a gundam series that is actually off to a good start........ Well that's a new one. Lets hope it keep it up and stay this good it has been a long time scince we had a decent gundam series, the last two were pretty awfull.

Sure they can, if they are willing to go old school on the series. You know like Ruronin kenshin and yu yu hakusho. Which i think you can imagine probably has somehting like a 0.0000001% chance of actually happening. well i don't think this adaption is worht it anyway. Because while i can see a great story behind it, this series has a really nasty habit of getting bogged down a bit to much in the wrong place.

missing Crest and banner of the stars as a good example of how to do a space series and politics right. And not having Desert punk in the comedy department it is a mortal sin.

it was indeed very nice to see a slightly more realistic approach to the magic vs science dilemma. Or fantasy vs modern time. We don't really have a lot of those, think this one is the only one. Well the familliar of zero also had that but it played only a very minor role. It was a very good breaht of fresh air, even if it dit dumb down a lot of the more ''disturbing stuff''

Well i guess i will have a go, altough i will only be listing vn's that are currently fully translated an that i have personally read. So this means the list may be a bit shorter than 10. (just between you and me, there a a couple more vn's i think you should read but i have not gotten around to yet.) Also for my preferences, anything with a good solid story and characters will do, altough i also really like good world building. As for H scenes, i generally don't really care altough in some cases i have tough the sotry would be better without them in some routes. For example grisia, there were two routes i tough they were appropiate (Amane and Yumiko's) the other routes felt like they were tacked on and i honestly found that the story would have been better without them. (especially makina's) 1. fate/stay night 2. tsukihime 3/4. muv luv alternative and muv luv (muv luv is only there because you need to read it in order to fully understand alternative, if you did not i would probably have dropped it half way) 5. fate/hollow atraxia 6. planetarian 7. Cou 8. Grisia 9. G-senjou 10. Katawa shoujo (because it was probably the most succesfull OELVN made to this date)

First welcome and enjoy your stay. while i have yet to read song of saya, most people here have read quite a few vn's. So here are some recommendations. Fate/stay night is a must play. It is nothing like the anime thing that carries its name. (well we do now in the unlimited blade works adaption) And we just have a new patch that has translated the realta nua version of the game. (wich is an all ages game so it does away with the H stuff and replaces it by something else) http://vndb.org/v11 Tsukihime Another must play, and no this one does not have a anime adaption. http://vndb.org/v7 (it is ancient, got no voice and no music. But it is so good) Muv Luv series, now Muv Luv extra is not that good and Unlimited is merely good but alternative is definitly a must read and to understand it completely you need to have read these two first. Okay, Gate just took a 180 on the nearly bloodless approach. I admit i did not see that one coming. Kind of felt like the realized half way through the series that going bloodless on a series like this might not be such a good idea.

Taigo please specify who you mean by you. I kind of lost who you where talking about after the first scentence. Now school has only just begun and so im still kind of in brain off mode, but i did not think i was that stupid.

fixed it for you. And it is not that kind of buggy. It is more along the lines of things like can't progress in quest x because person y placed item z in the ground instead of on the ground by accident. I definitly had the occasional crash but that was like once every 10/20 gameplay hours.

Which is exactly why i don't see a problem in it. While i dont see problems with a discount, i do see a hole lot of problems with giving unique stuff to people who preorder because that means people who buy a game after it comes out don't get the whole game. As for things like starter pack, why for gods sake would you want one for a game like fallout? Half the fun in the early game comes from being low on everything and really having to scavenge around. And While i can see a starter pack being fun for your second playthrough, it easy enough to use the console or the mod tools to make on that you think is appropiate rather than some pre selected junk the developers put out there. And let's not forget the fact that fallout was announced just 6 months before release rather than 3 years and bethesda has a lot of goodwill from me and a lot of other gamers.

Yeah, this is why i generally dont preorder anything. Well there is a exception and that would be Fallout 4. But then again fallout 4 does not have any preorder bonuses.

Mind explaining to me why everyone is automatically assuming the 7th to be a enemy? There is no proof that the 7th is an anemy nor is there any proof that he is not. There is also no proof against the fact that it could still b possible for there to be 7 heroes.

I Generally don't mind either way. The most inportant parts are the characters, world building and plaot. (not neccesairily in that order) And during most routes in a vn I am neutral regarding sex scenes, i do somtimes think they fit and somethings think they should have been left out. Here is an example from Grisaia. During Makina's route i really wished they left the sex scenes out they did not fit and fekt akward in my opinion, but during Amane's route i think the scenes fit and in some sense complimented the route. So generally i dont swing either way. But i would like so see vn's focus less on the every herione needs a sex scene in the case of a 18+ vn. Use them for routes that suit then and don't use then for routes that don't suit them.

You would be suprized how often those planets actually align. Mad jack churchill being a good example.

The heavens feel route from fate/stay night has not yet been adapted and the novels is just a better story than both of the anime adaptions. And you could always read the sequel. fate/Hollow atracxia.
