Introduction
Welcome, fellow Fuwamembers, to the FuwaRecognition thread. Starting this March, we’ll be highlighting some of the best contributions made by our members each month. From snazzy blog articles to delicious forum threads, and perhaps even a few things more on the shitpost part of the spectrum, we'll keep an eye out for the cream of the crop. And then we'll gather them here. Just for you.

Main feature of this work is a music cd disk and nice illustrations. Stories deal with depiction of feelings rather than events.

Year 1998 has become a year of hope for me. After very devastating transition year 1997 there are so many joys and wonderful games at last. Running a bit ahead, there is a 50% increase both in total number of games and in number of listed games resulting in the record number of masterpieces this year.
Let's prolong the chart.

1992 80
1993 121

Since we finally had Saku Saku release along with the cute love fairy Tina at the image header, I decided to reuse 'Sakura Cupid' title here because we had love fairy and besides I think Tina (The aftermentioned love fairy) was quite fitting to be called cupid from what I said at first Sakura Cupid review. As for 2, it was to mimic the Winged Cloud who also released Sakura Beach 2 as the sequel of Sakura Beach. Speaking of Winged Cloud, apparentl

This story starts out from the perspective of a high school student. One day a transfer student comes to his school, and tells him she’ll kill him. At the same time, he starts seeing weird dreams and people mysteriously gets killed in his city.
Soon he realizes that them two are incarnated personalities of a man and
First, I should note that, despite how it begins, this VN turned out to not be a nukige. However, it is definitely not a 'pure love' story from beginning to end. A literal translation of the Japanese name would be 'The warped lie and love letter' with 'letter' being interchangeable with the word for a stereotyped reputation.
Second, I should warn anyone who plays this to either do Saeko's path last or read only her path. It is just too hard to pick another heroine after picking Saeko. I
Foreword: This is Kanno-san's scenario and I could not miss on it. There are a lot of good English reviews on the game so I'll try to just add some additional thoughts I have on top of those reviews.

First... I already talked about Haze Man, though you can't really call it a review, lol. Second... I'm stalling Mono no Aware for now. After playing it for three hours, I've come to the conclusion that I hate the setting in this game. It feels like one of those anime episodes in an otherwise awesome series that I drop simply because I don't like how they handled it. This game has enormous potential to be interesting... if you obliterate player agency. Unfortunately, I hate the way this game
First, I should mention that this review is split into two parts. One covers the free prequel VN released back in May and the second covers the main game, which was released last week. My personal advice is that you play the prequel first. Both games are written in a really odd fashion (multiple narrators with the prequel and third-person with no insight into the protagonist for the main game).
Prequel
The prequel covers the events eight years before the main game, filling you in o

Sorry for being late here in regard of VNTS Review beforehand, and here's the belated VNTS Review for this week. As for the title, since we had To Heart 2 release I'm going with parodying To Love-Ru anime because in To Heart 2 we had alien with the nickname Ruu - coincidentally To Love-Ru was also had aliens, and and I used XRated here to reflect To Heart 2 patch release once again. With that title matter here done, welcome to this week VNTS in w
Castle Fantasia ~Seima Taisen~ and Exodus Guilty are the masterpieces of the month and the winner is Exodus Guilty for being the more traditional VN type.
1. Hatsukoi Valentine Special 初恋ばれんたいん SPECIAL [981105] Family Soft
In Hatsukoi Valentine Special the game features a new character, a new menu, a small improvement in the gameplay, new sequences, etc.
Story same as original game.
Yes, I played this. On the surface, this game looks like a straight-out thematic nukige... but in reality it is a comedy VN that just happens to have a lot of sexual humor and h-scenes, lol.
Basically, the protagonist Shotarou receives a fatal wound protecting a pretty girl, who proceeds to kiss him, fusing her body with his, covering him in an armor suit and granting him incredible physical abilities while also healing his wounds... and then immediately asks for sex once he is finished b
This is a tale of chips, bugs and DEATH.

Last week I had the joy of seeing a cockroach in my bathroom. My reaction was obviously to scream, shut the bathroom door and flee into my bedroom, where I remained for 30 minutes, stunned by fear. After playing with the idea of never ever setting foot in my bathroom again, I thought to myself: "No! I have to man up and fight this thing!" Grabbing a plastic bag, I rushed into the bathroom, ready to trap the fucker and throw him in the gar

1. Sakura Tsuushin 桜 通信 [981001] Media Gallop Dating sim adaptation of the manga and anime series of the same name.
Touma Inaba, the protagonist, is trying to get into Keio University. On the day the exam scores are posted, he meets Mieko Yotsuba , a redhead he falls in love with at first sight. After he finds out she got in, but didn't, he decides to lie and say he passed the exam in order to impress her. He
Shuffle Essence! + is the definitive version of Shuffle, which was originally released in 2004. Shuffle was also the first game where Agobarrier, the now-deceased writer of the Tiny Dungeon series, made a claim to fame.
First, I should note that I originally played Shuffle in English and was not in any way satisfied with the results. My primary reasons were the low quality of the localization (though it was better than what MG had done up to that point) and certain differences with the a
Foreword: C's Ware produced so many good works that I inevitably had to observe each work very thoroughly. luv wave with its 3D half-naked girl on the cover looked more like a 3D adult movie than a cyberpunk game. Who knew then that it would be one of my favorite games.

First, I should define what I consider to be 'old' VNs. I essentially define 'old' VNs by the 'ten year rule'. When ten years have passed, generally the cultural references, the artwork, and even the sound styles have changed enough to be almost completely distinct from the most modern VNs. At present, that means VNs made before 2007.
Now, next I need to make a statement... I am not an art bigot. One of the most negative issues I've run across in dealing with newer VN readers is art big

There aren't masterpieces this month, but my personal favorite is Shiokaze no Memory, it's short, nice and has a distinctive individuality.
