Hello and welcome to Fuwan!.. I've played my first VN in July or August (couldn't really remember ^^), and I've also just read quit a few (maybe around 7?) I also have been thinking about learning Japanese due to the fact that many awesome-looking VNs are still in Japanese language.. And even though there are a lot of people doing translations, these jobs still take a lot of work and time, so the VNs just keep piling up.. Again, welcome and have a good time here ^^..

Good day everyone!.. I am currently very interested in Little Busters!.. And from what I heard there is a ecstasy patch (EX) that adds a few routes and CGs, as well as H scenes for the game.. I've also heard that the story just the same as the original (all ages version).. And I was thinking if I could just play the EX version instead of the original one.. So does anyone have any info regarding the translation of the EX patch? Any response is much appreciated.. ^^

May I ask how far have you reached so far in playing this game? G Senjou no Maou is my first VN, and as for me, I really enjoyed it!.. The story is full of twists, turns, and unexpected developments, from the time that Maou appeared all the way to the VN's ending.. Hope I did my spoiler right ^^

Hmmm.. It is not that complicated as Naruto, Bleach or One Piece.. (as of now) The story is very much straightforward.. Not much fillers, especially after the SAO part.. Well, overall, I think it is quite good.. The concept is quite unique (The only same concept that I know is the Greed Island Arc in Hunter X Hunter).. Also, this concept was made to be more interest because of the features of the SAO game.. Hmm.. If you do not get what I am saying (seems that my statements are quite vague), just try to watch SAO.. You would understand quite a lot just by seeing its first ep ^^..

Wow!.. And here I am, remembering updates and stuff while forgetting things about school.. You're such a lucky one! By the way, Welcome to Fuwan.. ^^

Wow! That was really nice! The music and all! I am interested to try it! Does it have an English version?? Hmm.. On second thought, I may not be able to clear that game.. I really suck at shooting games.. ^^

Hello and welcome! ^^ Fuwan is indeed the perfect place for those who enjoy VNs and yet not able to read Japanese, like us.. Hope you enjoy it here! ^^ And don't be afraid to ask for anything.. The Fuwan community seems very kind and they'll help you in any way they can ^^ (myself included ^^) Again, welcome! ^^

Here's another welcome to you! ^^ I have played very little of the FSN VN, but I have watched the anime, with Fate Zero and the UBW movie, and I'd say I really loved it ^^.. As for VN talks, I'd came Fuwan for the same reason, and I am really enjoying! ^^ Being with people who shares the same interest is quite an experience.. Well, welcome again! ^^

Well, I have only little experience with VNs so I don't know a lot of them that provides no routes.. Though a comparison may be Tomoyo After, which has very few options that would change the storyline (I think).. But still I really liked it, because the storyline is so deep and well written.. So as for the necessity of routes, I think it is not a necessity, as one story with a single ending isn't at all a bad thing.. Still, I think many would prefer having routes on VNs, as it entices your gaming experience.. ^^

Well, though I played only a few games, I'll say that I found a great deal of romance in Clannad, as well as Tomoyo Afterstory.. I guess you can guess who my favorite character in terms of romance is (*ahem! TOMOYO SAKAGAMI! *ahem!)

Haha.. I'm 18 and though I've dated someone once, as of the moment, I am losing interest.. It just seems so bothersome.. I hope real life would just offer choices like VNs do.. Then, life would be much more interesting ^^

I'll get to it eventually ^^.. I just want to download many interesting VNs before the Christmas vacation starts.. So during vacation time I'll just play through them ^^.. I still have about 6 uncleared VNs, including Little Busters, Hoshimemo, and Sharin no Kuni, Himawaru no Shoujo.. Though I am saying this, I already started Hoshimemo, and it was awesome!.. I was hooked right from the get go ^^.. Though I can't say much, it is definitely worth a try, and I'm sure others would agree with me.. I have seen very little of Narcissu, but I think it would be quite good.. Its storyline seems fairly unique, is it not?.. Oh well, I'll learn about it as soon as I play though it ^^..

I've downloaded Narcissu just yesterday, but I might not be able to start playing it in a while.. My VNs are kinda piling up.. and I am still currently downloading Hoshimemo as of the moment.. The download was taking a damn long time and it is still at 64%.. Though it is understandable, I know the VN community would appreciate someone trying to make a non-romantic VN that would be equally as good as it's romance-oriented predecessors.. ^^ And I as well would be willing to have the experience of playing through it.. Kinda exciting ^^

I don't think romance is an ABSOLUTE necessity in VNs.. Rather it is much about preference rather than necessity.. Like any other literary formats, VNs can be written with in any genre, though romance seems to be the most common of all, because maybe, it is the one that sells.. The developers may not been able to develop non-romantic VNs because they did not want to gamble on different genres.. Though personally, I prefer VNs with a good plot and concept which provides a good environment for the development of the romance.. Also, since I am a hopelessly romantic person, I just love reading romance VNs, and I shall agree with steverowland that VN is much greater than real life ^^

There are many animes I have liked over the past years, like Detective Conan, FMA:Brotherhood, One Piece, Bleach and Fairy tail (especially the current mage battle arc in the manga ^^) among others.. But right now my fave has to be Sword Art Online.. It's a really good one, though it still hasn't ended yet.. I am also planning to read the light novel after the anime ceased serialization.. I also like High School DxD.. Apart from the 18+ content, it's story has a good line for development.. And if you happen to read the light novels (like myself), you would be impressed even more.. ^^

Nice blog.. As for someone who also likes to post short writings (though not on a blogspot or wordpress blog), I was really impressed.. Keep posting more! I'll be sure to follow it ^^

I'm currently playing Cross Channel, Sharin no Kuni, Himawari no Shoujo and Ever17.. Also wrapping up Katawo Shoujo, though I believe I'm almost done clearing all routes.. I'll say Katawa Shoujo is one of the best I've played.. It's unique storyline and even more unique characters, aside from the lack of voice actor (my first VN without one), makes it a lot different than others I've played thus far ^^

Hahaha! Can't stop laughing about myself after seeing that edit button.. hahaha! ^^ While I have not able to continue playing F/SN, I still love it's storyline (having watched the anime, Fate Stay Night and Fate Zero), and I also like Arthuria ^^ Still, in VN format, it seems it is not my cup of tea.. Anyway, thank you for you regards, sir ^^ I'll hop I would be able to learn much here ^^
