novurdim Posted December 20, 2016 Posted December 20, 2016 Second stretch goal is smashed with 36 hours still remaining. LRG's mail campaign about the physical vita-version+successful Thunderclap timely combined with the ending spurt worked wonders for their KS. Dergonu 1 Quote

Dergonu Posted December 20, 2016 Posted December 20, 2016 Yes!!! We got the fandisk too, phew. The vita port winning with a mere 2% in the poll was quite bitter. Glad we actually reached both stretch goals so everyone gets what they wanted. Mr Poltroon and Canicheslayer 2 Quote
Canicheslayer Posted December 20, 2016 Posted December 20, 2016 I don't care about the PSVITA but I'm really happy about the fandisk. This is another good reason for a third run Quote

The Muv Luv Kickstarter plugging them in their KS update helped a lot too. Dies Irae got a big bump from that too. Edited December 20, 2016 by Basileus777 Quote

A bit disappointed they didn't think of any new stretch goals, looks like FW didn't expect to get this far. Quote

You're not likely to get a sustained stream of new backers in the middle of a KS. Edited December 21, 2016 by Basileus777 Quote

True, even if obviously not a key difference, it still was a very nice bonus, kudos to muv luv team for always readily promoting new vn kickstarters. Quote
SpeedBeatz Posted December 22, 2016 Posted December 22, 2016 While we don't have any extra stretch goals planned, I'm sure the team will come up with something nice to do with the extra funds raised. Quote

How about give your translation staff a bonus if the lower base goal this time around means they're getting paid less. WinterfuryZX, Darklord Rooke and EdwardWongHPTIV 3 Quote

You could localize the artbook/sketchbook that was sold along with G-senjou no mao 1st print. (or rather... the rest of it) Edited December 22, 2016 by WinterfuryZX Quote
MiyazawaLulu Posted May 15, 2017 Posted May 15, 2017 Rescuing this thread back from the dead to share the last update! A lil' bit of info about the translation team and more: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/tokyootakumode/re-sharin-no-kuni-project/posts/1852952 Quote
littleshogun Posted May 15, 2017 Posted May 15, 2017 Quite interesting that both of Cafe and Blick Winkel entering the team there if I may say something. Let's see what will be happen in regard of this later. Quote
Decay Posted May 15, 2017 Posted May 15, 2017 (edited) The "routes" are super short and are basically just a couple h-scenes for each girl, a few lines of changed dialogue throughout the main story, and then a very short epilogue for each girl. So Blick is doing like 95% of the work it seems? I guess he didn't want to do the h-scenes. Well, whatever, Blick is good, Cafe is good, never heard of the other person but they're probably good. Vorathiel Posted May 15, 2017 Posted May 15, 2017 I automatically thought of them each translating different 'heroine focused' chapter. Makes much more sense than 'routes'. Mr Poltroon 1 Quote
littleshogun Posted April 18, 2023 Posted April 18, 2023 (edited) I revived the thread because Frontwing finally has the updates to share, with the most important update is that they'll release it in August later. They also mentioned that they have problem with screen resolution changing function, so they decided to scrap the plan and just release the VN as it is. For the detail, it'll be 16:9 for all age version (Because the only version with that resolution is XBOX 360 version which removed the sex scenes) and 4:3 for 18+ version. As for the fiasco, while I think that Frontwing really waste their time with working on screen resolution change, at least they're willingly to address the minor complain in which some did complain on how 16:9 version of G-Senjou crop the CG from the original resolution (4:3). Also we should give a point to Frontwing to willing to work on the Config menu for years, despite that Sharin option is far more simple than Config menu for the original Kunado (Which Shiravune got flak because they chose to port the VN and removed several features in Config menu to save time) and thus there's no need to port it. Seraphim Posted April 19, 2023 Posted April 19, 2023 Wow, so they delayed the game for almost two years because of this bug and now it turns out they haven't actually fixed it? Kinda seems like there must have been other issues at play which they haven't mentioned, or else it really shouldn't have taken this long. Oh well, I'm glad they've sorted everything out so this game can finally see the light of day (as long as there aren't any other hiccups before August). Quote
Dreamysyu Posted April 19, 2023 Posted April 19, 2023 I remember considering backing this kickstarter when it was up. How glad I am that I never did. Still better than Irosekai kickstarter that I actually did back. Quote
