So I haven't touched a single VNs for like 3 years now and I want to start reading some VNs soon TM .  So what should I read? Give me your reasoning why the game is good so I don't have to do any research ;^).

Looks interesting. Around how long would you say it takes? The vndb page doesn't have an estimate

Currently I'm reading For Elise after not having picked up a VN in a while myself. I think it's highly underrated, and I'm loving it. If you like darker stories with more realistic characters, you'll love it. If that doesn't sound appealing however, then it's probably not for you.

Japanese natives are saying it's 30 mins long in reviews, so for normal people it's probably not longer than 4 hours to read (fuck some of these guys read fast).

That's a nice length. I have a hard time getting into longer VNs these days. Also I think I fall on the ~ 4 hour side of that spectrum lol

Sakura Moyu as The Night's Reincarnation. One of the best visual novels I have ever read and it is produced by Favorite. Clephas did a great review on it here. The true heroine, Kuro, is one of the cutest and most lovable heroines I have ever seen in a game, not that the other heroines are not good.

Well there's quite a number of new translated VNs that has been released within three years, and for the most recent translated releases you can view my best rated translated VNs in 2021 list here (The most notable VNs are Muramasa and White Album 2). If you talk about untranslated VNs, there are some notable titles such as Lupercalia, Wagahime, Kunado Kokuki, and Monkeys. I don't know if you'll like the VNs from my recommendations or not, but regardless of that I hope my recommendations here can be helpful to you.

PS - There's also Aojashin that was already translated albeit with some controversies in which the sex scenes for overseas version was removed, but at least there's a patch that restore the sex scenes and translate the sex scenes from Case 1 (The sex scenes from another cases are still untranslated).

Thanks for the suggestions. Will try to checkout Sakura Moyu, Karenai Sekai to Owaru Hana and monkeys in the next few months.
