  1. We have Fred the Barber and now Tiag the Therapist
  2. I'm the opposite; I like to go for best routes first, worst routes last, because I tend to burn out on VNs. Did Victor, his kiss CGs with Cardia were awesome, now I'm moving on to Saint Germain. Impey's last, followed by True Last Lupin. Ty for the help folks
  3. Finished Victor's Route Code Realize. It wasn't as thrilling as Van Helsing's route; less action since Franky likes to talk-no-jutsu his way through things, and the main antagonist for this route has got to have one of the most illogical and stupid evil "for the greater good" plots I've ever seen But it completely kicks ass in the romance department, with Cardia and Vicky constantly reaffirming their trust and love in each other to the very end unless you decide to yolo commit suicide during the climax choice which makes absolutely no sense to choose at all in that specific moment and is basically a WTF PLAYER?! choice Anyways, best part: ^I've been making fun of the whole "she wants the D" thing for years now but I felt genuinely happy for Cardia here and was cheering out loud like an idiot. But yeah, ~~ Based on my poll I'm gonna go Saint Germain next(he's the mysterious-awesome, looking forward to it), and then Impey(he's the wild card; I think I won't enjoy his route cuz I'm not really feeling his character, but we'll see). Lupin's unlocked after everybody else, being the True Route. Damn unlockables.
  4. Started Victor Frankenstein's route in Code Realize after popular vote This guy's such a treat; Van Helsing was a total "i don't need you!@#!!1" prick from start to finish, but soft guy Victor is kind of obliged to spend more time with Cardia since he's her personal examiner-doctor-alchemist buddy and story-wise being more plot related to her. Which he was good at, during the common route. But now he has the feel feels for Cardia
  5. Help me pick the next Hero route to read in Code: Realize ~Guardian of Rebirth~ My first choice was Van Helsing (1st from left), 'cos he was the typical badass with the dark past type of guy. Thoroughly enjoyed his route, even though he just wouldn't give Cardia the D until SPOILS this happens yada yada yada RIP ;-;, But yeah, now I have no idea who I should go after next. Victor Frankenstein (2nd front left): alchemist on the run, soft personality Impey (3rd from left): airheaded, happy go lucky genius engineer Lupin (4th from the left): chivalrous thief of justice Saint Germain (1st from the right): mysterious Sephiroth-butgood- kind of guy PICK ONE!
  6. everything (mostly everything) is explained within the confines of VLR's established universe and lore. and every. twist. is foreshadowable. I mostly said that cuz OP's complaints were about 'why didn't they just do this instead, or notice that sooner' or my personal favorite, timeline mechanics not making logical sense
  7. Surprised I'm enjoying Code Realize. I might even read Norn9 Common or w.e next, but for now Gonna start Victor's route
  8. Agreed Most of the complaints about VLR not making sense are ehhh, it's sci-fi fiction, they explained most things within the confines of their universe, don't need to try to be all logical with it (especially with the time related elements!) ~~ Clover was dumbed down, I'll admit it, despite my absolute love for pinks. Least she got hawter
  9. You should do 3, 'cos it gives us the best view of your legs
  10. Summer needs to come soon Pls
  11. @Fred quit the job, change your name to Fred, and become a barber
  12. The more you know indeed, I always thought my mom was cleaning the rice when she was washing it, not removing starch. I should prob go watch and learn next time ~~ One of my co-workers who is a bit on the slow end turned out to be my senpai by 3 months. That mindblew me, and pretty much everyone in our little click / age group since I was seen as the most 'senior' counter. He's also the youngest of us all
  13. Fk Decay, I almost spit out my drink, goddamn I forgot how hilarious Makina's H-scenes were ~~ Finished Van Helsing's route in Code Realize This fker was so hard to break. Throughout all of the secret organization conspiracy plots and the "I don't deserve happiness" self pitying and the RAWRRRMUSTHAVEMYREVENGE!@# going on in this route, these two steadily build their relationship from mutual alliance to "i guess this person's pretty cool, especially compared to all the other pricks I met in my sad, lonely life" to "WE'RE NOT FRIENDS!@#" and finally the following l0lromancelogic: Ya asshole, she loves you and you love her, so stop trying to pull the whole "best way to protect each other is to distance ourselves" and go fight the world together!@# POWER OF LOVE!!!1 Though, to be fair, Cardia can die on plenty of occasions; this game has a lot of 50/50 "in the moment" choices during combat scenes ._. so his worries are justified.
  14. Ya, 1 is even worse when they bang each other immediately after falling in love / confessing
  15. Onto Chapter 9 Code Realize This shit is pretty entertaining, during this entire quest to find out more about Cardia's mysterious past, her father Isaac, and the eternal heart Horologium engraved on her chest, we go on train abduction missions, lethal air balloon races, raid Queen Victoria's ceremony, and have all these tense confrontations between iconic names (Frankenstein vs. Queen Victoria, Lupin vs. Sherlock Holmes, Impey vs. Nemo, Van Helsing vs. Pseudo-Dracula's kid, and even Cardia herself will get a shocker confrontation against the game's main antagonist). And now my Cardia just got kidnapped by Jack the Ripper. like wtf, HALP!@# e: do not resist, 'less you want a Red Screen of Death ;-;
  16. You need to get shot. Though, I enjoyed reading your rant on YuujixMakina
  17. Finished Chapter 2 of Code Realize. And so, the male harem is complete, we have the chivalrous thief Lupin, the upbeat engineer Impey, the softboy alchemist Frankenstein, the mysterious Saint-Germain, and whattaya know, the vampire slayer badass Van Helsing himself. What an eccentric cast I'm gonna hook Cardia up with Van Helsing, gg
  18. Luckily I'll be over VNs in a decade, technically I burned out 2 years ago, but my thoughts on the matter align with Dergonu's EDIT: I'm totally not trying to be harsh, either And NB's
  19. Lel Which Histy do you like more, the kawaii emote spamming one (1) or the serious one (2)?
  20. Nepgear is not Neptune. +1 Tyrosyn is just a butthurt purist, there's a reason the originals got utterly shat on whereas the remakes still got shat on but not as severe. Though, I've never played the originals, so I'd like to see some more specific examples as well
  21. I should be reading Tokyo Bible, but I keep on booting up Code Realize whenever I feel like reading ._. So far the only 'flaw' is that Cardia herself ain't voiced, cuz protagonist and immersion I guess, so I've been imagining her voice being similar to Shikkoku no Sharnoth's Mary's inner monologuing voice. Sounds about right.
  22. I usually have a knack for recognizing same VAs for characters and then spazzing over them Most recently I was all Tokyo Babel has a god tier cast for having Miyuki Sawashiro be Lilith aka Danganronpa's Toko But no way in hell would I have ever realized without looking it up just now that she also voices SAO's Sinon, and I spent the past fking month on the games + anime. Tone too stronk ._.
  23. Finished SAO: Lost Song I officially like the game's storyline over the anime's, cuz in Mother's- Will look forward to Hollow Realization later this year
  24. Eclipsed

    PS Vita

    Ye, the games you backup onto your PC with the Content Manager will include the save files for that game. PS+ users are the ones who get the dedicated save-only backups, cuz greed
  25. Finished SAO II Mother's Rosario LOLOLOLOLOL, I know I said I got spoiled by SAO: Lost Song, but goddamn, I just got hit with the biggest WTF feels ever because TL;DR the game copped out whereas the anime didn't. ;-;
