Salutations!

Just dropping in to say howdy-doo. I'm pretty new to VNs. After playing Doki Doki Literature Club on a friends recommendation, I find myself wanting to find more content that is similar to that. More on the horror end. Not so much the running around & trying to date high school girls. But hey, if it's fun. It's fun. Anywho, I'm off to find new things.

That's partly why I've never really looked into VNs before. That being said, I'm not against those particular kind. I just want my juice to have a little more pulp than that.

Thanks for the recommendations. Saya no Uta has popped up a lot in my googlings. & I'm extremely difficult to disturb.

There are barely any VN's without some romance aspect. Try anything by innocent gray, like Kara no shoujo, or higurashi. Even 999/Danganronpa will be something you like.

Welcome to Fuwanovel, and if you want some horror VN than I think Subahibi and Umineko should be good for you. Or if you have some knowledge in regard of Japanese language, then Kimi to Kanojo to Koi should be good for you because one of the ending was resembled DDLC. Hope you have fun here.

If you're more into the mystery/horror side of things, I think you should enjoy Danganronpa series a lot. All three games are available on Steam I think.

As already said, Saya no Uta is your best bet!

And just you know, you don't need to run after high school girls. There's plenty of games for you to run after high school boys

That's awesome. My friend actually has the first 2 & she's on my family share thingy.
