  9. Over the course of the whole game they indicated and hinted that Maou might be Kyousuke, Therefore, when the moment came I couldn't say I was to surprised to find out that assumption was mistaken. Actually, all I did was use my personal rule: "If my deprived brain can see the plot twist coming, then it's probably a double plot twist". That means, they hint that something might be up so obviously, that you just know it can't be that simple. Regarding his disappearance in the side routes. If all hell broke loose while Kyousuke was too busy flirting, we'd get stuck on a bad end, and you wouldn't want that, would you? He probably just phoned his dead brother and told him to hold the horses, we'd arrive at the true route quickly enough anyways.
  10. You are quite right, absolutely my fault. I had thought the initial summary mentioned that particular detail.
  11. Although I'm rather terrible at rating and describing my feelings toward a game, I shall attempt to do so on this particular circumstance. I believe the game is no masterpiece. It's a jolly good game, yes, but nowhere near my personal top. If you like stars, and legends regarding these, you'll enjoy quite a bit of this game. Alike many other games of this type, it has a supernatural element. It'll do you well if you like the heroine's personalities, there are 7 routes, 1 for each heroine: Asuho, Isuzu, Komomo, Kosame, Chinami, Yume and Mare. I personally like the protagonist. Unlike others, there's not much special about him, he's a really caring person that likes to tease his sister. He reacts to what comes his way in a manner you'd expect, that's why I believe him to be 'normal'. I congratulate you if you manage to decipher my mess of a thought train. I'm no specialist in visual novels, and I'm sure other people may be better at expressing their thoughts than me.
  12. Welcome to the forums! I see you are the opposite of me when it comes to bad ends... I avoid them like the plague, usually. Fret not, I am aware some bad ends are relevant to the story of a visual novel, I just really dislike them. Hope you enjoy your stay! Here, have an image:
  13. Let's see... as far as favourite food is concerned, it'd have to be spaghetti with sausages! Absolutely marvelous, I tell you. Now, for the main point... Welcome to the forums, and hope you enjoy your stay! As welcome, have an image!
  14. Because that totally fixes the problem. 'Yeah, I'm sure a bit of acting's gonna fool logic'
  15. The way you word that makes it look like you're reminiscing about something embarrassing... By no means does it offer any comfort, in fact, it does just the opposite, makes me feel like I committed a grave mistake... I give you 3/10 for trying though.
  16. *ahem* quick update. I've redone some of the lists to include more information, added a list, and in general they should be easier to read. I was never satisfied with them, but couldn't find the time to do some fixing. PS: I apologize for the double post, I kind of didn't notice...
  17. Ha, that's my view on the matter. It isn't particularly important since you put it under spoiler tags, so in the end, it does not make much of a difference.
  18. If you didn't mention the spoilers bit, it actually wouldn't be spoilers. You can spoil a whole games' story, but if you don't say what game it's from, the person may not make the connection and therefore wouldn't get spoiled. PS: Please pay no heed to my deviating from the matter at hand, coupled with my lack of a contribution to the topic.
  19. Let's see, out of what I've played (which isn't much at all)... You haven't mentioned 999 (which you've no doubt played, since you've played VLR), or Never 7 (its plot isn't as crazy as the others in the infinity series). Higurashi and Umineko have certainly interesting and intriguing plots, but their style is undoubtedly different from those you've mentioned. Hum... I wouldn't rely on me if I were you, other people may be much better informed about these kind of things.
  20. Yes, indeed... You started the same way I did! Haha G-Senjou is a good game, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Welcome to the forums! Hope you enjoy your stay. As for welcome gifts... here! Have an image:
  21. I'm currently playing Swan Song. I've started not to long ago and I've just arrived at the opening(?) video.
  22. Just look at the time! Not even the snail took this long. Expect to hear of this in your next month's salary assessment! On another note, I've kind of finished my VNDB list.
  23. You are quite right, I hadn't even noticed the spoiler. I'd recommend you do the same, because as it is now, you're the one spoiling other people.
  24. Brilliant reasoning! But that's all it is. Unfortunately for us, even if each person finds an explanation that satisfies them, we'll never be able to know what's actually going on. I'll just go for that now. Now, regarding the names in Ever 17 and Remember 11, although all this conjecture seems to line up. Having played Never 7 I can make no such connections at the current time... Never 7 takes place in 2019. Even though the order of the games goes as such: Never 7-Ever 17-Remember 11, the times goes as such 2019-2017-2011. And the main thing that connects them? ... I can't remember... The main thing connecting Ever 17 and Never 7
