  1. It's always nice to see what people thought about things you both read, my analysis even got mentioned, much honor. People tend to complain about Sakashita's (the hunter) sudden appearance but they explained from where he came from, and come on, is it really that weird? People appear out of nowhere even in real life, it's not that uncommon. In fact, I think it's more of an unexpected event than a diabolus ex machina. Same for Nyanmel, I don't think it was over-dramatic, she was truly scared of forming bonds with others because she feared that kind of thing happening, that might have been the part with the greatest emotional impact in her route for me. I also disliked Sachi's route bad/good ending choice, I ended with the bad one but in my mind, 'kill myself' would mean killing the she who saw her mother as the cause of her nightmares. And yeah, the bad end was literally bad, extremely rushed and in the end, it didn't even felt that bad, it was simply shallow.
  2. In general, I dislike discussing about the so called 'free will', lots of theories are made, lots of theories fail, some get credibility, some are believed to be true by people, but we just can't really prove it. I'd rather think that we do have it, don't you think it'd be pretty lame for your whole life to have been predetermined either by some kind of superior existence or by fate itself? Following instincts and not following them are also kind of our free will. Imagine your friend being attacked by some kind of dangerous animal, you can either run away or try to save your friend. Your instincts tell you to run, you know that animal is dangerous and it's telling you to avoid it, but in the end it's your choice to abide to it. The reason I dislike discussing this is not because it's something that we can't really get a true answer, but because it's something I don't think the answer would change anything to me. I prefer thinking I make my decisions, but even if it's not the case:
  3. Just re-read One Piece's marine ford arc. Decided to make something for my favorite character of the series, might use as a sign, I just loved how simple it ended.
  4. I'll second Berserk, my absolute favorite manga - 336 chapters, mid-age fantasy, not gonna get into too many details, I'd go forever here. Vagabond - 322 chapters, about samurais, it gets slow sometimes but it's always for a good reason. Konjiki no Gash Bell - 323 chapters, complete. Lots of action and lots of comedy, you might dislike depending on your taste for comedy. I'll also second History Strongest Disciple Kenichi - 579 chapters, martial arts with some awesome fights and lots of comedy. Beelzebub - 240 chapters, I'll assume this much is enough to be considered long. It got a really nice balance between action and comedy, it's awesome on both but it's comedy is god-tier IMO.
  5. Really hard question, I'm between Guts from Berserk: or Kamina from Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann Both are incredible male characters and I can't simply not admire them. But I guess Kamina would be my final choice, he's the kind of person with who I'd have lots of fun doing some stupid things and getting into trouble.
  6. I'm actually scared of traps, I mean, dude look at that Yohane girl(?), look at how adorable that is, how would anyone ever suspect it was a trap? Btw, where's she from?
  7. Oh well, gonna leave my absolute favorites here. FELT is life. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lHTQfwLKqAM
  8. Not sure if these ones classify as touhou remixes, but there is touhou in the middle, I'll take the risk. Two of my favorites: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Qven-8AB9A
  9. That's Kaoru, she's not a virgin, however.
  10. As long as it was born from another one, it's basically enough to be called a human. That's from a biological point of view, as a matter of fact, there are some controversies regarding things like "Are anencephalic child worth considering a human life?"; "People with brain damage/People in vegetative state who are supposedly unable to live a normal (by the general standard) live, should be treated as humans?". Either way, the I think that biologically speaking, cloning is the most questionable thing when you ask yourself about what is a human being. If you want to know psychologically, it's probably impossible. I think that things like morals and values are not an accurate way to judge whether or not someone is "worth" being called a human. Those are things created by us and for some reason, accepted as a reality. If someone has a higher tendency than average to murder or rape, is he really an inhuman monster because of that? Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to say those actions are fine, but that they are not something that should earn someone the title of monster. Unfortunately, I can't think of a way to define a human being, but I can think of many overused ways that don't. Also, congrats on making these threads, Shiro-chan. It's really interesting to have some good discussions now and then.
  11. As people already suggested, you can help doing anything. Even by just giving feedback on projects and stuff you're already helping in a way. I can't translate from JP-EN but I'm in a EN-BR group right now, if you know any other language, maybe you could help like this. There's lots of ways, just give it you best in whatever you do.
  12. I'll suggest Ayakashibito and Cross Channel, both very good titles. Ayakashibito got some really nice action. Cross Channel plot is good, one of the best ones I've read. (not that I've read many, but oh well)
  13. Really? I think the bad end was so much better plot quality wise. That's weird, you're the first person I've seen that preferred the good end over the bad end.
  14. Please don't skip it, trust me, it's fantastic. Even if it's a bad end, there's so much to it.
  15. Wait, Teddy is a trap? I always saw him(?) as a cute bear thing, oh my god, disaster.
  16. Welcome to Fuwa!
  17. I still got mixed feelings about comforting her. Shizune was never my favorite girl but that bad end was horrible.
  18. Saishuu Heiki Kanojo - Sci-fi and romance with drama, i only read the manga but a friend told me it pretty much follows the same road. It's a really good mix of the three. I'll second Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann for the sake of... seconding it? It was a really great show, it probably won't suit you well since you're not into action but I'll just reinforce the message that it's good. Also you gave Sukitte Ii Na Yo a 10, you just got yourself a friend.
  19. Welcome to Fuwa! I've been reading VNs for 6 months and you already got half of what I read, I should really start reading again. Btw, who's that on your signature? She seems familiar.
  20. I hated Kenji so fucking much in the beginning but at some point, I couldn't hate him anymore. He had some moments to shine, probably it was during LIly's route. But yeah, his route is funny even if you hate him.
  21. I'll join it because KLK jk. I haven't read many but I'll give it a try.
  22. Rose

    Bishounen

I guess it'd be the manly big and strong male, for example: Sakaki Shio - History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi On a side note, Kenichi also got some bishounens. Fuurinji Saiga - History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi
  23. The one I enjoyed the most was Grisaia no Kajitsu, but I'd say my absolute favorite was Saya no Uta, an absolute masterpiece. How I found it? A friend of mine used to bully me because I loved Katawa Shoujo, he then said something like: "You're into crippled girls, I wouldn't be surprised if you liked Saya no Uta". From that, he explained me in a way that made it look like a pure gore dumb novel, I got interested and I can't thank him enough for showing it to me.
  24. Color-light wise, it is since it absorbs every ray of light but doesn't reflects any of them. It's the opposite when color-pigment wise.
