Narcissu is a decent VN but this whole timing of this kickstarter and the current salt with Sekai Project are what make this whole situation more troublesome than it is. They'll make the target goal for sure, but take note of what they said on the risks and challenges part of this kickstarter campaign that there might be delays. Reputation take years to build but a second to destroy with one major fuck up and I doubt SP could afford another one like they did with WAS. I don't think so, conformism is strong within ks backers or so it seems, I only saw 2 people complaining besides me from hundreds of backers, I saw them posting literally nothing and within a few seconds their updates had many likes, is almost as if they don't actually read what they are "liking" ... go figure. Also who cares about WAS, after all is just a little doujin vn .

I really don't understand the "name the protagonist" thing, are we suppose to roleplay in the vn,? I always find it very weird, in fact in some vns the heroines call you by "your" surname or even a nickname so you just name it for no purpose at all in others they dont say anything at all and your name appears on the screen, so it sounds weird when they heroine talks to no one in particular (your name appears on the dialogue) but she is like implicitly referring to you

'Worthy' is subjective. They're bringing the two sequels of Grisaia, they've brought an excellent story by the creator of Spice and Wolf. They bring a lot of OELVNs, but MG bring a lot of nukige, so ... We're not blindly ignoring anything, we're just calling for a bit of perspective on the matter. The blind hatred Sekai generates tends to be incredibly over-the-top, and I suspect it has a lot to do with Dovac. Torment is going to be freaking awesome :3 MWAHAHAHAHAHA I don't even know who Dovac is O.o Yes it will, the long wait will pay off.

A lot of the hatred directed at Sekai stems from a distaste of Dovac himself. And that applies double for 4chan communities. The attempts to ratiionalise their hatred for the entire company tends to be a little weak, though. No thanks, that just starts speculation, and because of the nature of the internet most of the speculation will be stupid and over the top. They'll let you know when they are allowed to let you know. 6 months delay isn't a very long time, and to be frank expecting things to be released on time reveals an ignorance of game production cycles (outside of games rushed out the door by AAA publishers) and an ignorance of Kickstarter itself (especially kickstarters run by the inexperienced.) Are there things to be disappointed over? Probably? Are there things to be abusive over? No, that's just the standard internet idiocy running wild again. I've just ducked in from the RPG community where an amazing game was just released 5 years late, to see... what complaints now? People really need a little bit more tolerance and patience. They almost never go as planned. What actually matters is how these companies handle things when they go bad and whether or not they'll actually deliver on their promises. It sounds like things will get on track with WAS again and they will actually deliver. That would make it a successful project in my books.
