What are you listening to right now?
Suzu Fanatic replied to Snowtsuku's topic in The Coliseum of Chatter
Pure epic, love the sound of the chains (or bells?). -
Blah... Now that I'm done Tokyo Babel, I'm feeling wistful and not sure what to do with myself, lol. Maybe I'll try out Dracu-Riot, since it appears to be legit~

You hit the nail on the head - that's exactly what needs to happen. From my understanding, the Millenium Memorial version is apparently an extended version (that also removes the h, not that it was very good) and reworks the story to a large extent, compared to the original that the fan TL covered. Though I admit I'm basing that on random posts from long ago.

Finished it last night, was a pretty enjoyable ride. Still need to organize my final thoughts though. Last route offered some emotional investment, and tears were shed. Not quite as good as Ayakashibito in some respects, but still a damn good VN worth my money. Samael best girl

Bleh, Can't say I enjoyed this one. Then again I didn't get the sopposed "true end" for going through the minigame (or am I confusing facts with the Memorial edition? Been a few years since I read anything about Tomoyo After). Still, the direction the story took bothered me.

The other pic is from Sakusaku (https://vndb.org/v10304), in the event you were inquiring about either

http://blog.mangagamer.org/2016/04/07/tokyo-babel-testers-corner-vol-1/ A decent read for anyone curious about Tokyo Babel, and want more info/insight. Written by Xarrias, one of the playtesters for TB. (spoiler free)

I second Deep Blue's and TemplarSeeker's suggestions. I would ignore School Days completely (based on what it seems like you are looking for), you will not feel good reading it - nor the money spent on it. It has its own merits, but it is a dark and miserable title, and a far cry from your expectations. Honestly, what a nasty troll.

Was pretty bummed out seeing that too - I can't help feeling some resentment towards the VN community. Ah well, people can't help what they like/don't like - after all is said and done~ My hope, is that by the end of 2016 (when MG is tallying up the annual sales) that TB does well enough to consider future ventures. But I guess time will tell.

Just starting up Lilith's route in Tokyo Babel - decided to read from the very beginning this time since it's the last route. I forgot a interesting fact she admits early on in the common route - she's a illusion/copy - as part of her raison d'être. Wonder if it's modular copy/pastes (fire and forget, so to speak), or linked connections from her "real" self. I guess further reading will clear that up, perhaps. Is the first medium that has ever made me want to look up biblical information - I ended up doing some research on "Lilith" shortly after buying Tokyo Babel, just to get a grasp on her roots.

Finished Sorami's route. Not sure how I felt about it - I liked certain aspects of it, but felt other parts hurt it. Satisifing conclusion though - even if it had more then a few ?'s left behind. (Raz and Sorami spoilers below) Sorami is a sweety though, no doubt about it. Now onto Lilith! (I suspect my favorite girl)

Based on my avatar's name, it should be a clear choice There are a few others, but I don't have the VNs installed to track down the sprites =/ (there's a rare and beautiful smiling Tohsaka Rin sprite in F/SN, and a few other sprites I can't recall)

The panamas papers 2.6 TB DATA LEAKED
Suzu Fanatic replied to Kawasumi's topic in General Discussion
Wouldn't be surprised if it was one of many cells - it'll collapse under the public eye, and the other cells will take over. Pure speculation, but it would be the logical way to run something like that - you don't run that kind of racket all in one spot. -
HunieCam Studio Hype and Discussion (Released!)
Suzu Fanatic replied to Nosebleed's topic in Gaming Talk
Gameplay is decent so far, though I'm struggling to not hate the artstyle. Might grow on me in time though~ -
The irony is that they are probably still popular - but people can just torrent~ I can't say much, as I've done my share of yarharring in the past - but it's a real eye-opener when it affects what may/may not get localized...

Noticed a few consistency errors in Raz's route - nothing big, but enough to make me say "wut?". (don't click unless your done her route) Now working through Sorami If anyone has been suffering the odd crash, it seems to be related to being in fullscreen, try going windowed mode for those moments. (seems to related to certain transition effects)

Pretty sure we won't see MG step outside of their safety bubble anytime soon, based on luke-warm sales with TB/KnS2/Gahkthun.

Just finished Azriel's bad end (one of them anyway - unsure if there are more). Glad I made the choices I did - it's actually a pretty well written bad end. (Not to mention long, I wasn't sure of it until the last few scenes)

That goes without saying - I only mentioned the one merit I felt VNs hold in RL situations. In the end, it involves human trial and error (though I guess there are plenty examples in VNs of what "not" to do lol) Still, relating with another is still a crucial piece of the puzzle that is "relationships". A long-lasting relationship survives through understanding and compromise. As for the initial dating phase - it's all about confidence, proactiveness, and empathy. And VNs usually don't portray any of those, lol. (though the empathy matter has exceptions in VNs for readers, as I discussed above)
-
I more mean from an outsiders perspective - unless the reader is truly disconnected, they can empathize with the content as it unfolds. Though even from a MCs perspective - even the dense type - it boils down to "treat others how you want to be treated". It almost always pays off in life - and that is something most MCs (at least in the romcoms I can stand to read) come to realize over the course of a story. Of course, there are exceptions, but that's just a part of life.
