You started liking the art because it has adult content?

Ok, I don't really know what else to add in the quote, but you can check everything in the indiegogo page. It gets kinda hard to understand stuff because of the author's english, but it looks like a nice project. I'm considering backing it. I need help creating a sub-forum about Visual Novels
Rose replied to kongaii's topic in Members' Lounge
I don't think I have anything like you asked, but maybe one of these could work. Otherwise, the best I could find was this thing from Oreimo, which technically should fit perfectly. Be sure to link us the forum, though. -
I haven't even finished the original one but I'm trying to throw my money at the screen for the remake. I don't know if it'll happen, but I seriously hope so, Tsukihime is simply awesome.

The routes themselves are filled with moments you could call depressing, you can tell that much from the synopsis. The good ends are mostly actually good, specially Sachi's end. Now for the bad ends, I'd say that they might be a bit heavy depending on how much you get attached to the girls, but honestly, one of them don't have a bad end at all, one is pretty disturbing, one is dumb so whatever, the other two are regular bad ends - though still packing a punch in quality.

New Project: Threads you should check out
Rose posted a topic in Community Coordination and Feedback
Greetings and salutations! I am Rose, leader of the recognition team and I'm here to announce our new project, whose name you can see just above. What is it? This will be a weekly Fabulous on Fuwa post, containing a list of threads and blog posts made this week that you should check out. What's the purpose of this project? We have two reasons for doing it. First of all, there are lots of threads that technically fit the "should be highlighted" criteria used to decide what the team will be writing about, but making a whole post about them would definitely be overkill and just flood the blog. With that in mind, we started thinking about a way to give them recognition while not butchering our quality standards, which leads us to the second reason: availability of the members. Not everyone browse the forums every single day of the week for 12 hours, so people will naturally miss a thread or two, then to help you guys while also solving our problem, this project was born. Which threads and blog posts will be highlighted? We're dividing the list in categories, so whatever fit them is likely to get a spot. Those are: Discussion - Any thread that's trying to setup a discussion or that can generate one by its content. This is not limited only to the Visual Novel Talk board, though it'll be likely from there that we'll get most threads for this category. Announcement - This one is for new project threads such as Manor of Amnesia; devs threads announcing their stuff; VN related tools (e.g TyranoBullder) and basically anything similar to what was mentioned just now. Staff Announcement - Any kind of announcement made by the staff, such as the recently announced award's system overhaul and vntl moon. Lists - Well, duh. We're likely not getting many under this category but I believe it's a relevant one and should at least exist. Guides - Same case as above. Games/Giveaways - Any kind of forum activities (e.g Ren's kancolle avatar group) and/or giveaways. Other Discussion board - Any kind of thread on the O.D board that might be interesting in a way, just keep in mind that absolutely nothing from The Coliseum of Chatter will be allowed here. Blog posts - Interesting blog posts, such as Rooke's writing critique about sakura spirit or Lino's first untranslated route. This is similar to the "Discussion" category but blogs work on a different way than forums, so I believe it's reasonable to divide them. Reviews hub/ Blog reviews (?) - We're not sure yet, but we might add these if we receive a positive feedback on the idea. So anything made before this week won't ever be highlighted? On regular circumstances? Yes. Can we make exceptions? Yes. If something happens on the thread that could be considered a "new feature" or something like that, then we'll consider adding it to the week's list. As an example, if I update my Grisaia analyses thread with a new route, the thread has now something new that was made this week, fitting the purpose of this project. When will the list be posted? Saturday, always. Some people might see them Friday or Sunday due to time zones, but probably not by much. We chose it because people are busy during weekdays and usually use their Saturday to go party, hang out with friends and all that, so Sunday is likely everyone's "I won't do shit today" day. Posting it Saturday allows you guys to have the list ready for Sunday regardless of time zones, so I believe it's the best choice. This week will have a really basic post since I didn't had time to finish the banners and all that. Some of you might be aware that I simply love using images and delaying posts because of aesthetics, so normally I wouldn't ever consider starting the project before having everything done, but as this week was filled with good threads, I can't simply ignore them. The first list should be live in a few hours, so keep an eye out for it. Feedback is definitely welcome, so if you have anything to say about the project, please tell us. -
Will you read a VN without voice acting? Does it bother you?
Rose replied to Mugi's topic in Visual Novel Talk
I think voice-acting is something that adds a lot to the experience, so it's relevant to me. Now, that does not means that I loathe VNs without voice acting, hell, I'm reading Tsukihime and I'm in love with it despite the audio issues, not to mention how much I love Katawa Shoujo. Judging the nature of the medium, I feel like voice acting is something that can only add to the work. Something I want to mention, is that I'd rather either have no voice acting at all or it full voiced than only some parts. I read The Second Reproduction and only having some parts voiced was really weird and while it wasn't bad, in fact, some voiced parts were outstanding, I think it's the worst choice possible. You know, go big or go home. -
Someone found it, huh.

Pretty much what Rooke said. Highlight only the few most obvious reasons and that's it. It is?

Hello everyone, Rose here bringing you a post relevant to all Fuwa users. As we all know, the site went through a lot of changes lately and lots of people are still a bit lost about things, so to make everything clear, Tay made a really big post explaining his plans for the future, a summary of some new features planned and much more, so be sure to read it even if you're not confused, for you might actually learn about more stuff to come. Together with that, Eclipsed made a comprehensive list of the recent changes, and it brings you all the links you might possibly need to check if you're late for the party. Huge thanks to Tay for making a really clear and enlightening statement, and to Eclipsed for his great list of changes. Those two are surely going to help a lot of members understand the current situation.

Hello everyone! Rose here, bringing you guys a bigger post than usual to give some proper recognition to an amazing member of our community. If you've already seen the beautiful gentleman to the left (Click on the picture to enlarge it), chances are that you've also used or at least saw someone using an avatar/signature with that face on the forums. If not, then let me introduce him to you. OriginalRen is our highlighted member today, he's a member of the Leadership Council, a VN delivery boy, creator, producer, performer and entertainer. He not only works hard as part of the staff, but he's also an amazingly generous person who hosts a lot of giveaways, as well as the host of many entertaining activities and cool projects around the forums. Listed below are some of his finest works. From official Fuwa projects to personal ones, all of them are ultimately focused toward making this a better and more enjoyable place for everyone. OriginalRen's VN Mail Call!/Fuwanovel Mail Call!/OriginalRen's VN Ordering Service (The inconsistency is real with this project's name) - Have you ever wanted a physical copy of your favorite VN but never got it due to high prices? Then how about getting them straight from Japan and by paying no more than what you would for a console game in the US? Ren offers himself as a delivery boy and will ship you figures, vns or general goods you might wish for reasonable prices. He also recently made a small list informing some cheap deals you can get. Tutorial: How to Run a Pulltop Game - For whatever reason, Pulltop games require you not only to change your unicode settings to Japanese in order to play them. As a more experienced person with the company, he made a quick guide explaining how to Run them. Fuwanovel's Contribution/Participation Recognition System (AKA: CPR) - Together with Nosebleed, Ren is responsible for making and handing out award badges to the community. You can check their amazing work right here. Let's Play a Visual Novel! - This guy loves his stream, not only he plays random games but he also streams untranslated VNs with friends from time to time, so if you're interested in any of those, go watch him stream or check his VODs if it's a complete/postponed VN. Giveaways and games - Did I already mentioned that this guy hosts a lot of giveaways? Well, while some of them are spontaneous, most of them require you to take part in an activity of some sort. Together with his generosity, he always finds ways to entertain the community by making forum games with great prizes for the winner(s). Fuwacast - The official Fuwa podcast and its many series are all hosted by this guy as well. Among them, there are discussions about some VNs, community introductions and a lot more. For all that and a lot more, we can only thank Ren for being all he is to Fuwa. And to end this post, let's have a word from our admin, Tay. (As a friendly easter egg and advice, a bit less of salt would do you good <3) There really isn't any way to adequately recognize all that Ren's done for Fuwanovel. All I can say is you've got a gift, Ren. You've done some amazing things and made this a really fun place to hang out. I feel lucky to be friends, and Fuwanovel is lucky to have you here. - Tay

But on the bright side, I got myself a sweet sweet total of >one< 1st place in around 60 score match songs. Around 5~7 last places and all the rest were 2nd places.
