Hello, everyone! Rose here, bringing you the first official recognition team post. A few weeks ago this kickstarter was announced on the forums. It is a korean visual novel originally made for the iOS and released back in 2010. It has an interesting story and in their testimonial, lots of people suggests that this novel is clearly going to give you some nice feels. I'll copy paste a bit of their introduction below, so if you enjoy it, check their kickstarter page. Furthermore, if you like it, consider backing them up. The next stretch goal will give Lucy a japanese voice acting, with 6 days to go and two thousand dollars away from it, any kind of support will be surely more than welcome. Lastly, if you want someone to talk about Lucy with you, there's a thread in the Ongoing Projects board, so feel free to comment there. Thanks a lot to the team for making such a good looking VN and what I believe to be an amazing story. (Images and text taken from the kickstarter page) Lucy -The eternity she wished for- is a Visual Novel, about a boy and an android. You play as the boy, who faces decisions and moral dilemmas in this near-future world. Depending on your choices, the life of this boy will lead in many different directions. The game is a remake which was originally released back in 2010 in Korea, and highly praised for its great story. It has been redone for the international audience, with greatly improved graphics and streamlined storyline. If any of you have doubts about how good this game is going to be, doubt no more. In the genre of visual novels, the quality of story-telling is very important for most gamers. Lack of story-telling in games often leads to a lot of dissatisfaction and makes many gamers feel like they’ve wasted their time in supporting it. We know that everyone has different tastes and we can’t satisfy everyone, but there’s one thing we can say. This is a story that has touched many hearts and continues to have a strong impact on those who partake in this compelling journey. We as a team believe that the most important aspect of a visual novel is not simply pretty drawings or a great story, but the combination of both, in harmony to create a memorable experience which will last long after the game is completed. With the experience we've gained and the many hours spent making the first game, we have been diligently working to refine and perfect the new 'Lucy'.

I'll have the members decided until tomorrow, so if anyone feels like applying, please do so ASAP. I know it was a really short duration but I don't wanna delay things too much.

As the Recognition Team Leader, I'm supposed to make a team to help me scout and highlight stuff, since keeping up with all the Fuwa programs and boards might be a bit hard to a semi-busy person like me alone. I'll be taking 2 volunteers right now, more than that would be overkill since it's a completely new project. As of now, I'm still talking with Tay about how we should approach the program, but I believe that everything will start really soon. That said, the same requirements that I had to meet will apply to whoever wants to be part of the team. Those are: Follow the forums fairly closely (not obsessively, but you have a pulse for the posters and the new content each week) Willing to learn about all the other Fuwa programs (front site, blog, reviews, moderation, and history) You want to highlight cool people and cool stuff! People deserve warm fuzzies! Self-motivated Be willing to put up with my failings and walls of text : P (This was Tay to the Leader, but the same applies from me to you ) If you want to apply, contact me through a PM on the forums. It doesn't have to be anything fancy, just let me know why you're interested in the job, if you have mixed feelings about anything regarding it and if you're okay with the requirements.

Sakura Sakimashita Part 2: Common route, Miyako
Rose commented on Clephas's blog entry in Clephas' VN home
I'm slowly falling in love with this VN just by how you're describing it. I'm specially interested in Miyu and Sumire. The blog is great so far. Thanks for doing these, Clephas. -
You could try looking for something in Marie's list. If you want a blind recommendation, then I'd say If My Heart Had Wings is quite good and you could take a look at Grisaia no Kajitsu as well.

Welcome.
-
Just leave your mouse on top of it and you'll see the list. It's probably bugged, but you can make it work that way.
-
Cross Channel is the closest I know to what you're looking for. Consider giving it a try.

No idea where to post this, but I just noticed that the awards section is now available so go check it out. I don't know when it happened but since there was no mention to it, I decided to make a thread about it.

Hello, everyone! I'm Rose and I'll be in charge of the Recognition Team, which consists of me and myself so far. I'll be looking for more members soon so if you're interested in helping me, keep an eye out for announcements on the "Help us Out" board. Tay's post pretty much explained what will be done by the team so I guess I'll be only sharing some info about me. I've been reading VNs for almost a year now and I've been in love with the medium since my first contact with it. Guess what? Yeah, my first one was Katawa Shoujo. I decided to volunteer because I believe that lots of cool people and projects, even the less noticed personal ones, deserve some recognition, so trying to be part of the team was the natural course of action. I don't really have much more to talk about me other than misc info which you can find on my profile, so I'll stop here. Now, as for what you can expect from me and the team. Primarily, we plan to highlight projects and threads as well as individuals who deserve it. As the team leader, I'll make sure some quality standards are met to when posts are constructed, as well as work on additional methods to thank all the amazing people we have on the VN community as a whole.

Got a 400~450 combo twice on the JP event. Also got 2nd place twice, first for a guy who did a 140 and then to a 98. Fuck this event, I'm kindly raging right now. (/¯◡ ‿ ◡)/¯ ~ ┻━┻
