someone mentioned this is based on the Nintendo Switch version of the game, as i'm actually myself working on an 18+ uncensoring mod for the Switch version but that uses root.pfs file extension format for that release (does the PC version uses root.pfs by any chance?)

The only help i need is to extract the arc0.dat-arc3.dat files from the Japanese original PC version, if anyone knows how to please hit me up! 

 

UPDATE: I was able to get the uncensored CGs to run on the Switch version perfectly!

Now to test the English script files to see if it works as well

About the deleted scenes that contain dirty jokes and the like, will these scenes be restored with the current version of the patch if I play in Japanese? If not, is the project being worked on or is it dead?

I reached out to someone involved and they said the project isn't off the table, but it is definitely stalled. There are 20 H-Scenes and they translated and released 4 with a partial. The guy who is working on this is simply busy with another project he is involved in.

hmm i have a mixed feelings how much content did i lost if i play this game with steam version, i know some moege games that will turned bad or worse if their r18 contents removed but how bad is it in steam version? am i gonna miss something important, does anyone tried finishing the steam version of the game and felt okay with it?

Anyone know the current status of the project? it's been a long time since someone posted something, I've been interested in this visual novel and the sequel for a while now but I'm waiting for at least an untranslated restoration patch of the sequel to come out (I can read Japanese without much problem), if anyone knows anything I'd be grateful if you could tell me

As of now, perhaps the translator may have some real life matter, so of course they didn't have enough time to work on this, especially with the translator also took another project to worked on with. That said, if that person still want to continue with Norakeno, then good for him and of course for the project.

Well, at least this game got some sort of a restoration patch(not sure if its gonna be continued or not(hopefully it will)), but it sucks that the second game didn't get any sort of restoration patches, not even an image restoration, like this game got at first.

I'm but I can't say that for the project, I said before that in case of drop I should create at least an MTL patch but the other members of group are against, so I didn't it.

Hey, I wanted to ask, could you backport english TL to original Noratoto 2 JP release, since the engine is different for western release?

I can but I doubt I will do, I like more the kirikiri so for me is more cool port the removed content than that.
Also, since this project isn't finished I'm not very interesed in try the same with noratoto 2

This is a bit unrelated to the translations, but anyone knows what is happening with Harukaze(the company that released these games)? They announced the official translations for Monkeys! and comfirmed the noratoto 3 in 2020 i think, but afterwards they were kinda silent. Are they alright?

I played the steam version with restoration patch and I understand japanese a bit from my experience watching anime for years.
Here's the gist of what you missing out if you don't apply restoration patch and if you understand japanese.
Their R-18 scene wasn't just some porn. It has their progression and sweet interaction of their relationship. Sometimes it's funny too(especially before the penetration scene) and it blended well with the story.
That's why some review that don't apply restoration patch on steam feels like there's missing out something because of censorship.

Anyway, for your information, by the way, there are also some patches for first part of the game, I decided to paste it all here just in case, maybe, they also will be translated in future.

1. Visual Fan Book DLC - separate additional game with 3 new CG (and 3 new chibi art) and content. 

2. 5th Anniversary Patch - additional 10 CG and new bonus scenes (Neko no Okangae). It's a patch for original JP version of the game. 

Unfortunately, GarBro decrypt archives not fully (if you choose 1st part as decryption), so I can't see most of contents in .dat archives.

Anyway, I have installed latest version of the game ~5.3Gb (title screen shows as 1.08 + 5th Anniv 1.01), so if someone want it, just DM me.

So, I got official letter from HARUKAZE support mail.

18+ version of Noratoto (1 and 2) doens't planned for English edition, so, yeah, Restoration Patch will be our only way.

And they are still in operation (regarding future 3rd part), and they will announce their "comeback" when they ready.
