Well someone cannot possibly be fully objective. It is simply stupid to say that anything is completely objective. Something as basic as looking at a scenery(any beautiful sight like waterfall, mountains, etc.) is completely different for two people looking at it at the same time. So expecting full objectivity in a story is nigh impossible. First of all I added all the translated vns which I haven't read yet to my 'wishlist'. Since I don't pass the 100+ vn requirement (still at 20+) I can't ask you add my top vns. But I would like to know what you didn't like in them. My top vns are basically the ones I have rated 10/10 namely - Little Busters! and Steins;Gate.

If you like mind-screw then you should like Chaos;Head. There is a lot of paranoia so be prepared. Also I would advise you to not have any expectations from the protag, you should assume from the start that he will always try to run away(but again that is what a sensible person would do rather than getting involved in some sinister/dangerous stuff), and it is a bit hard to bear his severe lack of social skills. Despite the protag being unlikable, his character is one of the things that makes the game unique and as good a mind-screw it is. Also you should go back and do a quick run-through of S;G, after reading C;H. All those hidden references are a pleasure to see. I would also recommend Cross+Channel. It isn't exactly sci-fi but I think it will suit your needs.

Most heroines being virgin. Over-powered protagonist who is fully badass. Yeah worthy opponents along with the old 'rival' trope. I especially like it when it shows that there are 2 friends who became rivals/enemies and they both are the most powerful chars, and the epic fight that follows is pure bliss.

Just watched the Index Movie. It was well worth the watch. The animation was very good, the best in all of Toaru series. The plot was good considering that it's just a side-story. Gah all this stuff makes me want to give up on waiting for season 3 and to read the LN .........

Completed Railgun S With this I have completed the Toaru series. Railgun S and Index 2 were much better than their prequels. Railgun and Index were just ok, and I had to sit through those 50 eps to get to the great part. But with all that being said I really am looking forward for Index 3. Watching Madan no Ou to Vanadis.

I was looking for a dark protag and decided to read Hanachirasu, I'll be downloading and playing it in a few days, so I guess we both will be reading it.

This season I have my eyes on Ansatsu Kyoshitsu, Death Parade, Junketsu no Maria(Production IG) and World break(random normal anime I got interested in, though after watching the teaser don't have much expectations of it). For Ansatu Kyoshitsu, the summary doesn't seem too interesting but many people are talking about it. Is it really as good as people say? I was wondering if I should watch Death Parade while it airs or marathon it afterwards, any suggestions?

F/ha is in the line behind F/extra and tsukihime. I have decided that my next Type-Moon vn will be Tsukihime but I can't seem to get in the mood to get to it. Not to mention the graphics .......

I'm near the end of Railgun S and was wondering if I should watch the Index movie: Endymion no Kiseki.

I'll probably read swan song after a while. I decided to go with Hanachirasu. I will mostly read Kikokugai after that. Since I do like to see unique stuff, I will be sure to read it once it's translated.

Yeah I should get around to downloading/setting up the emulators ........

Hanachirasu and Kikokugai are the ones I'm considering.

7 Not bad but not too great either

A little help people. I made a thread in the recommendation but couldn't get much replies.

Such incidents just remind me the pain of not knowing japanese. Do you know any other vn along the same lines ?
