Anime Boston 2017, what did you expect from Mangagamer (Only VN by the way)?

I just saw on Vndb that Trinoline is being released on the 31st of March. Maybe that's one of Mangagamers 100/100 secret projects. Correct me if i'm wrong but didn't Minori want to release it close together with the western release? 

Also didn't Mangagamer announce it last year but it's not on their project status page like the other Vns they announced like Sona-Nyl so I thought that its possible its under secret project.

MG didn't announce Trinoline; Minori did, said MG would be tling it, and then MG was all quiet about it or some similar weirdness.

I remember that ds55 had a translation status for trinoline at his Twitter Account . It is gone now, I wonder why.....

The 3/31 date is for the Japanese release.  The English version is marked "TBA".  I would be very surprised if we got a day-and-date simultaneous (or near enough) release.

About Trionline, it maybe some interesting announcement if that's happen. But I think it'll be not the announcement for Boston this time. For now, I just said that I'll be looking forward to tomorrow morning announcement here (Indonesian time of course).

Yes i knew that it was for the Japanese release, it was stated there clearly. I could also see the TBA clearly.

I just thought it was possible that they'll announce the english release during the expo. That's why i said didn't minori want to release it close together with the western release. Well they just announced it, i doubt it'll be really soon though. They're just announcing that it's happening.

Well, this is Minori we are talking about. They have always had mosaics. They will probly be very small/light tho like in the last games MG carries.

Well, that's quite fast and interestingly two of earlier prediction was true here (Trionline and secret project). Although it's quite small though (Maybe they'll save something big for AX later).

As for Trionline (Just realize that the real spelling was Trinoline), I think the premise was usual nakige there mixed with sci fi (Death, sick girl, and anroid) but among those three it's the most interesting one (Especially with minori art (Scenery porn)). As for the release, I think it's good one although it should be the norm though (Steam and 18+ version). Looking forward to this a little bit.

For other two announcement, no much comment although at least one of the announcement (Young Bride one) was already ready for a while (It's 6th secret project by the way). Quite speechless about BL which to said no my interest.

visually interesting looking BL title, with very intriguing looking plot,
and typical moe-pedo-porn.


So... yeah, I'm kinda interested in that BL title, but I'll have to see if I'm able to go through Dramatical Murder first.

Another Minori title yay. It's a must buy for me, don't care if it's censored or not.

On the other hand very interesting special guests for Anime Expo. (I wonder if thats a hint for later announcements this year).

I don't get the hype for Trinoline. It's not like it's from well known writters and art creators of previous Minori titles. Everybody in this project is fairly new, we don't know nothing about it's quality. Except, of course, that it will have typical for Minori, stunning visual effects and presentations (with ugly moe artstyle of sprites, cgs, etc). But is it enough?

So, almost as expected, one bigger announcement and two lesser ones. Just that Trinoline barely justifies as a 'new' announcement.

But it's baffling that they're still so paranoid to insist on mosaics. I wonder how far behind time they are really living? Maybe someone should send them a note that WW2 is over, so they're a least moving their offices out of the air-raid shelters. 

Wonder if there's really a deeper meaning behind the visit of Hinoue Itaru. Could be an announcement of the English version of Summer Pockets which isn't too unlikely considering most of their newer titles seem to be coming to the west. Though personally I think I would prefer some titles from Viusal Art's other studio's like from Saga Planet's or Tone Work's instead.

It's a 'symbolic' visit, she doesn't have to worked on Summer Pockets just to act as a Key representative or messenger for a new annoucement.

She went freelance just recently last year and her last release for Key - Harmonia - was just a few months ago. So it's not as she would have been gone from Key since decades ago. And since she's working freelance now, she can be hired for Key or Visual Art's any day.

So, if such an iconic Key figure like Hinoue Itaru is visiting such a major anime con as a guest start for MangaGamer, then it's most likely a tiny little bit more than just a pleasure visit to check out the quality of US fast food burgers.
