  2. Above average + but disappointing experience = pretty okay Great review as usual. I hate unsatisfying mysteries, so I'll be sure to tread carefully when I pick this up in 2018.

  4. Only a little past halfway to Gladwell's "10,000 hours = master" rule
  5. I currently have a free-time activity crisis; I want to continue reading Toke's Bibliography but for some reason am reading Codex Realization: Guards of Reborn instead; want to get SAO II Mother's Rosario over with despite spoiled from the games but I just can't hit the play button on my Tabby; and my shopping cart for PSVITA is loaded with Atelier Trilogy, Escha & Logy, and Digimon for a total of $87.97 and my hand is spasming trying not to hit confirm purchase cuz these games will just end up collecting virtual dust Halp
  6. Yeah, that makes the Arland Trilogy the cheapest its been since Golden Week of last year (which was also the only time they ever went on sale according to psprices, damn exclusives, meanwhile Nep games go on sale every month for 5 bucks)
  7. I'm nabbing everything that says Atelier on it. RIP wallet
  8. Double your calorie intake Nashe!@#

  11. Full time sadness More like Overtime sadness
  12. That means you've seen glimpses of all of the Eras of Fuwameme, Tell me, what was your favorite meme?
  13. Finished Lost Song's main storyline, will probably sporadically grind for the rest of remaining CGs and events from here on out And finally unlocked this cutie <3 (after brutally getting my ass handed)
  14. Eyy welcome to the forums You can check out Kaguya's 50 Translated VNs list for some recs! I would recommend Tokyo Babel
  15. The three people he sent an email to was 1. his mom 2. someone on Fuwa and 3. himself ~~ I'm planning on taking Japanese next semester
  16. They are becoming popular in the West because people in the West are playing them and enjoying them and then trying to get other people in the West to play them and enjoy them With the hopes that one day VNs will be universally popular all over the World, to infinity and Buzz Lightyear
  17. Fk, gotta wait another week for the next episode
  18. Finished the Phantom Bullet arc. Didn't even feel like SAO lel, but Sinon's one of my top favorites from the SAO games so it was great to have her be the focus and finally explore her background (the games alluded to but never committed to her story, thankfully. Yuuki however, gg, spoiled for Mother's Rosario already ._.)
  19. Fuwanovel: Make Visual Novels Popular in the West -> Fuwamemes: Don't Let Your Memes be Dreams I approve
  20. So after spending the past month on the games SAO: Hollow Fragment & Lost Song, it's time to watch SAO II It'll be weird, cuz of the lack of game-only heroines Strea/Philia/Rain along with having to meet Sinon and Yuuki for the first time now (they've been introduced since Aincrad in the game's storyline)

  22. My partner in crime, Liz, who was hired same day as me, went through the same training, and together joined the elite Kaiser Kounters, finally quit(?). She's been no call no show for the past week. I is a bit sad, cuz that officially means that everyone I became well-acquainted with over the past year since I've started is gone, and now I'm the old guy. The Rooke.
  23. SAO: Lost Song is basically just a pretty game for fans of SAO to enjoy consisting of Kirito n' Friends clearing Svart Alfheim; no overlying grand storyline. The fanservice between Kirito and the heroines is much more toned down than the epic Hollow Fragment where everyone gets a kiss-on-the-cheek CG, but they still get their moments. You get four very large open-worldish but eerily barren and empty islands to roam around and fly in to conquer four to six same-looking dungeons before you get to battle the Area Boss to move onto the next island Combat is pretty much mindless hack n' slash, though some bosses can hurt so you'll have to be a bit cautious around those. Overall Lost Song's event scenes are severely lacking compared to Hollow Fragment's; most of the scenes I've read through so far are just the characters doing whatever's in the moment, and it's really, really "meh" stuff. It's still a pretty game though, yes visuals matter, and you can't discredit the awesomeness of being able to fly around in a large landscape, or getting to sideline Kirito and having any of the SAO heroines as your lead party member instead. At this point though I'm only making the grind for Spoilers, I guess?
