  1. Haven't had a chance to read their VN, but it's shame they're unable to continue with their project. I wonder what mistakes they made or hurdles they faced that made their journey end so abruptly. Gotta take notes if they release another post.
  2. I'll play if this becomes a thing. Drop the anchors and prepare the cannons!
  3. Looks like it'll have a lot of 'plot', so I guess it has one redeeming quality...
  4. Trinity Seven: An anime where almost everyone can become a demon lord candidate.
  5. Threw all the clutter into different folders... Out of sight, out of mind.
  6. Just finished playing it. Truly the Picasso of VNs. 10/10, would play it again. Only if you're drunk or possessed by Satan.
  7. "Blessed is he who expects nothing, for he shall never be disappointed." "Promises are like babies. Easy to make, hard to deliver." "It's how you deal with failure that determines how you achieve success."
  8. Welcome, comrade, to the fuwa forums! Yup, most protags in harem anime are oblivious by nature. Also, how do snakes reproduce?
  9. 2015 already looking to be a good year for games. I hope Corpse Party: Blood Drive ends up getting a physical release if it gets localized. Heavenly Host, here I come! http://gematsu.com/2015/01/xseed-games-registers-domains-corpse-party-blood-drive-xanadu-next-trails-cold-steel
  10. Welcome to the forums! If you're looking for people that also like VNs, then you came to the right place.
  11. Too bad a second season never came out... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b5mI7uUSeFQ
  12. False. That fool never delivered on his presents, so no altar for him! And now to add a little twist to the previous one. The next person worships Satan.
  13. Hello! Hope you enjoy your stay with us.
  14. Hi! Welcome to the fuwa forums. Hope you have fun and manage to learn a lot about VNs.
  15. It's definitely a dense read, but it's clear that you put a lot of time and effort into making sure the information you put out was as clear as possible. It doesn't surprise me how many roles there are and how many paths one can take when starting such an ambitious project, but it's still quite daunting to say the least. I'm sure this post will help both amateurs and those already in the midst of starting a project alike. Thanks for putting this up!
  16. I'll go with Mitsuru, the icy queen. Her calm nature and subdued personality makes her a tough cookie to crack but a worthy endeavor, nevertheless. As for worst girl, I had trouble deciding between Yukari and Marie. I ultimately went with Marie cause her tsundere attitude didn't work as well as I thought it would and every time I saw one of her poems I was like 'here we go again.' I'll wait to see if the vote goes in Chie's favor since she already has her own church and worshippers. http://www.reddit.com/r/churchofchie
  17. Ah, traps, the pitfalls of the anime world. Many eyes have been scarred by these elusive beings. I for one will admit that before I look beneath the surface(or umm... underneath XD) I generally only have the face to work with and the contours of a character's body. So, the answer would be yes. On a surface level, they are cute and nice to look at. The only anime off the top of my head where I can recall a trap is in Seikon no Qwaser, cause of the overt nature of the cross-dressing.Their way of deception is high tier and have fooled me many times over, but I won't pursue them. Must avert eyes. I can resist temptation. I think.
  18. I'll pick Moege and Utsuge. I like to drift between two extremes. Reading them back to back would probably make for an odd experience, though.
  19. W-Wait, this is a thing? I'll be encased in a cocoon of blankets in front of my TV for New Year's. There's chicken in the oven and apple cider in the fridge, but apart from that it'll just be another night. I'm not big on fireworks ever since that time when I almost blew my finger off... As for resolutions, it's probably better to keep my expectations low since I have a bad habit of not keeping them. Maybe exercise more or finally get serious about learning Japanese. The most memorable event of the year for me was getting my wisdom teeth extracted a couple of months ago. Being on a liquid diet is not as fun as it sounds.
  20. This looks nice. I'd play it if it came out. It reminds me of those ships from the Ars Nova anime.
  21. True. Can't very well prepare for the unknown. Next person has a fear of being trapped inside of an elevator full of people.
  22. Just curious, but what did you hate in particular? Personally, I felt like the 'monster of the week' formula was a little repetitive and the fights between Gii and the creatures were too quick for my taste. It was basically just the 'one behind me analyzed everything about it' so I win. I wanted to see more. That twist at the end was a bit confusing but I felt it tied things up for the most part. Also, I hate what happened to
  23. Pretty much depends on my mood and general impression of the heroine/hero. I may have overworked for myself for the day and require an uplifting character to quell my boredom so in that case I will go with a mix of good looks and relatability in order to ensure I am thoroughly entertained. This can have a chance of backfiring in the case of Chinami from Hoshizora who wouldn't quit yapping like some energizer rabbit, she just kept going and going and going... In other instances I look for a mix of good looks (does that make me shallow?) and personality. A well-rounded character who is able to interact with the protagonist without telling him to die or make him feel uncomfortable about his/her way of life. They can be mysterious, but not so much that I'm left scratching my head at their motives. Some examples of these characters are Kosame from Hoshizora and Irina from My Girlfriend is the President. They were strong characters who knew what they wanted and seemed like they would be a good match for the protagonist.
  24. Most of the time I find the opening after the prologue abrupt, it takes me out of the story right after it has managed to hook me in. I usually sit through the opening a couple of times in order to make an appropriate judgment on whether I like it or not, after that I usually skip it if I've added it to my collection. Openings are a good way of cementing the tone if introduced after the prologue and also of providing a glimpse of what character I might choose for my initial route.
  25. Welcome to the community! Have fun!
