the difference between the pc edition and the psp is really not that much, the sound on the other hand is crap...but the resolution is almost the same(it's an old pc game) and yes it will, but like I said they added a load amount of crap and eroge just to sell it, maybe that ruins the novel for you.. there is a sort of review on vndb of guy how played it too, you can read it to fully understand the eroge in this vn.

is not giving you any error is just saying that the update was finished,(already installed) literally プログラムの更新が終了しました the update of the program has ended(was completed etc etc) btw patches most of the time are there to fix typos so you don't need them in order to play the novel is almost impossible to find out an error using machine translation
