namiultedjapanXD Posted September 20, 2018 Posted September 20, 2018 18+, Male protagonist, doesn't have to be translated. It could be a competitive rivalry sort of thing or the heroine is a villain to the MC. Basically two people on opposite sides that eventually changes to romance. Anyone have any recommendations? adamstan Posted September 20, 2018 Posted September 20, 2018 Hmmm... some routes of Majikoi S could somewhat fit that scheme. Quote
Silvz Posted September 20, 2018 Posted September 20, 2018 Umineko \o/ It is not an ero game, though, so I don't know if it's what you're looking for as a game. But storywise it fits perfectly to what you requested. Quote
ittaku Posted September 20, 2018 Posted September 20, 2018 Yuma as heroine in To Heart 2 fits into that category, though the competition is all trivial slice of life stuff like gaming. Deniz, adamstan and snowbell55 3 Quote
r0xm2n Posted September 21, 2018 Posted September 21, 2018 Shizune in Katawa Shoujo . Yumiko in Grisaia no Kajitsu . Bit on the violent side. Michiru is also antagonistic like.... Yuzuyu from Fureraba is extremely verbally antagonistic. Rina is also on the competitive side somewhat.... Kei throughout the entirety of ef - the first tale . Kyou from Clannad ..... is quite violent (played for laughs though). Fuko acts bratty at times too (and she's adorable!). Azuki in Nekopara series butts heads with the rest of the cast often. snowbell55 1 Quote
tahu157 Posted September 21, 2018 Posted September 21, 2018 Koiken Otome's Yves should qualify. Quote
Akshay Posted September 21, 2018 Posted September 21, 2018 Dengeki Stryker has a route where you literally fall in love with the villain. Quote

LOL Yuma. Yuma is excellent and hilarious :D. Spoiler I hate people like you! I hate them so much I could pour mayonnaise all over them! You pervert! I'd also submit Shinonome Satsuki from Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate, but you have to finish the VN at least once before you can get to her route. adamstan and ittaku 2 Quote
Clephas Posted September 21, 2018 Posted September 21, 2018 This one is in spoilers because it is spoilers: Spoiler Koisuru Otome no Shugo no Tate (both games) Ou no Mimi ni wa Todokanai Dies Irae (Kei) Ayakashibito (Kaoru) Vermilion Bind of Blood (Ariya Takajou) Yurikago yori Tenshi Made (Aria) Hello, Lady (protagonist is villain to heroines in a way due to his intentions toward other characters) Electro-Arms (rivals/competitors) Quote
Noumi Kudryavka Posted September 21, 2018 Posted September 21, 2018 Shinonome Satsuki in Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate. adamstan 1 Quote
adamstan Posted September 21, 2018 Posted September 21, 2018 (edited) And what a great heroine she is, that Satsuki Edited September 21, 2018 by adamstan Quote
Okarin Posted September 21, 2018 Posted September 21, 2018 Riho from Deardrops. But only if you want a story about music and bandsmen. She starts as a musical rival to the protag, then after a lot of work, she becomes a friend of his, even has her own route (which is the canon route I think). Quote
adamstan Posted September 21, 2018 Posted September 21, 2018 Being musician myself, I have Deardrops on my "to-read" list, but it's quite expensive. As my backlog is pretty long, I'll wait for some sale on Mangagamer Quote
Sayaka Posted September 21, 2018 Posted September 21, 2018 I'm not quite sure if saying this counts as spoilers or not, so I'll play it safe! Spoiler G-senjou no Maou Quote
littleshogun Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 Let's see. If we talk about rival as in tsundere at the first look, then I would say that Ashe from Wagahigh here could be qualified. Other than Ashe, I think Renna from Tsujidou could be fit as well seeing that out of those three heroines only her whose clearly at your opposing side. For the last recommendations here, I'll recommend Chrono Clock with Misaki there. I hope that my recommendations here would be helpful to the OP there. Quote
