  1. I never saw that version of while my guitar gently weeps (I knew about the one with eric clapton) , fucking amazing, that solo at the end. RIP
  2. happy birthday liquid, enjoy your day
  3. welcome welcome to fuwa, enjoy your stay
  4. that's probably one of the best maps the Boreal Valley, it's really cool and well done.
  5. Welcome to fuwa Aqua, I recommend you to read katawa shoujo that's a must read for any new member enjoy your stay
  6. The "☆" is because japanese people are obsessed with adding the terms "glitter" "shinny" "twinkle" "sparkle" and all that kind of bullshit related to "キラキラ" kira kira, they probably thing is cute to add it to their titles or something like that.. oh sparkly sparkly kawaiii, no it is not!
  7. Lamune has something like that if I remember right, tomboy and childhood friend and she is in love with the MC since the beginning of the story, not tanned.. hello world and bitter smile too but I can't say this recommendation is 100% accurate since i didnt finish these novels,
  8. If you follow the guide that dergonu made you can use it for pretty much any download site in japanese, all of them are pretty much the same in terms of how you pick the novel, payment process, etc. I can recommend you dlsite and getchu too, both of them great places to buy novels from and dlsite even sells some in their english website (very limited compared to the japanese one) Installing the patches is really simple, most of the time you either replace a file or just install the program that applies the patch for you, even so before buying the novel you should ask if it's going to work with that exact version, most of the time they do work but there are some rare cases where you need an special version of the game or the patch wont work.
  9. At this point "business bullshit with X company" seems to be a pretty accurate synonym for SP, it seems like there is always a problem with the people they work for, which obviously they never can't talk about or say anything at all. I'm not surprise anymore. Boy they have bad luck
  10. I love this types of answer from them "11) Root Double: They can't say much, it's "complicated," they're working on it, Soon™." you gotta love SP
  11. after 41 hours i beat dark souls 3, amazing game in every single way. I will point out the bad things: *Some NPCs were not that good compared to previous dark souls game, also in this one is much more easier to miss a quest and follow them which will end their quest line without warning making you lose important items >_> *The camera at some points is really bad, combined with a bad lock on system is just terrible adding extra difficulty in a bad way. Dark souls 1 was fine, 2 so so and this one is just bad, you will randomly stop locking enemies in the middle of the fight, this combined with the bad camera at some points makes some boss fights really hard or should i say frustrating rather than hard. And that's pretty much it xD what was really different in this dark souls from the old ones was that this one is really obscure, the bad or dark ending is really really dark, you actually do some terrible things to achieve your goal...things that are explicitly shown to you lol Now I really want to play it again but I will wait till the dlc comes out to play it again, I need to study japanese again D:
  12. Done, nice survey , it was a bit hard to choose 1 favorite game xD
  13. yep littleshogun is right
  14. I guess they can always narrate the scene itself without showing anything I really want to see how they handle this since they cannot avoid it because is a crucial part of the plot and kenichi's character development @bigfoot it did and like I said it's a really important scene too, read it again if you don't remember it .
  15. So now they are charging extra for the CGs and sound mode XD Yay for the censorship striking again, I wonder how are they going to deal with that famous scene... so they are actually charging for doing a "revision" of the existing translation and not adding the fandisk which is already included on the original game in the xbox, psp, ps3 versions...
  16. He is one of those people who never had to face reality... he is living inside his little bubble, is easy to give advice when you are in that type of position.. I hope it never get burst for him....
  17. im pretty much on the end of the game already, I just fought the most amazing boss in a souls game so far, it was freaking epic!
  18. because that one sucks (i think it's called modi ocr or something like that) try with this one http://capture2text.sourceforge.net/
  19. it's not, for example I made my own deck of vocabulary for n3 words because the ones available are not what I want or need and it takes a lot of time to do it myself but in the end it pays off. Did you try using ocr programs? that could be a shortcut for what you are looking for at least for now, assuming that what you are reading are not physical books.
  20. Well like anything related to the japanese language is not something easy to do and it takes time to properly understand it, most of the time the radicals are so "deformed", they need to make them "fit" inside the kanji so they compress or stretch them and that is what it makes them hard to know which one is it in the first place but once you get used to it is really easy. A book that explains how they are "deformed" is Remembering the Kanji, he explains radical per radical, how they normally look and how they look inside a complex kanji (how it will actually look most of the time inside a kanji).
  21. the only anki deck that has examples with every word is an n5 level vocabulary one, I haven't seen any other one like that so far even n4 level nor a kanji one. btw if you are learning them so you can look them up later on you should study the radicals, it is much more easier and it is actually what you want, if you understand how a kanji is composed, what radicals is using, you can look up a really difficult kanji in a very easy way. Radicals = 214, kanji = a whole lot more lol.
  22. well he doesnt have a vndb account so is hard to tell what he played already, I don't usually go checking the threads of new users. what part didn't you understand? maybe I can explain it a bit better or in a simpler way but I need to know why was it hard to understand in the first place
  23. I didnt mean to promote torrents or anything but I ended up sounding like that, sorry for that. Still people buying old vns should be careful about that issue.
  24. I don't know why my comment was deleted, I don't think that doing what I said is illegal I mean you bought the game in the first place... btw sometimes the drm system in old vns(the engine used in most of the F&C and their parent brands for example) prevents you from playing them in new OS like windows 7 even when they are compatible.
