I don't particularly watch anime with fantasy elements. Realistic romance is what I go for Kuroshitsuji would be my favorite fantasy title, if you could even consider it fantasy

According to VNDB there aren't even plans for an English patch. And there's not even a PC version so it would be a bit more difficult to translate

I have breaking free of my usual romance watching... Higurashi has really been keeping my interest. The first 26 episodes are nothing without Kai and Rei so its a shame that the rest didn't get dubbed.

Just had to bring a thread about romance back from the brink For me the love confession in Itazura na Kiss was quite memorable. It was probably one of the most harsh rejections I've seen in an anime and occurred in the first episode. Also the fact that the main characters go on to have a relationship far beyond high school makes the dramatic confession that much more memorable.

Many of the threads are for requesting recruitment not for the entire project itself. I am in need of the same clarification...

Speaking of newcomers, many of us give recommendations to newbies on the Introduce Yourself board. And I have seen many of the more seasoned players even asking for recommendations so the board doesn't go unused. Its an important part of this obscure subculture. We are trying to make visual novels more popular therefore I think that recommending titles to others is one of our main duties! The Recommendations board definitely deserves to have its own place on the Fuwanovel forums front page rather than being a sub forum for VN talk

There's your first recommendation from me. You should definitely play Planetarian, its a kinetic novel so it won't take you very long but its an excellent read
