my net speed is (-_-) and I don't have a lot of free time so I just want to know if ''Hoshizora no Memoria'' a masterpiece or not and why do you think it's great

Although I'm rather terrible at rating and describing my feelings toward a game, I shall attempt to do so on this particular circumstance.

I believe the game is no masterpiece. It's a jolly good game, yes, but nowhere near my personal top.

If you like stars, and legends regarding these, you'll enjoy quite a bit of this game.

Alike many other games of this type, it has a supernatural element.

It'll do you well if you like the heroine's personalities, there are 7 routes, 1 for each heroine: Asuho, Isuzu, Komomo, Kosame, Chinami, Yume and Mare.

I personally like the protagonist. Unlike others, there's not much special about him, he's a really caring person that likes to tease his sister. He reacts to what comes his way in a manner you'd expect, that's why I believe him to be 'normal'.

I congratulate you if you manage to decipher my mess of a thought train. I'm no specialist in visual novels, and I'm sure other people may be better at expressing their thoughts than me.

Short answer: Yes

Long answer: Hoshizora no Memoria is a really long and beautiful story with loveable characters. Even if you don't like all of them I'm sure there's at least one you'll fall in love with and that's the beauty of Hoshimemo. And of course it has Mare which is enough of a reason to read it. Seriously though it's great and worth every second of your time.

I'm really not sure. It's worth reading if you like cute girls and romance, but I wouldn't eagerly recommend it. Out of all the routes, just very few were interesting for me; perhaps the worst part was that there was a character route easily better than the actual true route at the end. The story itself is sweet, but get ready for some ridiculous deus ex machinas just for the sake of a good ending, no matter how little sense it might make. At least the characters are likeable for the most part, and the art and OST are both very nice. The story itself isn't that great, though.

Long answer: do you like love stories, drama, and a supernatural setting? Then yes. It's pretty big filesize wise, which might be a thing.

If you think you'd like mystery and being trapped in a dangerous situation more, I recommend Ever17. If you want more action / mindgames, try G-senjou no Maou. If you want even more, somewhat over-the-top, supernatural action, go for Fate/Stay Night.

Short answer: No

Longer answer: It's a fairly upbeat and fun game and so moe it it practically kills. It has a lot of both emotional and very entertaining moments, but I for one don't understand why anyone would want to read it over any of Key's VNs, as to me both Little Busters and Clannad seem superior in every way. (Except possibly in it's amount of cuteness and adult content).

its not for everyone not bad,a fairly good VN but certainly not a 'masterpiece'

some parts get annoying especially since i was forced to do all the goddamn routes -.- (doing Isuzu and Asuho was annoying for me) but all in all it was enjoyable

If you have something else to read then no, you should read Hoshizora no Memoria only if you have nothing else to read, or read it if you're interessed, but don't expect much, it's fairly long and if you don't like one of the heroines you'll probably never like her because there's not much character development.

No, personally i hated most of Hoshizora. I only liked a couple of the heroines routes (Kosame and Komomo), most of them are pretty damn stupid storywise imo. If you like moe school girls then go ahead but if you don't then don't bother with this one.

Short: Definitely yes, it is my FAVORITE game :) Probably the best for me (tied with LB).

Long: I've written an essay on why I love the game so much, read here! xD (doesn't have any spoilers, don't worry)

So yeah, you should totally at least try it~

I'm surprised that Steve was late answering this. If you want my opinion, Hoshimemo is definitely worth it, although you might hate some heroines ( I guarantee it, unless you're a very siscon type ) but you'll like it later, just be patient.
