  1. -Oops, ninja'd.- 7/10 I feel analyzed for some reason. ;_; I guess I'm a little "too small", aren't I? D:
  2. Making some progress on Mayuzumi's route. I'm actually getting a little bored of it, but it has some moments.
  3. Yep. Can't blame the studio for something the fansubbers did wrong, so it's definitely not the same thing. This kinda reminds me of how everyone blamed Sunrise for letting a dumb line go through in Valvrave when it was gg trolling with their rendition of the script.
  4. Yeah, I rarely hear this anime come up in a discussion. Actually a bit surprising when you consider how good its rating is on MAL. I probably would have never found this if I didn't randomly browse through anime produced by JC Staff (it use to be their highest rated anime before Bakuman 2/3 took over). Then I read some reviews, asked a few friends about it, and decided to give it a watch. I think I'll pick this up once I finish Baccano. Baccano's been interesting to watch so far. I actually had to force myself to stop watching so I can get ready for bed, lol. I'll likely be marathoning it tomorrow when I have more time. And my god, wtf is wrong with Ladd and why do I love him so much?
  5. Ouch, right in the childhood. Eh, it's fine. I guess not everyone's gonna take to it as well as I do. It's been too long for me to remember how the story went, but I thought the boss fights were really fun, and I thought it was kinda cool getting to take boss' forms when you beat them. I'm sure Godzilla's a great game, I just never really thought it had anything interesting going for it. There were times where he destroyed the city, and there were times where he was defending the city from another monster that was parading in on his destruction. I've always been more of a Spiderman or X-Men guy when it came to action. I feel that Godzilla is just a little too simple and straightforward in comparison. I've only played Harmony of Dissonance in the Castlevania series, and I thought it was pretty decent. There were a lot of times where I got really frustrated with the game, but my talents were a little bit lacking back in my middle school days. If I got back into it now, there's a chance I might like it more. Castlevania spoiler:
  6. Sorry, the special effects are too much for me.
  7. Made it to master tier at the very last minute in Crusaders Quest. I honestly didn't think I was gonna get it before the Colosseum reset, but holy crap I'm stoked that I did. I remember getting like 12 jewels for making it to gold tier last week, I wonder how much I'll get this time. Edit: Um, I got 15. ._. It's still something, lol.
  8. Yeah, I was thinking of something more along the lines of Baccano as well. Thanks, I'll give it a go.
  9. There's a number of shows I'm thinking of watching next right now, but I'm at a bit of an indecision as to which to pick. Here are the ones I'm most interested in right now. ef: A Tale of Memories Baccano Aria the Animation Nodame Cantabile Spice and Wolf Nana I'm gonna watch all of these at some point in time, but I'd just like to know which one I should get to first.
  10. P3 is somewhat similar to a VN, but I wouldn't consider it one. You'd be better off talking about it in the video game thread.
  11. A lot of people seem to regard it as a phenomenal work, and it's one of the untranslated VNs that I'm most interested in reading atm. It's promising enough that I would pick it up very shortly after a completed TL patch. I really like the art, and the soundtrack is amazing. Here's a more in-depth review of the work if you wanna read that. http://mdzanime.me/2014/07/28/aiyoku-eustia-versicolored-conflict-common-ardor/
  12. There's ups and downs to not having a social life. >.<
  13. There isn't a TL on EXH either. Chances are, if it's not there, it hasn't been translated. Might be worth asking an H scanlation group to pick it up. This was uploaded 5 months ago, so there might not be anyone willing to work on this without commission. But this is cute, and not too long, so you have a shot.
  14. For retro, I'd like to nominate Mega Man X. I can't remember which one I played, but Mega Man was my favorite game for the NES. I kinda skipped from NES to N64, so I never got to play any SNES games. I don't believe I've played any modern games that fit the bill, so I'll just leave that you guys. :> Good opportunity to try something different.
  15. Chocolate pudding pie with ice cream for dessert tomorrow! Haven't had that stuff in a long time. Got some ham, potatoes, and all that good stuff as well, but I'm mainly looking forward to the pie. You guys got any plans for Easter tomorrow?
  16. Oh dear. >.< Confession: Thanks to anime, I can no longer eat popsicles without feeling awkward.
  17. I have a PS3 and a decent gaming computer that can play most games on mid-high settings. I can handle emulating PS2 games just fine and I wouldn't mind playing games on Steam. My budget will let me spend $30-ish on a game per month.
