Welcome to fuwa Leonor. What vn are you thinking of translating? Maybe I can give you a hand. There are some really easy ones, like narcissu or sharin no kuni where you don't have to do anything except unpack the file and pack it again and others are a bit hard because they have installers so you either have to ask the fans who did the translations in the first place, which is easier said than done, specially if it is an old one also some groups are not very friendly... Also there are some amazing users here in the forum who can help you out doing the hacking in the thread that nosebleed pointed.

well if you are playing a visual novel that focus in one particular theme and you skip it then there is no point in reading that novel in the first place buuuut for example sometimes rape scenes are just fillers in vns (like the eroge in most of the vns u.u) I don't see anything wrong in doing that on those particular cases, sometimes it evens ruins the plot itself in others like swan song there is for a purpose and even if you don't like rape scenes you need to watch them because they are a very important part of the plot itself

I don't like rape myself and try to avoid it as much as I can, you can always skip the scenes you don't like by holding the control key (or whatever key you need to press to skip text). I don't think anyone here is making fun on his/her choices or criticizing, we are just joking around which doesn't sound like a good idea in a thread with a new user (sorry nos4r2 if I offended you )

it does feel darker I mean even rintarou sounds more serious than in steins;gate but in the setting he is in and what he is going through it makes sense, I don't know why the backgrounds shouldn't create a dark ambiance if that's what you are aiming for, they don't feel out of place that's all I can say about it, I think the music is what truly creates the creepy atmosphere. They don't destroy the story telling and this is obviously a fan made visual novel so aiming to copy steins;gate is not a good idea imo but still it feels like the visual novel in some way. I didn't feel distracted by them, maybe the door is too bright. The pixel hunting was really bad, finding those little pills was a pain and boring, maybe because I hate pixel hunting games. Clicking on random things and read the thoughts of him wasn't bad, neither was moving around the place.

Big fan a doom here, I played doom, duke nukem, blood, unreal, quake 2, shadow warrior and wolfenstein 3d when I was 6-7 years old I still play them from time to time. I don't know but doom 3 (or quake 4) wasnt bad for me, at least it wasn't a corridor shooter like many of the fps this days are...and it was fast paced and the weapons felt good when you shot them, yeah the flashlight thing was a bummer and the leves being really dark too but overall is was really good specially compared to the mass shit fps you see this days (and back then too) I'm really hyped for doom 4 or doom

if you see a vn and it says corruption of characters and evil route it means that there will rape almost guaranteed Eien no Aselia is a censored version so you wont find anything like that not even normal sex scenes (in the uncensored version there is) the sequel does (but it's not translated/released yet)

so far is good, I like the ambiance of the novel in general and the backgrounds are ok I guess they don't seem out of place in the novel so that's a good thing. One thing that I noticed is that once I close the game I always encounter this error "fmodex.dll"

well it just started and is doing good progress, it seems that this guy did a good job advertising the campaign before lunching it, not backing it because well otome are not my thing but i wish them the best of luck.
