Well, this week was a wondorous adventure, did bunch of other things OTHER than translating.

Well, I've almost fully mapped teh tools and such.
Oh, I allso got about 17% of the translation checked in Japanese.
Nothing else much, the next week will most likely be about the same: almost no translation done, a lot of other things done, but what are you going to do about it? Such is life.

First, let me state that 2015 is the flat-out worst year for VNs I've seen out of the last six. There was a lot of upward and downward flow hovering around the line known as 'mediocre' or 'average', but there were - saying it straight out - no kamige and few titles that really stood out from the crowd. It is definitely the worst year since I started VN of the Month, just two years and five months (or so) ago.

Hello hello! I have spent the whole day no lifing this game and now its time to make a review of it!
Introduction:
Just like the last game, Nekopara vol. 2 is a rather short kinetic novel, (about 4-5 hours, depending on your reading pace. Maybe a little longer if you listen to all the dialogue.) It has very nice art, animated sprites, animated H-Scenes and ... nekos!

6th or 7th H-scene done. Finally the story is progressing, and the heroine is finally showing something to like about.

OK, I started playing Gears of Dragoon 2 about four days ago (I've only managed twenty hours so far, due to work), and I have a few comments on the game.
For better or worse, Gears of Dragoon 2 Reimei no Fragments is a dungeon crawler/rpg/VN hybrid, and like most VNs of this type, it is pretty big. Since most of the people who read my blog at all are probably already aware of this, I'm not going to hide the fact that moege/charage aren't my favorite sector of the VN industry. I see VNs in general as a storytelling medium first and a visual art third or fourth, so the overfocus on visual elements that defines 'true moege' and the inevitable inconsistencies and storytelling incompetence in charage can be pretty irritating for me.

Hello hello! It's time to do something a little different and so I thought I would make kind of a review / overview of the Strike Witches manga, specifically my favorite in the series: One winged witches.
So One winged witches is just one of the several arcs which you can find in the strike witches manga, but what is so nice about the Strike Witches manga is that they don't rely heavily on each other, meaning you can read it in any order you want. (Though basic knowledge of the chara
... well, I guess I was wrong. They do still make pure moege. The only problem with this is that 'pure moege=kusoge' these days, so I honestly can't see a reason to be happy about that.

Man, I had no motivation to translate this week, yet somehow I got almost 30 kB of text squeezed out, so progress wasn't that miniscule, at the very least.
Anyways, this week basically went with only translating h-scenes, which isn't a suprise, but yeah.
Honestly, at this point I have no problems translating them, and they are going swimmingly at this point, so I think translating them should be a little faster.

As the title above indicates, this is a story about the love life of a working adult... to be specific, a twenty-five year old salaryman named Oga Itsuki. At the beginning of the story Itsuki, who has already begun to settle into the dull exhaustion of the salaryman style of life, is awakened to just how pathetic his life is by his immediate superior, who suggests he try to change himself. The amazing thing is that he does go through with it, and it changes his fate (makes it interesting).
Last night, I had a rather awkward dream where I awoke underground and noticed that I was alone, as per my daily life. I guess it was a labyrinth of sorts. It took me days to find my way out. It was also hard to breathe.
I call this an odd dream because I usually dream of violence. This time, I dreamed of solitude and purgatory. Other than that, I can't truely say I have actually had a 'normal' dream.
I guess that is why I am here on Fuwa though.
OK, first I am going to avoid spoilers throughout this review, so I would like those who want to comment to avoid the same, even in spoiler boxes. This is one of those games that is going to be harder to enjoy if you spoil it for those who come after, so I will personally eat anyone who spoils it. This VN is by the same writer who did Sumaga (blech), Gekkou no Carnevale (yay), and Totono (a VN a lot of people here liked). However, the style of story is much closer to that of Gekkou no Carneva
