  1. Those are actual CGs in SubaHibi. There is Yuri but mostly only at the very beginning (though there are a few scenes somewhere in the later part of the VN too). The rest of the H-content goes into rather extreme territory, I guess with a few "vanilla" scenes here and there. Dat epic genius 10/10 masterpiece story tho~ (*‿*✿)
  2. I can vouch for theboxcarracer, as Tsukihime is truly a classic. If you can get over the dated aesthetics, then you're in for quite the legendary story. Tsukihime was also one my first Visual Novels, as well (well not really, but it was my second after F/SN, in which I liked Tsukihime more). I really can't wait for a remake of the work to be finished someday... (*‿*✿)
  3. Hello Vario, and welcome to this wonderful world of Fuwanovel~ (*‿*✿) No need to worry, you have great English from what I've just seen. Although, I'm not really a good judge of that being that my English is relatively faulty as well. I can tell you put effort into your words and sentences, and it came out all nicely (even to the trained eye). If you want to practice your writing/speaking, then doing so here is the best idea and it'll help you improve immensely. I've been doing the same here myself, and it has helped me a ton as well! ^w^ Also, your wishlist is amazing and filled with many, many amazing titles. Since you're learning Japanese, which untranslated Visual Novel are you most interested in or want to be able to read first?
  4. Of course I won't say anything about the story, but:
  5. Now you're making me want to read Subarashiki Hibi again. xD If I did, it'd be the 5th time I'd be reading it... H-hehehehehe... *obsessed* (❀◦‿◦) In any case, glad to see you're enjoying it. Sca-自 is a genius~ Regarding Cross+Channel... pretty sure the difficulty lies within the original script and maybe partly through the shoddy translation. Mostly the script since Romeo deliberately writes in a roundabout method that is rather unconventional in comparison to anything else. That's what makes him and his works great to read through, though. (*‿*✿) By the way, I'd recommend Kazoku Keikaku, as it's a pretty great eroge indeed written by Romeo. Well, I'm not sure, but I think Kana Imouto wasn't completely written by him... I could be wrong since I never looked into that one specifically. Also, I do understand that you're not looking for anything untranslated, but I will say this because I'm currently reading it myself and have to let it be known. xD The eroge 'Saihate no Ima' is a spectacular work written by him that I feel surpasses or is at least on par with Cross+Channel. It's the most "Romeo-ish" thing I've read and its complexity is beyond anything else out there (except I/O of course, but wasn't he only a sub-writer to that?). Definitely recommend it for anyone pursuing Romeo if they're a huge, huge fan. Or like you said, if one's taking a "Tanaka Romeo journey".
  6. Aria is just one of those absolute high-quality wonderful experiences. For me, the message to it was just phenomenal in every essence of its being (also given it's the exact same message that's contained in one of my all-time favorite Visual Novels!). You simply cannot go wrong with watching Aria, so as long as you watch it at a pace that seems as if you're on a relaxing tour yourself. I miss it already, and usually listen to a piece of the soundtrack or re-watch specific episodes once in a blue moon. (*‿*✿)
  7. Skimming through F/HA so I can laugh again from the viewpoint of a different language. It's extremely effective, in more ways than one. I'll actually get back to Saihate no Ima when my brain manages to reform from the previous implosion it experienced reading this eroge. Seriously, Saihate is not for the faint of heart for those who're sensitive to the "mindscrew" element (or just the "I simply do not understand anything in this eroge" element). Warning properly set in place, I now return to entertainment!
  8. My favorites are: The entire Subarashiki Hibi OST, but let's just stick with the classics. The entire Umineko no Naku Koro ni OST. The entire Kitto, Sumiwataru Asairo Yori mo OST. Drink some milktea while listening to this for full immersion. Well, there you have it. MUCH more where that came from, and some honorable mentions would be in place... if I did follow such a principle. (*‿*✿)
  9. It's only a short-lived satisfaction to just know something and be content with knowing it... but to instead experience it, is perhaps an eternal satisfaction of sorts. (*‿*✿)

  10. Do not worry, fellow SubaHibi reader... Yuki may be the coolest main character ever, but the other main characters are all pretty good. ^^ Though I did feel the same as you after I finished RH2 for the first time. I miss Yuki and her greatness even now, and she's pretty much one of my favorite characters in eroge (well, besides Ayana xD).

We all like lewd things because it's in our nature. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Jokes aside, current media is flawed, but will probably always stay the same (nothing we can do about it). Not to mention, you only see in portrayals like this one, where someone takes one of their temptations too far. In real life it just never happens outside of an extremely tiny minority where events are pointless and undocumented to every person. I don't think there's really anything to worry about, but the message Me!Me!Me! tells is more of a reminder than a message with that having been said. Everyone knows not to take things too far and hurt another one of their own. We all just need to be reminded constantly through things like this. This MV was simply a unique experience for me, that made me think and admire the great mind behind it. A great mind who understood this message and applied it to his work, and subsequently, to the public. Now, back to lewd proclivities galore!

Me!Me!Me! is an epic masterpiece made possible by some of the great minds back when Gainax existed (or well, great minds in general). I like to think of it as being very "Gainax-ish" as a result. Here's some more accurate information behind it: http://www.crunchyroll.com/anime-news/2014/11/17/teddyloid-featured-in-next-animator-expo-short This music video is great because it's an example of sexualization that's actually rather meaningful to the production as a whole, and not just for audience appeal. Though it's still a double standard in that regard. Made me think, and certainly made me uncomfortable, but in a good way. I really hope more stuff like this comes out in the future, because it'll at least make borderline hentai seem intelligent. Fav'd. (*‿*✿) (Now to somehow defeat the sad panda and get myself into exhentai QQ)
  15. Recently gotten into a Trance/Progressive/Atmospheric/Chill mood with music. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3P7alZFl6pI ("WTF!!!" video warning! Maybe one day I'll understand the meaning behind this video, and tell all my friends about it. (❀◦‿◦) ) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NTKuygHSFZ0 Novelty amongst repetition is the greatest kind of subtlety~
  16. Fellow Subarashiki Hibi reader, hello. (*‿*✿) Obsessing aside... I was also talking to Bolverk a while ago when he read it, about a rather "important" (at least I feel it is) walkthrough needed to get the best experience from SubaHibi. I don't know of very many useful walkthroughs to SubaHibi except one that's entirely in Japanese and even then if you can read it, the guide's still really confusing to follow/lists spoilers. I'll be putting this 'walkthrough' into a spoiler simply to package it up, so don't worry about any SubaHibi spoilers inside! I'll conclude by saying that this VN is quite the treat, so experience it well my friend. (❀◦‿◦)
  17. Good review (although I have read nothing but one of the eroge on that rating chart, and am currently reading Saihate no Ima). I've always heard from others that it's distasteful to read reviews before playing the game. In my case, I feel like I need some huge motivational power (reason) to pick up something, and that's via checking out reviews like these. This is especially nice because you list a rating chart with comparisons to other similar works. I won't adhere to any of the ratings to judge the quality for my tastes (Hello Lady! seems the type of eroge that I'd really enjoy, as an example), but it'll be helpful if I finish this and want to look for another similar experience. Gleam Garden is surely going on my backlog as of now (still need to finish a lot of other stuff first x_x).
  18. From what I know, yes. However, a translation from Japanese to English always deviates a little bit away from the original in terms of feeling and maybe the original charm it had (they're two very different languages in that regard). I cannot be sure of what scale this deviation is (and I'm assuming the translation is exceptional given what I've heard from others), but I surely aim to experience one of my favorite series of all time in as much as a raw form as possible.
  19. The Monogatari series is simply too amazing. How can something be this amazing? (Nisio Isin is cool, that's probably why) I might start reading the LNs at some point, given that I want to experience the original source material as much as possible (might even try it in jp if it's possible). As for the characters, I really do like all of them (they're arguably the best part to the series), yet Shinobu is my favorite.
  20. That food is the one and only truth to this universe. Food as a principle may perhaps span across the entire multiverse, infinitely, in all directions... to all potential existence. A principle that interconnects all other principles amongst everything. You are thinking that must be the case, only as you are shoving down mouthfuls of the stuff.
  21. Isn't anime absolutely wonderful~ Currently watching Shinsekai Yori and it's quite the intrigue. Fits all of my tastes so far, but there just is something missing. I wonder...
  22. Here's my contribution to this thread from the greatest Yuri work ever. This is the "genre" that makes me the happiest, and this thread is certainly my favorite as of recent... I <3 Yuri.

  24. I see, if you claim you don't know then that must be correct. That only means-- I don't understand, either. Only hugging is possible. "hug~, hug~, hug~" "hug~ hug~ hug~" Is this right?
  25. "You must understand that we're the same, or perhaps... are you the one who conceals...?" ...is what I would've said in any situation. Down the Rabbit-Hole indeed.
