  1. Welcome to the site. Hope you have a good time here. ^^
  2. I always aim to have everything read and done but sometimes that's easier said than done. If things get too tedious or I just flat out stop enjoying it I'll stop. No use having a bad time over a few extra CGs
  3. As the title says. I've made a review video and if it's not too much trouble can someone give it a look and offer some feedback on it? I've made a few but next to no one watches em and I want to get better at this but without feedback I'm not sure where to really focus on improving. I just want to keep getting better at it and this seemed like a good way to get some constructive criticism. This one is just the latest on Kara no Shoujo but there are others on things like Grisaia and G-Senjou no Maou if you prefer those titles. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C2ar_JHt2nc
  4. Sweet. Finished Kara no Shoujo

  5. On the plus side if you utterly despise Extra and for some reason Unlimited all you need is the main routes. Heck, for Extra you don't even need both routes. Just one. The other is basically the same and utterly skippable. Unlimited is pretty much linear til the end too
  6. Just finished Kara no Shoujo. Aside from some seriously shoe-horned in H-Scenes it was pretty great. Now onto Comyu
  7. If you're just looking for something that requires a lot of decision making Kara no Shoujo
  8. Forgot to mention Bakemonogatari. That is some fasciniating fantasy there
  9. Got three that come to mind. Berserk, Kara no Kyoukai (All of the TM stuff really), and Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere.
  10. Welcome to the site. Hope you have good time!
  11. 9/10 Because very little can beat Edgeworth with a kitty
  12. Once again, thanks for the welcomes everyone.
  13. Just pick whatever anime you wanna watch and go for it. The rest will come in time. If you're looking for recommendations though. Hajime no Ippo is a really simple, enjoyable series about boxing. Jojo's Bizarre Adventure is a lot of wacky fun. If you're like me and enjoy a lot of surrealism and ideology then Bakemonogatari may work too.
  14. Just started Kara no Shoujo.
  15. Some of my longtime favorites. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XDX4ZwUeOok https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6k6DEJGmQUA https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IlV1hsOd_WA
  16. That's an oxymoron. Yumiko will never die
  17. Did a quick read-through of the Kara no Shoujo one (One I actually plan on reviewing soon myself funny enough) and overall I thought it was a good review. Though I do think taking a bit of a closer look at the characters couldn't hurt.
  18. I had a friend who had a longtime ploy to get me into Type Moon stuff so that I would one day read the VNs and get into VNs. It went exactly as he planned. Watched Kara no Kyoukai and Fate/Zero then I met someone in college who knew how to download VNs. Got my hands on Tsukihime and Fate/Stay Night. I enjoyed them enough I tried another VN recommended to me called Muv Luv. After that I couldn't go back
  19. Holy crap, that actually worked. Could've sworn I tried it like this at some point but I won't question it. Thank you very much. I'd thought this thing had beaten me and given up.
  20. Seems like a nice place. I might linger here a bit

  21. Thank you everyone for all the warm welcomes. Thank you for the tip. I went and made a quick list of what I've read based off that. Dunno about a lot but I might stop by once in a while haha. Probably won't be reading any of my reviews though. Mainly because they're videos. Still got a lot to learn but I'm getting there, slowly but surely.
  22. Asterisk

    Yo

After making use of the main site for a couple years, and making an account to ask for technical help, figured I may as well introduce myself. Name's Asterisk or whatever variation of it you prefer. First got into VNs freshman year of college when a friend of mine downloaded Tsukihime and Fate onto my computer. Since then I've read a decent number of VNs. My favorites are Muv Luv Alternative, Grisaia no Kajitsu, and Higurashi at the moment. Currently reading Kara no Shoujo. Among other things also a big anime and game guy. Favorite anime is Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere. Game would be Shadow Hearts Covenant or Dark Souls. May as well also mention I am a big fan of reviews. Love reading/watching/making them. Think that'll do it for an intro. Glad to be here.
