Introduction
Welcome, fellow Fuwamembers, to the FuwaRecognition thread. Starting this March, we’ll be highlighting some of the best contributions made by our members each month. From snazzy blog articles to delicious forum threads, and perhaps even a few things more on the shitpost part of the spectrum, we'll keep an eye out for the cream of the crop. And then we'll gather them here. Just for you.

For more than a decade now the NaNoRenO visual novel jam is the biggest cyclical event organized by the EVN community, every year prompting dozens of hobbyist and aspiring commercial developers to present their work created from scratch within a strict, one-month timetable. Despite being mostly a non-commercial affair, dominated by both complete freeware titles or various demos and prototypes, it delivered many memorable games in the past, many of which are well remembered till this day (Christi
Zanmataisei Demonbane is still VN of the month for me even though I see zero point in the game, it's pure entertainment with predetermined ending and no story in-between. The reason is that other masterpieces of the month - My Merry Maybe and Yumeria - are even weaker. I'll give my stance on My Merry Maybe in review.

Detective Masochist features 20 porn scenes in total. Each scene has multiple CGs with numerous variations.
Heavy use of zooming and panning functions convey motion and focus scenes. For example, when a futa dick is about to penetrate your ass, camera zooms in on the dick. This creates a sense of fluid motion that mimics animation, no doubt saving the budget.
The scenes are almost always focused on outercourse, tease, and denial. When penetration happens, chances are it’s the woman doi
Seeing that we got Eris's patch of Eustia released back at two weeks ago, I decided to make yet another parody of Love Live as this week title. And in this case I decided to combined both of Eustia's English title (Eustia of the Tarnished Wings) with one of Love Live idol (Ayase Eli) so that we have 'Eli of the Tarnished Wings' as this week title. For more info, both of Eli and the titular Eustia was voiced by the same seiyuu (Nanjou Yoshino), hence Eli as the substitute for Eustia here. Anyway
Foreword: I played Aya route six years ago, but was left quite confused for the lack of understanding. Anime put its dots, but it deliberately changed the ending. I'm over-enjoyed to finally read all the routes in all the complexity.

Interlude is the only masterpiece of the month. This month blocked novels surpassed normal ones over four times which is very scary considered that it's not a Comiket month.
1. Erinyes [030313] Pleiades Company There is an island country similar to Japan. Memory of the great war that happened 50 years ago starts to wear off. But people who got hurt can never forget. Ema Tachibana is a tall, gloomy and unsociable girl with a bad case of resting bitch-face. With all that working against her, she's never really had any friends. At school, everyone's too scared to approach her.
But Ema herself is quite content with that state of affairs. In fact, she was all set to spend the rest of her time until graduation invisible as ever...
That is, until two men turned her life upside down!

Warning: Heavy spoilers for How To Date a Magical Girl and Doki Doki Literature Club! ahead!
Despite the amazing success of Doki Doki Literature Club! (including a commercial one, if you consider the 1300+ Steam reviews on the $10 Fan Pack DLC), there have been surprisingly few attempts to replicate its formula within the EVN scene, especially among the titles that could be considered of professional quality. While the plethora of mods kept the DDLC fanbase occupied, arguably no major We
Foreword: With Fuwa and vndbreview votes combined One 2 ~Eien no Yakusoku~ got 5 poll votes which is two votes more than closest competitor Masaru: Ashita no Yukinojou 2 has. I already mentioned that One 2 is a masterpiece, so it's time to present my reasoning. As usual, I only picked two heroines to capture while remaining four remain untouched (except for common route cameo).

Foreword: I made up mind not to read reviews about BM0 in order to preserve original experience, but I was surprised to see negative impressions of BM0 in other visual novel reviews of 2002! Wow, what could this game possibly do to piss so many people off? Can it really be worse than DoNoR with its blurry backgrounds?

Daddy’s Goodnight Kiss is a visual novel made with Renpy. Click the screen to progress the story. The game prompts you with branching dialog choices at key moments in the story. Press CTRL to skip dialogue. Press ‘H’ to hide the dialogue box.
At the start of the game, you’re given multiple presets to decide the setup of the story. Does banging your stepdaughter seem gross and unethical? You can choose the “Tutor” preset, so you’ll be banging your student instead. And for the super vanilla f
I know that the title is sounds like a light novel title, and I agree with that. It's because for this occasion I decided to use Saekano (Which is started from light novel) titling as the title for this week VNTS review, and the reason is because we have Damekoi release. For the info, both of Damekoi and Saekano is written by Fumiaki Maruto although he's more well known as White Album 2 (WA2) writer though. As for the title, since we have Damekoi's main heroine (Mitoko) have 144 centimeters heig
Routes is the only masterpiece of the month. By inertia i'm choosing BM0 from FlyingShine for review this month.

Recently, I played (partially) through Missing X-link, and this led me to think of how various VN writers handle the concept of AIs and machine sentience. There are a number of different approaches, each of which has its own ups and downs.
There are minor and major spoilers in all of these examples, and, as such, read them at your own risk.

Lab Rats features over 50 sex scenes, each exploring a unique scenario.
The author showcases mastery of the art of escalation. With the brainwashing fetish, it’s important that things progress slowly for the sake of realism. The first hour of gameplay is mostly looking but no touching!
Use your verbal skills and skills in chemistry to make the women more comfortable with sex. Eventually, you won’t need to pump their heads full of bullshit. They’ll be horny sluts all on their own!
Heya, people! It's such a long time I don't see you guys, I almost forgot my password to this forum. Guess Fuwa is still alive and kicking just like me, huh. First of all, sorry I disappeared from the face of the Earth and if I disappointed any fans I might had in this site (silly me). Since last time I posted back in February, a lot of things happened so if anyone's curious (maybe the aforementioned imaginary fans of mine) about what the hell's been happening with me, do keep reading. Beach Bounce was the second title introduced by AJ Tilley, the creator of Dharker Studio, just a few months after his debut with the infamous Sword of Asumi. It stood out from his other work in a slightly paradoxical way – while Tilley’s other projects dealt with different breeds of fantasy or experimented with unusual plot elements (ex. Highschool Romance’s gender-bending), Beach Bounce was meant to be a much more standard nukige, placing our average male protagonist in a summer resort with a s

Let's talk a bit about Postmodernism. I don't have the time nor expertise to properly explain the term and its origins, so if you don't know the term, I'll just recommend reading the TVTropes article on it. The gist is that Postmodernism in fiction “question on the nature of narrative and plot and characterization.” This can take different forms, from deconstruction to meta-commentary, self-awareness, fourth-wall breaking, not resolving narratives, putting existing fictional elements into a new
Welcome to this week VNTS Review, and as for the title I decided to combined both of Pure x Connect opening song title (Snow x Connect) with Makeover opening song title (Girl's Carnival) because we have the progress from both of those two Smee's VNs (Pure x Connect prologue patch release and the increase in Makeover translation progress), so we have 'Snow Carnival'. Apparently there's a short movie with the same title that was produced back at 1949 according to IMDb and that the movie itself pro
