  1. Yeah, that series has some very well written and fun to listen to characters. I wish there where more characters like jinto in anime. He is such a fun character, despite neither being dumb nor being a super over competent main character.
  2. I dont think that was mere gut. the synopsis of the serie already betrayed that it was going to be one of the best. series like that don't usually get animated unless they are fairly sure they can do a decent job.
  3. you sure you got the anime right? I may just be stupid but i can not find the name on the upcoming anime list on animenews. The closest thing i have been able to find is divine gate, which i did check out. Unfortunately this was one of those rare cases where i really hated the animation and the dreary mood the anime has going for it. And a have a question. what do you all think has the potential to be this season biggest train wreck? (does not mean you are not allowed to like it, i personally have also enjoyed a few train wrecks myself :)) I put my money on this one: Pandora in the Crimson Shell: Ghost Urn.
  4. Yeah, it was a lot more decent than i expected. But you are right int hat it is boring, which is kind of sad as aside from Erased i have yet to watch a really good series this season that is not just ''wierd''.
  5. Nice to see the forums back up again. Good job on fixing things. Although is there any ETA on fixing the distance between lines when you press enter? Maybe it is just me but it really grates on my nerves. Also, don't blame yourself to hard when you screw up, everyone screws up on a daily basis. (I can be horribly wrong but on twitter you sounded like you where blaming yourself a little)
  6. Consider Life is Strange as well, it's only $13 and probably better than every Telltale game other than TWD s1 and Tales from Borderlands. I don't super love it or anything but it's a pretty good one of those, especially if you're some VN-and-anime-addled moron like me who has a thing for high school settings. Got it, played it, I'll complete episode 5 one of these daysTM I have this really weird thing that makes it so that the closer I am to finishing something the more likely I am to drop it indefinitely. It's really weird. you are not the only one, the amount of games i have stalled indefinitely just before the ending. (And never came back, or came back so much later i could start from scratch) Although i have been suffering less from it lately. Lately i come back before i have to do a complete rerun. (I think it was always because the final part of so many J-RPG is related to grinding)
  7. I personally only tried the beta, and that was already a pretty big disappointment for me. So i was not even going to bother with the game anyway, but i can see your point kind of felt the same for me and yeah the DLC.........
  8. AAaah, I can so relate to that. I also have that horrible habit of starting a new series right before a exam week. I managed to start Nadia in the blue water right before my exam week. It's got really has a bit of a gibly vibe, at least the start of it. which kind of makes sense since they were involved with the series.
  9. I did not think it was to much, although in my opinion the scene felt very off from the rest of the vn. I think they should have handled that scene a little differently. Well it probably did help i absolutely detested sumika. I really could not stand her in extra and was glad she was gone in unlimited.
  10. Finally managed to finish the complete tenchi muyo series (sans the magical girls spin-off series), only took me about 6 months. I must say I had a blast watching the original OVA series and am quite happy that a new series had been announced. And it is quite plainly to see why it sticks head an shoulder above pretty much all of the other harem series out there, there are only a few that even come close to this one in my book. A good example of it would be highschool DxD which from my opinion borrowed quite heavily on the formula of the tenchi muyo series, but still maged to stay distinctly different. (Even though it is not quite as good) I also quite enjoyed the GXP series which actually has a really good ending for a harem series. I also enjoyed tenchi universe, altough i think the origional OVA's are better, especially the start. But the space adventure part during the middle is a lot of fun to watch. War On Gremitar is right up there with the origional OVA"s for me and I really hope this one will get a sequel some day. I just really like the characters and setting. Tenchi in tokyo is a lot less fun and a mostly just skimmed this one, it just does not feel right for some reason. Tenchi is a lot different in this one, and that might be the reason. well looking back, i can say for me the series stands head and shoulders above pretty much all of the other harem series out there because of its interesting characters, fun setting, interesting world and a good plot. Well the fact that i like the 80/90 style artwork probably helped a bit as well.
  11. Beautiful Bones -Sakurako's Investigation-. Well after three episodes, i think i can dump this one down in the bin. It's sad really, because the premise is one of the best and going from the premise is could have been one of the best series of the season, having a interesting lead pair with a somewhat well expressed age diffrence and a more interesting job than the usual for anime and some great animation. (besides the god awfull magical girl style transformation scene) unforunatly it falls flat on its face in terms of exection, the stories are boring the police even more in competent than in real life (Is that even possible?) and being episodic the mysteries are solved so quickly and without any actual clues that it is plain boring. To bad though, the premisde really has a lot of promise.
  12. pretty much, what the mod above me says. Here are some usefull links. link to the vn: https://vndb.org/v7721 link to the origional anime announcement: http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2015-06-06/2nd-utawarerumono-game-gets-tv-anime-in-october/.88983 @FinalChaos I would just watch the anime, because as of now there is as far as i know no annoucement of a translation of the game so it will probably take a long time before it is fully translated. I think you can relativly safly expect it to be 5-10 years before the game is fully translated and available, if ever. So unless you a very large amount of paitience i would simply watch it. (i think it might be one of the best shows this season along with the new gundam.) ....and why can i not turn the fat lines of for that piece above me..........well i guess i can live with that easier that the line distance. Damm it Tay fix the line distance........yeah i know should not be complaining
  13. A sorry i misread because of this part ''There's already a completed anime that adapts the VN.''. My mistake.
  14. The first episode was really... meh? It didn't really set anything up in the show so far other than that we have a manic girl who is the daughter of some famous forensic professor who has the randomly magical ability to see through flesh and into the skeletons of people. We also have tag-along-kun who is meant to be her restrainer yet only ends up in a subservient role where he can't do anything other than be her cute little pet. Wait till episode 3 for some actual insight into the series's plot commentary. On the technical aspects, everything seemed reasonably fine, except that I think they blew half the budget on the first episode in a single 30 second clip of her magical stare into the skeleton of two dead people. The premise is great, the execution is just meh. But it could still become someting but at this point it is not great. If you want someting different and are not watching it yet try the new UTAWARERUMONO -Itsuwari no Kamen- it is possibly one of the best series this season. it also has one of those rare homey feelings to it. So I should probably wait a bit longer to see if Sakurako improves. Thanks for your help. As for Utawareumono, I'm avoiding it since I want to play the vn before I watch the adaptation. Utawareumono is an alternative adaptation. As far as I know, it does not follow the VN in any way. There's already a completed anime that adapts the VN. we are talking about that new one, not the old one. .....you know i dont know if i like that new quote system, or the line distance for that matter.

  16. have a safe trip. And we will see you around.
  17. umm, i know the problems about the notifications system are known I just dont know how much about it is known. So just to add my two pennies to the pot on that. It seems it is inpossible to recieve a proper notification for me, the only thing that comes close to the old system is when i set it to ''send me a notification when new content is posted''. there is just one problem with doing that tough, and that is that it also sends me a email everytime someone makes a comment on one of the threats i follow. which kind of floods my email box with what is in that cause essentially spam. Dont get me wrong, i dont mind recieving email from fuwa but not one every time a threath is updated, we got a nice and shiny notifications center for that. there is also this: (dont know if this is already known tough, could not find it in the list) How do I get from the forums back to the main site? In the past the button with forum written on it would take you back to the main forum page and the great big logo button would take you to the main site. But now both seem to take you to the forums. (Is this a feature instead of a bug, or am i just going funny now?)
  18. Though about that, but could not find out how to do that for my account.
  19. Umm tay, i realize this is only partly on topic, but i felt sending a email about this to be a bit excessive. I am one of those people who got one of those emails in which you said that my login name and display name were different and that they were now merged. (no problem with this) Except i did not get one mail i got three of them which were all send at the exact same time, now i dont mind recieving mail from fuwa but recieving the same mail three times is a bit strange. any idea as wo why this happed. P.S please fix the line distance it is way to big rigt now, and pressing shift+enter every time i want to end a line get mildly annoying.
  20. Or is it just me who is a total moron? So with the roll out of the new and improved forum done. I of course just had to let my stupid side show up once again in a spectaculair fashion. After all I just had to not have my followed topics displayed in the old fasioned way of latest commented first and I just HAD to delete all my followed topics in the process because I AM to much of a total moron to pay attention to the little hints that pup up when you hover your mouse over a button. Yep I managed to actually delete all the topics I was following...... and there is unfortunatly no undo button. on the good side i managed to get most of them back by going trough a part of my old posts and my memory. and while i was at that i found this little piece of nostalgia, it feels so long ago but it actually wasn't. (altough it seems like the conversion was not to kind to it) So everybody go ahead and laugh at my stupidity or post your stupid mistakes so we can have a good laugh at them. (in the mean time i am going to bang my head on the nearest wall)
  21. So yeah, with the new site layout i found out that all of my followed topics were now in alfabetic order and not in latest update order and in the process of trying to get the old order back i manged to deleted all of my followed topics by accident. So yeah...... please tell me there is some way to get them back...... Second question, is there a possibillity to resort my followed topics the old way, it was a real easy way to check what was updated.
  22. I can see your point, kind of the same for me but i have a different taste. But you might want to check out the first couple of episodes of utawareromono.
  23. crest/banner of the stars or Aria the animation.
  24. Maijkoi is one of the few games that does not store its save files in the game folder. Most games store the save file in the game folder, but maijkoi stores it in the my documents folder. P.S If you cant find the save folder in the my documents, try to start majikoi and make a save. The save path should look something like this. C:\Users\name\Documents\みなとそふと\マジこい! Edit: beaten to the punch.
  25. hope we will get another good medieval fantasy besides utawareromono this season.
