  1. KYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHY DO PEOPLE JOKE SO MUCH?! IT'S REALLY A PAIN TO FIND OUT IF THEY'RE SERIOUS OR JOKING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  2. You misunderstood what he said. AN animal, it means there are animals that aren't cats, doesn't mean that cats aren't animals. But I don't think this example applies here, since cats don't make 99% of the animals.
  3. No, it's because I've seen in your review and in others people's praising KM for its gags.
  4. Um... Ok. Now it seems a lot better. Sorry. I should've specified in the OP that I don't like gags or funny stuff.
  5. You don't know how demotivating this sounds to me.
  6. I want to watch a new "Cute Girls Doing Cute Things" anime and I'm considering this one. Please don't reply if you're not a fan of the genre. So, what I want to know is: Are the characters good? Do they fit well with each other? How is the development of the friendship among the girls? How good is the soundtrack? And the art? And how is the atmosphere? Is there anything that stands out besides the girls? If you didn't get the last question, I'll give some examples: Non Non Biyori- Landscapes; Love Live!- Songs; Gochuumon wa Usagi Desu ka- Architecture; Koufuku Graffiti- Food...
  7. So there are almost no charages that aren't moeges? Why even bother to create a name to a genre that applies only to 1%?
  8. Train until your fingers bleed!
  9. I bet on Satsuki. Go Satsuki! Go!
  10. So, the link between charage and light-hearted stories is a misconception?
  11. People usually use the word charage to define something light-hearted. But I thought those were moeges. What's exactly a charage and what's exactly a moege? When I read the definitions of a charage, it says it focus on the characters, their development and interpersonal relationships. It doesn't say it's something light-hearted. But in the moege definition, we see that it's a VN that focus on moe and it has a light drama. Moe only applies to the characters, so I can't see how a VN can be driven entirely by it. To sum up things: Why do people link charage to light-hearted stories when this only applies to the definition of moege? And how can a VN be focused on moe? Can someone explain this to me?
  12. Little Busters! If My Heart Had Wings is a second option, but there are bad routes there (Kotori's and Ageha's)
  13. I didn't like Terra. I actually think it's the worst route of Rewrite. From best to worst it's like this for me: Lucia>Shizuru>Akane>Chihaya>Moon>Kotori>Terra. Terra didn't actually make sense for me. It was like they were trying to just end the story. Just end. To show us how Kotarou managed to . I was expecting something like Refrain, that gave more sense to the story as a whole or that connected more aspects of the story. And I was like waiting the whole VN to know the meaning of "good memories", and when I found out I was like: JUST THIS?! Also, aside from Kotori the other heroines didn't have any real role in the story. The only thing that was worth of Terra was the details it explored of Guardian. (but I think it should've been covered in the heroines' routes). If Rewrite had ended in Moon it would've been better. Terra was unnecessary.
  14. So I was thinking about this since Amnesia was licensed. In my opinion, otomeges do have a higher chance of success. First, because most girls like more romance than most guys. Second, because most of the character archetypes from otomeges are attractive to Western girls even if they aren't anime/manga fans, but the same doesn't apply to Western boys. For example, usually western guys aren't attracted to lolis, but there are lots of western girls who like shotas.
  15. Key DA BEST. I love Key not just because of its power to make us cry, but also because of the complexity of their works. Their stories are very well planned. There are always lots of symbolisms, foreshadowing, etc. and the characters are very well explored and have all their own role in the story. The way everything connects and the way they explore the themes of the story is indescribable. Also, they create touching and memorable songs.
  16. I like happy, heartwarming moments. Just not comedy. It's boring
  17. Why you all say that about me? I'm a happy person, you know? I just think people joke WAY too much, and there's too much comedy in the world, which I don't like. What's wrong with that. Stop pitying me.
  18. Why? I hate comedy in every genre and IRL too. Why does it affect my life?
