HerbalNekoTea Posted January 12, 2017 Posted January 12, 2017 Do you mind if i try to do recruiting on other Visual Novel Community and redirect the translator interested ? Also, do you need an Editor and TLC and QC ? I can do the QC for the obvious error since i am not a native english speaker and do bug report of the engine.

True if you do find someone redirect them to Shizuka, s/he is the one in charge now, I am not related to their project, s/he took over after our team given up. this is a google doc s/he created https://docs.google.com/document/d/1v8f8gzT-wCgbmKmhTvqoMTAux965OpR3Er7_e8u502Y/edit there it says s/he is also looking for editors, but I would suggest not looking for one before you find translator as noting can start without translator and as that can take who knows how long (if you menage to find one at all) editors will probably just go MIA waiting.
Shizuka Posted January 14, 2017 Posted January 14, 2017 I'm a girl. I really don't mind if you find someone to help, and as mentioned by Okami, translator(s) are the priority right now. I've been trying to get a hold of Zohar and have had limited success, but it looks like they have been busy with American election stuff. Hopefully they will have more free time in the future to work on the Sakuya route. If Zohar does go MIA and we have to find another translator, then we'll have to struggle to merge the work of multiple translators, and any possibility of getting the game licensed will become much more difficult. I'm hoping there's enough interest on Mangagamer's licensing survey (go fill it out!) that they'll consider talking to SUCCESS and, with Zohar's permission (if Zohar completes translating the Sakuya route), a non-PS2 Western release. Of course, that means my role in the translation team would end XD
Decay Posted May 25, 2017 Posted May 25, 2017 It seems like they have started talking with an unnamed localization company about possible plans to make this an official translation, so they took down the patch. Who wants to speculate which company this is? My money's on YumeHaven.
Okami Posted May 25, 2017 Author Posted May 25, 2017 What are you talking about? the patch is still there https://vndb.org/r40607

The team has taken down links to the patch from their own page: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1v8f8gzT-wCgbmKmhTvqoMTAux965OpR3Er7_e8u502Y/edit "10 February 2017: Links removed. We are talking to localization companies!" Edited May 25, 2017 by Decay
danielwain Posted September 30, 2018 Posted September 30, 2018 Any news on this or is everything still on indefinite hold?
littleshogun Posted September 30, 2018 Posted September 30, 2018 As far as the project concerned, well perhaps still on indefinite hold would be enough to said that the project was like this. Of course if the translator want to continue this, then go ahead and hopefully it'll be successful, or if they want to going official then it's fine as well.
