How Global is Fuwa (What country do you actually reside in?)
Kenshin_sama replied to Zalor's topic in Members' Lounge
What a coincidence. I'm from Florida, and I've also contemplated on moving to Ohio. No idea what his reasons are, but I personally took interest in it because of the home economy and the fact that I know a few people that live there. The price of living in Ohio is MUCH more reasonable than living in Florida. I'd love to get away from the damn humidity in this state too. I actually didn't mind snow that much when I was in Kentucky and Texas. Living close to Ohayocon can also be a perk if you're into conventions. -

Okay then... I guess that was a bit longer than I expected. Still, props to ya for that choice of music. I mostly listen to catchy J-pop songs.

How do you read VNs (Stolen from reddit)
Kenshin_sama replied to solidbatman's topic in Visual Novel Talk
I'm pretty much relaxed at my desk when I read. I'll get my headphones on, start the game, lean back in my desk chair, kick one of my legs out and hold them up on the back of my desk, and keep my hands close to my waist while using a controller to advance the text. And if the game doesn't allow controller use, I'll open up Joytokey. I usually drink citrus green tea to keep my mind refreshed. -

Could be larger, but the design is sharp and I like the mood it illustrates. 7/10

Depends. If I'm making consistent progression in the game, I'll listen to its ost. If I'm grinding something for a long period of time (more than 1 hour), I'll listen to my own.

Eh, I prefer darker purple. Not sure why her mouth line fades out like that, but it gives me the impression that she's clamping down on her tongue really hard. Is that grey line on her left side a tattoo? Whoever got to put that on her is lucky. :3 If I'm not mistaken, there seems to be a slit in her choker for her hair to slip through, lol. Assuming it's able to hold it in, wouldn't that yank her hair a bit if she turned her head a certain way? /10 Sorry, I felt like being mean this time.

Hey Shizu. I'm having a few issues with my mouse and waiting for a few things to go through. Might actually be a little while. >.< I really miss playing, but damn my mouse is wonky. On the plus side, my fingers have made a full recovery. Also, has anyone checked this out yet? I know, I'm still a fanboy. :>

I'll be Catwoman then!

Not gonna lie, it use to bug the heck out of me whenever I referred to someone as a he when she turned out to be female, but I learned to deal with it since I'd feel worse asking for personal information. No need to provide your gender if you don't wanna. Plus, people can get really creepy sometimes. I remember one sorry individual who got kicked from my guild in WoW for hitting on one of our female members, so I understand the incentive to keep that information private (it can happen to males too). I like to think of online communities as an environment for others to make friends, share pertinent information, and partake meaningful discussions or debates. The only time gender should of relevant concern is if you're on some kind of dating site. Just keep it simple and talk like you normally would; no need to complicate things.

Man, this anime sort of through me in for a loop. If nothing else, Ore Monogatari has the best character cast I've seen in a shoujo anime. Takeo is surprisingly easy to grow attached to; he's a really odd guy, has a strong personality and incredibly kind-hearted. Cool-guy types tend to be kind of obnoxious in shoujo anime, but I do not get that vibe at all with Sunakawa. I really like how the story makes you feel a genuine sense of friendship between him and Takeo. I have a lot of respect and admiration for the heroine too. Oftentimes, I can't help but feel like most shoujo heroines have shallow feelings for the guys they fall in love with. There's a number of them that are just flat-out jerks, but the heroine will love him anyways because of the manly aura he gives off with his appearance. Not to say that deeper feelings won't develop afterwards, but it just doesn't feel right at the beginning. Takeo doesn't display those qualities at a glance, but he does when a situation allows him to reveal it, and Yamato is incredible for seeing how great he really is. On top of that, she is so cute and dere-dere that it just makes me feel all warm and happy inside. The thing I like about Yamato is that her personality isn't anything complex; she's a simple sweetheart that's pleasant to be with, and that also makes the relationship between her and Takeo that much more believable. It's explained in the anime that she's the type of girl that Takeo likes the most. The anime nails the chemistry between these two. It's small things like these that add so much to the enjoyment value. I'm glad the staff working on this have a good attention to detail when it comes to the characters. Most likely the best anime this season.

Same thing with Kiniro Mosaic although that one goes full yuri all the time. Seems like Honoka is coming into play, i want to see some more of her. Okay, I'm officially sold. Those two are just adorable. :3 And then there were 4. @_@

What Video Games Are You Playing Right Now?

You're doing the world a favor, Zeno. There's only so much you can get away with in game development, and Bloodbath Kavkaz crosses way too many lines. -
