Introduction
Welcome, fellow Fuwamembers, to the FuwaRecognition thread. Starting this March, we’ll be highlighting some of the best contributions made by our members each month. From snazzy blog articles to delicious forum threads, and perhaps even a few things more on the shitpost part of the spectrum, we'll keep an eye out for the cream of the crop. And then we'll gather them here. Just for you.

This time I'd must admit that I'd had hard time to find fitting title for this week, so since there's a VN with post war setting and another VN with Yoake (Meaning Dawn in Japan) word release, I'd decided to use poetic word 'Dawn After the War'.
Anyway, even though I made poetic title for this week VNTS Review, actually the inspiration title for this week kinda mediocre. For Yoake one, actually it was some short dark yuri nukige which accord
These are just a few thoughts that I've had after experiencing various gameplay VNs over the years.
First, understand that I see VNs as reading material (in the same vein as manga but with the addition of voice, some animation, and detailed narration) first and games second. Second, the type of gameplay most likely to be fused to a VN (strategy or turn-based rpg) are ones I played for well over a decade before I first encountered VNs, so I have at least some qualifications to evaluate the
First, let me state what I mean by a 'cipher' protagonist. A protagonist of this type is basically a painted-on personality who serves solely to interpret the events for you, serving as your 'eyes' and 'ears'. A protagonist like this is most likely passive and/or reactive in relation to heroines outside of sex/romance and tends to 'go with the flow' most of the time.
This isn't necessarily a bad thing. If the protagonist isn't really part of the story, making them into a cipher isn't a b
Hmm... I could say a lot about this VN... NOT.
To be honest, this VN is a perfect example of how a VN can have a decent concept, a decent staff, good art, good music, and an interesting (if derivative, at this point) setting... and fall flat on the details.
Wizard's Complex is a fantasy VN, based in a future where magic and magic technology have become an accepted part of life (this is a setting type first done effectively in Suzunone Seven by Clochette). In this world, all magic user
I'm sorry for the delay of this project, but I have been dealing with exams and school and until now I didn't have enough time to get myself into this fully.
What are we looking for?
We're currently looking for someone able to extract the text of the game and organizing it into scripts so it can be translated. Basically someone to fill the hacker position. The position of hacker has been filled! Thanks a lot to @Porygon2 for aiding us!

Mayo Chiki
Mayo Chiki, a short romance manga with a trap heroine and a satisfying ending. That's the gist of the manga. In all honesty, it really isn't anything special. The characters are decent, the art could be better and the events and interactions are pretty average. However, the central dynamics and the ending are something really special. Anyways, Mayo Chiki is 40 chapters long, including all the extra chapters and omakes. It also has a short anime for it, but it's awfully but
For those who were wondering, I do plan to play most of the April releases. Unlike March, there are no non-VN game releases I'm even the least bit interested in, so I won't be losing any time there.
Right now, due to a request from a friend, I'm starting with Wizard's Complex, by Windmill. Windmill is a company that has produced a number of notable VNs, such as Witch's Garden, Hyper→Highspeed→Genius, and Kamigakari Cross Heart. In other words, they make decent fantasy VNs, though their

Kinda want to do seiyuu joke for this week, so since the featured image header (One of 4 image actually) was Moribe Jun in Root Double, who also had same seiyuu as Kawakami Kazuko back in Majikoi, so I decided for the title because Jun was firefighter and Kazuko nickname was Wanko, I'd made 'Wanko as Firefighter' for the review title. Anyway, this is definitely not a fanfiction of how Wanko will became firefighter in Kawakami city, but usual VNT
So, Kaguya. The final boss of Touhou 8, Imperishable Night, and also the character my whole profile is based on, and my favorite touhou character, all in all.
A long time ago, a bamboo cutter found a baby girl while working.
She was unlike all other babies he had ever seen, being really small, and much more fragile.
While he was a simple bamboo cutter, and didn't have much to provide, after some thought, he decided to adopt her.
And so he took the baby, and he and his wife
I have never really understood the term "sexy". I simply have no definition for it. I classify girls as "cute", "not cute", and "provocative" (in media only, obviously). The first two are self explanatory, but that latter one refers to characters who opt for revealing clothing, scandalous outfits or who have, either by choice of wear, or by the author's drawings, certain body parts unnecessarily emphasized. I dislike provocative characters, or perhaps its better to put it as "I couldn't care les
Hadi Girl
Hadi Girl tells a story of a shy girl named Kagura Sae, who is visited by the so-called 'Fairy of Love' and if she manages to complete all of her tasks, she can achieve everlasting love with someone. The catch? If she fails just a one of these tasks, she'll never find successful love ever again. The manga is comprised of 30 chapters and a few omakes and it was completed in a span of 2 and a half years. The main genres it belongs to are Seinen and Romance.

The World God Only Knows
This manga is one of my favorites and one of the best I've read so far. Since I finished re-reading it yesterday, I'd decided it would be a good point to start this series at.
Nonetheless, Kami Nomi zo Shiru Sekai is a manga created by Wakaki Tamaki and consists of 267 chapters and one alternative final chapter. It was made in the span of 6 years and it's main genres are harem and romance, with a spin of fantasy. In it, Keima Katsuragi hs unwillingly made a con

Well, sorry for cliche title this week, but it's quite confusing to made the title from 4 release this week and I'd find it hard to find fitting title if I tried to combine 2 releases. So, I'd decided to take one title (In this case Narcissu), using hanakatoba (Flower language) from iris (It was Narcissu title), and I'd decided to use 'A Little Good News' as review title this week. Oh, hanakatoba from iris mean good news which figured kinda fitti
As you may or may not be aware, for a while now I have been waiting on a diagnosis, or lack of one, after a series of psychiatric evaluations. I started it due to suspicions of me having ADHD predominantly inattentive (also known as ADD). What transpired today was thus somewhat of a surprise: I did indeed receive a diagnosis – of Asperger Syndrome.
It’s not all that easy to accept because, well, I never felt all that aspbergy. I’m not the best guy ever when it comes to socializing, but I’m not

This is an utsuge. For those who don't already know what an utsuge is, it is a VN where the main endings are 'bad' endings. Generally speaking, the intention with an utsuge is to give the reader catharsis through a sense of despair or sorrow. Unlike in a nakige, where the sorrow or despair is temporary and everything ends with what amounts to a 'happily ever after', an utsuge's endings tend to be ones where everyone dies, despair goes on unending, or some other kind of bitter aspect. While m
Silverio's setting is based approximately fifteen hundred years from now, just over a thousand years after a massive disaster obliterated the civilizations that existed then. The disaster was caused by a dimensional reactor melt down (basically, a reactor that draws energy from higher dimensions) and it basically erased Japan, the entire east coast of China, and most of Alaska (along with most of the islands in the Pacific). In exchange, it created a 'second sun', known as 'Amaterasu' in the a
