I was reading a few thread about installing games on mac and is not that easy, I don't know since I don't own a mac myself but many users recommended to install bootcamp to use a double boot but I think you should try using virtual box (it supports mac) and installing xp on a virtual machine https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads It should be easy enough to configure and install, all the tutos I've seen are from 2009 so yeah I don't think they are very useful now..

I don't think this vn supports mac maybe using wine?

I played a bit of Hataraku Otona no Ren'ai Jijou, is so weird to see the characters blinking but not moving their lips or doing anything else o.o kinda creepy also if anyone wants to know the difficulty is rather easy to normal, so yeah is a readable vn.
