Well, as someone with depressive tendencies, I actually usually don't mind an overly-angsty character. She was just... boring. Like, her way of handling her emotions was to become a nothing, I guess. Major spoilers for Sharin no Kuni ahead. No seriously, if you haven't read it, don't open this!

I like Yumiko. She's the 2nd best character in Grisaia.

Just finished Natsumi's chapter in Sharin no Kuni, and yeah, she hasn't grown on me yet. But I've just started the final chapter and this game is freaking rad.

I've been listening to this song pretty much on repeat since I found it. I realize that the guy's voice is pretty off-putting for most people, but you get used to it pretty quick and I feel like it really fits the disturbing/sarcastic lyrical style.

I just finished Touka's chapter of Sharin no Kuni, and wow. This game is really something. I still prefer Sachi's so far. Natsumi is the heroine I'm least interested in so far. I hope they can turn me around on this one.

I have some pretty specific tastes. My absolute favorite band is this indie band from New Jersey called The Front Bottoms. They're kind of... acoustic punk, I guess? Think Violent Femmes but a little bit calmer. This is my absolute favorite song.

Man, I wish High School DxD had a VN form. Though judging by how insanely long the light novels have gone on for, the story would take way too long to wrap up in a VN. But still. Rias. <3

I've started trying to learn Japanese, too. I found this for learning how to pronounce the hiragana characters, and I'm starting to get the hang of it. I am wanting to start kicking my learning into a higher gear, soon,though.

I know it's typical, but chest all the way. I've only ever dated girls with big boobs. That's not to say that I wouldn't date someone without them, they'd just have to have a really really attractive face to make up for it. I sound like such a shallow tool. I swear that I'm not, I just... you know, sexual attraction is an important part of having a healthy relationship. If I like everything about a girl but don't find her at all attractive, then that relationship isn't going to end up being very fulfilling. That said, I've been single for a whole year now and it's killing me to the point that I know I'm going to end up lowering my standards for the next girl I date. Sigh.

I'm thinking about replaying an older Layton game too, as the puzzles in Professor Layton vs Phoenix Wright were terrible. I'd probably go with Unwound Future, though. I loved that game. As for what I'm playing right now, I'm too deep in Sharin no Kuni to really engage myself with too much else, but I did recently finish both Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright and Dishonored. Dishonored is a really cool game. I think I'm totally going to buy all the DLC now.

Personally, I think it depends on the story. In a lot of cases, I think it's extremely out of place. Like, I feel like G Senjou no Maou didn't need H scenes at all. However, something lighthearted can have them in without feeling too out of place. Then there are the in-between cases, where the sexual content is actually relevant to the story, I think those are the best situations for H content. But then you end up in situations like Fate/Stay Night where the H content is not only completely unnecessary, but it's also just disturbing.

I have no issues with it, as long as it's not computer-intensive.

Well thanks for the heads up. Is Tears to Tiara worth playing? I don't have anything lined up after I finish Sharin.

Though you're totally going to wear out your skip button on Chinami. Still worth playing. I also suggest Katawa Shoujo. It was my first real VN as well, and (though I have some specific circumstances that have lead to this opinion) I think its fantastic.
