I like when H-scenes don't appear until far in to the route, due to story/circumstances/ect. actually being important, and then when the time comes for the H-scenes, the protagonist is unable to erect, resulting in a failed attempt at having sex.

Voted for all three choices. I prefer every h-scene.

So how? Is it by accident? by recommendation? or just by browing VNDB? For me, I just finished my first Visual Novel, Clannad, so was looking for another VN. Since I'm not really fond of H scenes I tried my best to look for a SFW VN and then I found Symphonic Rain.

The Jaegers has so much casualties on their side as Esdeath, Wave, and Kurome are the only one still alive. How much more can we lose as Seryu and Run wasn't enough to satisfied Takahiro that *****. EDIT: And better yet he should do more deaths for Nightraid than the Jaegers when the ones he should be killing off are Tatsumi, Mine, and Leone so we could get this story over with. We need Akame as a main character rather than someone like Tatsumi ASAP. Why was this even Akame ga Kill! in the first place anyways if we can't have her in the spotlight?

I get that it's a work of fiction, but the other routes only exaggerated to make things more exciting. It's weird to include something like Michiru's route in with the others. To each his own I guess, even that borderline fantasy plot device was still enjoyable in my personal opinion. Yeah it might be a bit far fetched compared to the rest of the game, but still acceptable.

I love the color orange. I like pastel orange as well as pumpkin orange, but not neon orange. In terms of color symbolism, they seem to fit my personality decently well.

My favourite colors are blue, green, white and black. I'm not going to dwelve into the details, but I like blue because it reminds me of sky; green is the tone of hope and our world is mostly green as well. White represents purity and emptiness in most cultures, while black is often associated with solemnity and experience; it's also symbolic to death, decay and darkness.

I personally love OP. It is one of my all time favorites. Yes it is a lot of episodes and the art is somewhat mediocre but it is a ongoing anime since 1999. So if you can watch anime with decent animation (remember the quality 14 years ago) I would say it is something you should watch, why? Before you continue reading. Read the manga if you don't got enough time. You should like or at least watched some other shonen (Fairy Tail, Naruto, DBZ or Bleach as example) and enjoyed it otherwise I don't think you can enjoy OP. 1. An epic story which in my case gives me goosebumps now and then, and still does. I personally think the world and settings are interesting enough to keep me entertained. You never cease to be surprised sometimes. And the world is HUGE. 2. The fights. I think the fights are some of the best. Yes the "friendship overcome everything" is pretty cliche but if you can tolerate that you will enjoy it. 3. A shonen with the friendship and setbacks it can be. I think OP got a decent development of the characters too. 4. The characters. You actually become one with them. You feel what they do and gets moved by it. 5. The belief that dreams can come true no matter what. And Heart! Maybe a bit too much fanboy although I don't consider myself one.

Log Horizon is broadcasted on NHK. Its time slot is government funded. It most definitely played a role in that - otherwise it most likely woudn't have got a season 2 at all, considering just the sales.

I have not seen much anime myself, but here are two shows which contain a great amount of plot and comedy... respectively. Baccano! - A series of seemingly unrelated stories about alchemists, criminals, and thieves. As the show progresses, you'll find out how they're all connected with each other. The English dub is quite amazing, and I highly recommend watching it in English for the accents. Plastic Neesan - Comedy. No further comment.

Some mainstream and (really) good anime that are easy to get into: -Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex: cyberpunk sci-fi about a special intervention team. Mixes one-shot episodes and global plot, very dense stories about politics, investigations and science-fiction themes. Has a very badass female protag. No comedy at all but no drama either, it's just 100% serious business. -Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann: the best giant robot anime of those last years. So sci-fi, action, comedy and a bit of drama basically. LOTS and LOTS of nekketsu, this anime is basically dripping hot-bloodedness from everywhere. You gotta love over-the-top thing for this one. M'afraid action might be too much of a focus for you though. -Evangelion: best anime ever made well most influential anime ever made at least. Sci-fi, giant robots, sexy chicks, action, drama, introspection, depression... Basically you're not gonna think it's the best shit ever the first time you watch it but it should be good anyway. -Kara no Kyoukai: Type-Moon stuff, which you know from the VNs. This one is strongly oriented on mystery, it's a bit contemplative at times, other times there's action. Really really nice series of movies. It's not very funny either though. -Gintama: it's a shônen adaptation so it has action, but it's also the fucking funniest thing ever. Really. Very unsubtle but great humor, slice of life and some hotblooded action from time to time. It's excellent. I have tons and tons of good stuff to recommend you but with such a broad demand... Tell me if those inspire you from what I'm telling about them, if you don't feel it's what you're looking for I can try something else.

My current favorite VN: Shikkoku no Sharnoth (Favorite VN is subject to change) Through a (sort of) recommendation and browsing VNDB. Someone was hyped for another Liar-soft VN being translated. I asked if they were any good, and decided to browse VNDB to see if any of them looked interesting. Sharnoth was fully translated, and seemed most interesting.

Finished Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. What an awesome anime, definitely a masterpiece.

A lot of yuri games have voiced protagonists, so you could start with those. Any Sono Hanabira game Hitori / Futari no Qualia Lilium x Triangle I also recommend MeltyMoment & Lover Able. Both are pretty much straight charage.

I do have one Solution for you OP. It's a very shoddy solution, but if you have a strong pc and decent tablet, you could play your Muv Luv anywhere. Download the app called Splash top. It will allow you to access your computer as if you are running it directly on your mobile/tablets. If you look on the internet, you can find a way to bypass the wireless and play it anywhere without paying. Alas, I had to give up because my PC is an ancient beast.

I know many players like to use the baytrail based 8" windows tablets. cheap, light and portable, pretty much made just for visual novels

I'm sure Nosebleed would have been happy to do it . But I'll add that option instead. There. Just saw the episode. Seryu was cute as always. Waving her armless body at the sky was moe. I just wanted to pick her up and squeeze her. On a serious note, I thought they made her look really badass in the anime. Schere's death was made out more dramatic than it was in the Manga and Mine's reaction was voiced very well by her Seiyuu. I was grimacing when her bones were crunching even though I knew what was coming. I noticed the animation is always fluid during episodes with big fights or if Esdeath is involved (crosses fingers.) The next Episode titled Kill the Three will bring in Esdeath's three commanders. Translation = another favorite going down?

If you want my advice I'm currently reading Haruka Kanata and the text is easier than with the charage I tried before. It is unhookable, however - a weird engine or something, ITH just doesn't read it properly - so it's only recommended if you're drawn to the game.

As a person, Akihito is not a 'good guy', and I don't think anyone here has actually said he was... you are basically arguing over whether him being sexually amoral ruined the story, and no one is making objective points on the matter, so you aren't going to change any minds. People that hate him will hate him and those that don't, won't. Move on to actually discussing the story aside from that issue, please. Moral aesthetics on sexual matters set aside for a little while, please.

lol... first of all, for those who have yet to finish, I want to say a few words. Kagome is my waifu. I've been wanting to say that for years now. I won't allow anyone else to take her from me, not even Akihito!!! Anyway, this is one of my old favorites, so I'm happy and excited that other people have a chance to play it. This was the eighth untranslated VN I played. To be honest, while I have played VNs that are better, I've never loved a heroine more than Hinaori Kagome. There is no other heroine quite like her (though Ami from the recently released Semiramis no Tenbin has some of the same qualities, without the buffer of having a childhood friend to soften her attitude, lol). She formed my taste in heroines, and she is the reason why so many heroines leave me unsatisfied. If you are ever unfortunate enough to really meet your ideal heroine, you will know what I've experienced for the last four years, lol.

I'm pretty sure everything is ad-lib so it would be like an entire career of Ghost Stories-like dubs. Same here. I usually hate h-scenes since it's mostly obvious that they're there just to please 1 or 2 blue balled otakus. Specially if they're written by Nasu. They just drag the appeal of a VN down since most people think it's porn. Although... Kara No Shoujo had a fantastic use of them since if you get to an h-scene you should load your previous save since you are probably going to be murdered in the next 3 minutes. The game's sex scenes are hidden game over screens. I also didn't mention this but I find hentai utterly mysoginistic, at least 98% of the time it's based around rape, psychological torture and many other things... (Just thinking about Night Shift Nurses or Bible Black makes me shiver in the sense that it was suppossed to turn people on) The plot usually never justifies it so it's even worse.
