Hm, i'm a little curious how they are going to handle some of the stuff in this though, seeing as how the other animated versions of the routes and Zero were pretty tame when it came to sexual stuff.

Isn't rape a pretty central part of this route? Or at least a big part of Sakura's character/development? Also, I know they had the worms in Zero, but i'm pretty sure they have a bit more presence in HF

Either way, pretty hyped. Should probably get around to reading Fate soon, but already knowing what happens in HF makes me a little hesitant, I don't like watching waifus going through awful things

They'll probably base it off Realta Nua version. I'm not sure what the differences are, as I've always stuck to reading the original script - but I hear it handles it well enough. As you say, they already allude what she suffered through in Fate/Zero as a child, after all.

Yeah, in the original version it's revealed that Sakura's been put through some nasty shit (and is why @Kaguyaloves her so much). But they can tone it down in ways they've done before.

Such as in UBW, Shirou and Rin don't actually have sex to transfer her seal to him. They don't have to have Shinji raping Sakura, just physical abuse would be plenty.

If it's 3x3 hours, it might be barely long enough to cover the story without butchering it. The changes in the Realta Nua version don't sound too great, but I guess they're not too bad. Certainly not bad enough to give a shit now that we're finally getting a movie version.

I still hold bitterness in my heart that they chose UBW instead of HF as a series back then - considering UBW at least had a movie under it's belt already. -_- Oh well, good things come to those who wait. :3

Fate(8/10) > unlimited blade works(7/10) > Heaven's Feel(6/10)

I think they'll have less restrictions on what they can and can't show with a movie than with a TV series, so from that perspective it makes sense, seeing as UBW is a lot lighter than HF.

Let's just hope the studio does Heaven's Feel justice. Some of the anime adaptations have been... less than stellar.

If one cares for what actually goes on behind the scenes and how the characters behave I would dare say that HF is the best route, even though UBW is my favorite one by far.
