  1. Thanks for your feedback! Yes, smart and strong characters are very desirable, although it seems that most of the ones who exist currently are exaggerated ^^" As for the other heroines, we hope that they will be seen as well-developed before they are disliked Thank you, that response was very helpful! I suppose it is quite intriguing to have someone who seems like the "mom" archetype, but suddenly flip on a switch of verbal abuse Nice choice! Hopefully, your investment will reap a suitable reward. ^^
  2. Thanks for your input! We wanted to keep the character descriptions spoiler-free, so while they may appear vague, we crafted them with the intention of giving you a glimpse into their personalities. If this failed, we would like to rectify this immediately. Would you mind describing which characters feel bland or too similar to each other? Thank you! Your support is very encouraging to our team. And ooh, interesting choice... Might I ask what intrigues you?
  3. Good heavens. I'm... not sure how to feel about this. Thanks for the welcomes!
  4. Welcome! Hope you enjoy your stay!
  5. Hello all! For anyone interested in joining the project, we have opened a Recruitment page on our website. Feel free to check it out and see if anything interests you! We really appreciate all the support - thank you for your comments and questions.
  6. Welcome to Fuwa!
  7. NA: moriartywasreal Hmm, tips will vary from league to league, but here are some general ones I've picked up: Use the minigun for most CSing - switch to rocket launcher when CSing under turret, harassing ADC, and group fighting. In general, ult only to begin or end a fight - don't spend time with channel time in the middle. The problem before your support being a carry support will be wards. Ask them once, politely. If they're toxic or just careless, you'll have to pick up a green ward when you get back to lane and ward for yourself (yellow trinket won't be enough if they're not warding). It kinda sucks but it's necessary. If neither of you have available wards and there's no sight on the enemy jungler, freeze the lane - don't auto attack except for last hits. Ideally, your minion wave won't push and you'll get to stay safely close to your turret. If you're already pushing but your spidey senses are tingling, immediately back off and take a jungle camp. Better safe than sorry, and you won't lose minions when you return to lane. Jinx is very susceptible to ganks compared to, say, Lucian or Caitlyn, so map awareness is very important. That being said, she's fairly dominant in lane and is a safe pick. Sorry that these are pretty vague, but I hope it helps! EDIT: I'm a forum newb. Somehow, I thought the post was the last one in the thread, but it's not. -.-'
  8. Liking the ones I'm seeing! Chortled out loud at yours, solidbatman.
  9. Thanks for all the recommendations! Yup, I'm a big fan of BBC Sherlock. Well spotted.
  10. これ is pretty simple: it translates to "this thing." So, if you're touching it or holding it, you refer to it as "これ." それ is basically used in two different circumstances (although there are exceptions to each language): To refer to something that is the これ of the person you are talking to. To refer to something intangible, like a concept. (1) seems a little strange, so let's try an example: Let's say A and B are shopping together. A stops at one clothing rack and B goes to another clothing rack a few feet away. [A takes a dress and holds it up to show B] A: ね、これはどう? B: なにそれ? In this example, the dress is "this thing" to A, so B calls it それ. Let's try a reverse example, where someone says それ first: [b finds a dress and takes it off the rack, examining it in her hands] A: それはかわいい! B: これ?そんな。。。やばいじゃん! Because the dress is "this thing" to B, A refers to it as それ。Hopefully, that helps clarify things. The rule of thumb is to address the これ of the person you're talking to as それ. (2) is more simple - when you are referring to an object or a person who is not present, or an abstract concept, you use それ/その。(それ is a noun, その is the modifier form.) An object not present: A: 「本当に忘れた?先週末、パン屋へケーキを食べに行ったよ!」(You seriously don't remember? Last week, we went to the bakery to eat cake!) B: 「あっ、そうね!そのケーキはジョーおいしかったわ!」 (Oh, that's right! That cake was sooo delicious~ A person not present: A: 「彼はどこだ?」 (Where is he?) B: 「その人いつも寝過ごすね。。。」 (That person [he] always oversleeps, huh... An abstract concept: A: 「絶対に恋しない。」(I'll never fall in love.) B:「それは無理だろう。」(That's impossible, you know. Final note: それ is used for the phrase immediately proceeding its use. That means in your question, それ would actually be referring to楽しそうにしている姿が見られて" if it follows conventional usage. Hope that helped!
  11. Wow, everyone's so nice! Thanks for the welcomes. I'll be sure to check out Analogue. And sure! My IGN is moriartywasreal. Feel free to add me, although it'll be a couple days before I'm on again.
  12. Hello, benevolent denizens of Fuwanovel! I'm sort of poor at introductions. Isn't it kind of a taxing task? Summarizing everything in your life, who you are, and the purpose of life in a few paragraphs. Am I the only one who sometimes runs into identity crises? Hello, I'm ____, and I'm... wait... who am I?! Anyways, rambling aside, here's the 411: I've heard about Fuwanovel for a while, but for some reason unknown to mankind, never signed up for an account until now. I'm a master procrastinator. I've been in love with visual novels for the past couple years and in love with storytelling since I was born. My name is Megan. Probably should have mentioned that a while back. I'm borderline ADHD. Bet you never would've guessed. I used to be conversationally adequate in Japanese and Korean, but now I have no one to practice with so... back to be a unilingual American. If you play League of Legends on NA server, it'd be fun to play together. But fair warning: I suck. I love writing and am currently studying Screenwriting as a sophomore in college. Although (shh) I like writing for video games more than movies. I love creating stuff, not just writing. Drawing, cinematography, singing, playing violin/guitar/piano, motion typography and graphics manipulation, photography, and composing. Disclaimer: That doesn't mean I'm good at any of it. Actual visual-novel-related shenanigans: I have a thing for mystery: Phoenix Wright and all its related games, as well as Layton Brothers. MYSTERY IS BASICALLY THE BEST GENRE. I've played Katawa Shoujo, Ripples, Juniper's Knot, and any other small and free ones. I'm limited in mainly two factors: 1) I own a Mac, and 2) I will not read adult content. I end up liking the really troll animes. Like Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun and Chuunibyou Demo Koi ga Shitai. Maybe because it appeals to me a writer. I'm starting to become involved in creating visual novels, and it's a thrilling process. I was the former main editor of Kendo Crush and am currently involved with a mystery visual novel project called Lucid9. If I already offended someone, I apologize in advance. I'm new to forum etiquette. Please show me mercy. Stay cool, everyone.
