Hmmm it is a bit difficult to explain but i am goin to try. ( i will use ie and chrome as an example in this case) (ow and generally i use firefix for payments anyway, why well it just kind of happend that way) I use ie primarily for things like youtube and such for random stuff i use firefox. Anyhow here goes. My first gripe with the bookmark system is that chrome has it in the top wich makes scrolling between a lot of maps difficult and it looks disorganised. My second gripe is that it opens a map as soon as my mouse moves over it wich is annoying when you need to hover over 5 maps before you get to the map you need. ( think of openig and closing a map really fast 5 times and that gets annoying pretty fast) My third gripe with it is that every time i open a new tab with the middle mouse button it close my list of bookmarks. So now for ie. The list is on the right hand side wich means the list is vertical and that means it is easier no navigate. I can easily scrool downwards with my mouse wheel. I need to actually click on a map before it opens wich means less clutter and maps flahsing open and immidiatly after closing again. And third when i middle mouse click to open a new tab the favorites stay open until i click outside of the favorites space. This means i can easily open two tabs at once without having to navigate back to where is was a second ago. Now this does not been i am a big fan of internet explorer. (else i would not use firefox in conjunction with it) It means i am a fan of how it handles bookmarks. Wich i think it does much better than the rest) It is much more suited to people who have a large amount of bookmarks in a tree structure. (and chrome really does not like it if you have a map in a map, it looks cluttered like all hell) Long story short i use ie for things like browsing youtube and stuff, if i need to download stuff i use firefox.

What can i say . . . . You reap what you sow.

i agree still it was better than having a whimp for a protag. My only gripe with the game is that it is to short and could really have been a lot longer. (no need to increase the H-scenes though, there were more than enough of them)

you are telling me to take 400+ anime in a map and put that in excel? And it works suprisingly well because i bookmark to the same site, animenewsnetwork. and it works pretty much the same way an excel sheat does. it is a list of names and not much more, that and if need to look a partial name up i can just use the search function and presto a page with information. Other than that it is also sorted by year. So it is pretty well organised. Altough i will say that it stems from the time i just started watching anime and was to large by the time i orignionally wanted to change it so i merly reorganised it and it works pretty damm well actually.

Lol if it actually is him, he is a bigger moron than i thought and impulsive to boot. so let us do a guessing game for his (mental) age. My guess mental age 15, real age 45 year old brain dead.

You obviously have not read the whole thing have you? i don't use it because i particularly like it but because the bookmark system actually works and does what it is supposed to do and then some. As for installing firuses, i have never had ie install anything without my express permission. i will however admit completely to the memory leak but when i used chrome for three months it was even worse on the memory usage. (with my old pc, wich had only 4gb of ram) Now i dont give a shit bacause i got 16 gb of ram and thus it does not really affect anything if it uses 1 or 8 gb of memory. quoting myself, never thought i would do that Okay status update for those who care, i somehow fixed it details, for the interested After trying chrome, opera, and firefox. And hating the way bookmarks work for them. Altought hat has jsut as much to do with the way i use them. I use them to keep track of anime i watched, vn i have on my pc, anime i want to watch, a list of programs i have on my pc in case of a full reinstall, stuff i want to buy, and as a massive music liblary. ass well as a massive list of mods for multiple games, primarily bethesda games) So yeah i kind of use it in a way it was not intended to be used And ie bookmark system is the only one wich can properly organise and display that massive work. (and the only reason i use it) As for chrome i did import the order in wich is sored my bookmarks. But the way it displayed them is terrible. (on top wich makes scrolling with a mouse weel a pain in the ass) I did download a app to make it display it on the left or right, but it suffered from the same problem firefox does with bookmarks. And that is when i middle mouse click on a bookmark to open a tab it makes the bookmark screen dissapear and you need to click the bookmark screen again. And i tend to open two or tree at a time. So that was out of the window. And after many restarts, reinstalling flashplayer again, running adaware and malwarebytes and not finding anything, some love tabs with a sledge hammer and breaking down hysterically crying. I decided in a effort of futillity to instal ie11 one more time. And that seemed to fix it......... no more high cpu usage, no more flashplayer crashed, still the usual ie memory leak. (but that does not bother me for i have 16gb ram muahahahaha) as for the how and why....... i have no bloody idea and i dont give a shit anymore. Spend way to much time trying to fix this already. (better part of the morning) Now i can only hope it will stay away and not come back. I am dead tired already and it is still morning here, great way to start the day.... ow well. Hope this makes it clear why i use ie. (though for forums and stuff i use firefox, aka just about everything i actually log on for)

there is mean spirited and there is mean spirited, but i get what you mean. Althought the idea about computers is not entierly true, i believe we had one before 2000 in our house. Ahhh the good old time, where 1gb was a great amount of storage that would never get full....... until it did get full

How do i know this visuanl novel english / jpn
havoc replied to pranowo95's topic in Visual Novel Talk
welcome to the forum as for what is translated, there is this site wich more or less host's only translated games. Another good way is to google the name of the vn with vndb behind it, here is an example. now you can see the releases and also if there is a english patch. http://vndb.org/v11 And now on to my favorite part recommendations. Fate/stay night is a must play. It is nothing like the anime thing that carries its name. Hopefully it wil finally have the unlimited blade works route adapted next season. And we just have a new patch that has translated the realta nua version of the game. (wich is an all ages game so it does away with the H stuff and replaces it by something else) http://vndb.org/v11 Tsukihime Another must play, and no this one does not have a anime adaption. http://vndb.org/v7 (it is ancient, got no voice and no music. But it is so good) Muv Luv series, now Muv Luv extra is not that good and Unlimited is merely good but alternative is definitly a must read and to understand it completely you need to have read these two first. (I so hope muv luv alternative get's an anime adaption at some point) http://vndb.org/v93 (extra/unlimited) yes they are packed into one game http://vndb.org/v92 (alternative) g senjou maou Is also a must read. http://vndb.org/v211 Other than that there is Grisaia no Kajitsu wich is also a must read. http://vndb.org/v5154 And last there is clannad. Also a must read, but the current translation is rough so i would wait until sekai project releases it officially. http://vndb.org/v4 See the vnd links for more info on the vn's. And check out the ranking it is a decent indication of what as worth your while assuming enough fotes have been cast. Of course it does not take personal preference into accoun't but it is a good indicator of how good a vn is. Have a nice day. And i hope you enjoy your stay. And hope to hear from you again. If you ever need help just make a topic, and ask. no need to apologize. -
You know of those people who dont realize thier problem, you have heard of them have you? well they usually dont end up very well. And i will never open up your spoilers again. for the better of humanity. Lest I seriously will try to end humanity

But yeah it was a pretty decent movie. I wish it would have used Ginga Tetsudou no Yoru in a more "meaningful" way though - as it is the oniric scenes are great and as an overall theme it gives a lot of flavor to the movie, but there's no relation with the novel's themes. well, now thta i have had a few minutes to think about it. It seems like it did not know what to be. The first half was in my eyes is a tale about two cultures coming together and getting to know echother. this was very well done in my eyes and was the most interesting part of the movie. after that though it seems like it decided it wanted to be depressing instead. ( a la grave of the fire flies style, does not really work well tough for this one) unofrtunatly this part leaves a lot to be disiered and it leaves plot holes. What happen to his uncle and the teacher afterwards etc. so i think iot would have been a lot better of a movie if it just stuck to the first part like glue. this is why i am strugeling to make my mind up about it. Do think it was good or bad. ( i am genrally quite wite and black) It's decent but the second half nearly ruins it.

just finished giovanni's island. it is a good movie, but it kind of felt off at some points. mainly the time skip we don't know what happend to one of the main characters in the first half. And it reminds me a aful lot of grave of the fire flies. (it plays out in a similair way) So overal decent movie.

Your desktop overheats then?

well that interesting total bullcrap. i will admit there is a part that is indeed like that. But most people talking about being pc master race don't mean it like that. And are in part mocking themselves and the industrie wich has gravitated it's major releases to the consolwe wich in effect after it has been released stands still in time. And as such are slowing the progress of games. very few people actually have anything against console gamer they have something against console exclusive games. I am part of the '' Pc master race'' and it is staggering anoying to see games released to console's only because of a deal with the console company. Add to that the fact that a good pc is often better than a console and you can safely say that consoles are in effect slowing the industy down. That is nothing against hey guy who can't afford a good pc and thus has to use a console. there is nothing wrong with that. There is one problem that arises when console and pc player play in the same server. And that has to do with things like aiming assisantce, as most console shooters have some form of it and pc games generally don't. So what are they going to do to level the playing field? And i have myself been an ''inferior console player'' for years. So i have seen both sides of the coin. As for trolls, there are different kinds. Some just want to ocasionally just thease someone. (me) And there are the assholes who just wan't to piss someone off or make someone sad.

You are completely right i really like the movie and hate it at the some time. You might say i love to hate it but if you watched the movie and got the background message you will understand. else if you want i can tell but that would be spoiling it so i will wait.
-
my pc has never overheated I am part of the desktop master race

More or less, the movie takes it from the narrative of one small group only so you don't really get the big picture you will get a few hints to help you figure it out though. It is a pretty smart movie, but once you figure it out you will be disgusted at what is most likly really going on. But it is a very intelligent movie.

This is not so much as a sad ending, you see it coming miles away. it has to do with when you are done thinking about this movie. (the disgust at what is really going on)

i did try a different browser and the high cpu usage does indeed seem to gone if i use a different browser so the problem is most likely ie related. Still it is strange how it just appeared over night.
-
I will admit to using ie, but i dont have much choise in the matter due to my huge favorites folder. If you know a browser that can import them and keep the order i have sortet them in, do tell me. (i dont like fire fox because of the way the favorites work) And i will post what i have dont from scratch. hardware: i5-3570k (3.4 ghz) 16gb ram 1600mhz System, windows 7 64 bit. internet explorer 10. Other than the regular updates, i have not installed any programs recently and definitly not yesterday. problem description: This morning i booted op ie and as usual opened my tabs with music when i suddenly noticed my pc slowing down. (i usually open quite a lot of tabs with music from youtube) I checked my cpu usage and say that it was around 90% now usually when i have all my tabs open this is around 0-5% so that was abnormal. I went and checked wich program was using so much cpu and it turned out to be ie. After this i closed ie rebooted and tried again. Once again the cpu usage was extremely high. After this i opened less tabs and say that my cpu usage was showing spikes jumping from 0% to 40% due to internet explorer. After i closed it, i once again opend it and this time opend tabs of a different website world of tanks main page instead of youtube. ( i used the same amount of tabs) In this case the cpu spikes where gone. This led me to think that mayby flashplayer was the cause so i uninstalled it and reinstalled it. This did not fix the problem. After this i when to windows update and installed ie11 to see if that could fix the problem. It did do a certain extent, only now flashplayer was crashing.when i opend my tabs . (i got youtube with wite schreen with a circle in the middle with a ! sign) So i uninstalled ie11 and when back to ie10. This brought back the first problem but also kept the flashplayer crashing. So i reinstalled flashplayer again. The problem persists. And of course i managed to forget to make a recovery point before i did anything. Silly me doing something right for a change So im screwed aren't I EDIT: i did try a different browser and the high cpu usage does indeed seem to gone if i use a different browser so the problem is most likely ie related.

Okay i need a computer nerd now!!!. I went to bed yesterday and there was nothing wrong with my pc. I wake up this morning and as usual boot op internet explorer with some music. now usually the cpu usage for internet explorer when the music is not playing is somewhere between 0 and 5%. Yet this morning it suddenly started spiking up to 40% and then dropping down to zero again afterwich it spikes again. Now the about of cpu usage seem to be dependand on how many tabs i have open at the moment and wich site is open. For expample the warthunder and world of tanks sites barly spike if not at all. The problem lies in youtube wich spikes massivly for some reason. So i thought it had to do with flasplayer. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it so if that would fix the problem. It did not. I also did a system recovery to see if that fixed the probelem, also did not help. I need help

not as nasty as trying to hack the nexus community, they tracked the guy who did that right back to his home. You can guess the rest. Pissing of 200.000 computer nerds plus a couple million others generally is not a good idea
